The night started a little slow at the bar, but it got much better. We were sad to see that they no longer do the Lucky hour and that the purple drink is gone. Dante was an amazing server for our group of eight. He had a wonderful banter & kept the suggestions coming! Everything we had was amazing although the calamari, wings, and kimchi fried rice were my favorites. The decor of the entire place is very nice. The good time girl drink was everyone's favorite but I also enjoyed the paper tiger & Mai Tai. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. If I lived in the area I'd be back!

I have been here twice! I really enjoy the atmosphere and how it is dimly lit. They also have some tasty items on the menu. Both times I got the tuna crispy rice and the kimchi fried rice. The tuna crispy rice is so good but it's really expensive at $15 for only 3 pieces. The kimchi fried rice is very tasty with lots of flavor. One of the times I went was for my birthday because the atmosphere seems great for a party! However, it seemed like the ac was broken as it was a little warm and they had a fan/ac unit on the floor that was blowing air. Some of my friends also thought the food was just okay but everyone really enjoyed their drinks. Overall, I think this is a great spot for cocktails and a small plate. Maybe somewhere to come after a party or dinner.

Imagine you and your favorite girlfriends yapping and sipping on the most amazing drinks while reaching over the table trying to try every dish they keep bringing out while also vibing to great music and a gorgeous atmosphere. This place is THE girls night out dream spot. I really don't know how a restaurant can make everything on the menu taste so good like they do. Go ahead and just get one of everything.

If you're into bougie date nights with gorgeous vibes, Black Jack Tapas & Bar , Atlanta checks all the boxes. The ambience is spot-on--dim lights, cozy corners, and the perfect mood for a night out. The drinks? So good. This fiery Mai Tai is one I'd happily order again. And shoutout to our server, Victoria, for the amazing recommendations--everything came out quickly and full of flavor. Their Asian tapas lineup truly delivers, with great vegetarian options too: 1. Stir-Fried Asparagus 2. Edamame Potstickers 3. Chicken Sando 4. Tofu & Rice 5. Basil Chicken & Rice Every dish hit the mark. Parking is validated if you park in the same building, and I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. They do follow timed seating, so make sure to read your confirmation email for all the details. #atlanta #atlblogger #trendingaudio #atlfoodiesquad #atlnights #atlnightspots #asian

I had a chance to check out Blackjack after I saw it advertised on instagram. There is a parking garage where you can get two hours free with the restaurant code. You will get the code when you enter the restaurant. The ambiance is very nice with it being dark, intimate and Asian influenced decor. Our waiter who was also the bartender, Emanuel was awesome! He provided recommendations and made sure we were taken care of. Excellent service from him! I ordered a craft cocktail which they have a good amount of. It was great! For appetizers we ordered the salt and pepper shrimp which was really good. For my main, I ordered the lobster in a pot. Super cool presentation and it was very flavorful! This is a good date night spot or a good spot to grab a craft cocktail before going somewhere else. I have definitely added this to my list to bring others.

The best Thai tapas experience ever! Every dish is thoughtfully crafted! My personal favorites were the squid ink pasta, salt pepper shrimp, and steamed mussels. Can't wait to come back for more!

This was such a good experience! From the time you walk in the décor is so inviting and well done. Sat at the bar and ordered the Shrimp Wonton, Edamame, Grilled Jumbo Cuttlefish, Crispy Thai Larb Meatballs, and Kimchi Fried Rice to eat and Spiced Dragon to drink. Everything was so tasty, but my faves (if I had to choose) were probably the Spiced Dragon cocktail and the Edamame. Overall, there was nothing I did not like during this visit and I can't wait to return!

I came here on Mother's Day so it wasn't busy but personally I really like that. Parking is very Atlanta, so I don't really expect much - but they do validate if you park at the deck closest to them. This place has tapas but they also serve big dishes. I personally love a tapas way of eating that way you can try everything. I would highly recommend the Enoki Tempura & Crispy Brie ! All the food was good but those two stood out for me. Not pictured was the Beef Jerky, but it was alright - it didn't feel like jerky as much as it was just cooked beef. I would recommend this as a good date night spot or something lowkey with friends !

Not sure why more people have not been talking about this place because everything was excellent! Came here on a Friday night and made reservations. Our server, Landon (or London?) was amazing. I would totally ask to be placed in her section the next time we come back. They offer happy hour between 5-7 pm and we managed to snag some items from the happy hour menu, and by some, I mean most of it as they had some items not available. From the happy hour menu, we all shared the fried calamari (it was too chewy), wings (breading was flavorful and fried to perfection), curry puffs (the puff could be crispier), cream cheese spring roll (my least favorite). We also ordered some items from the regular menu: salmon ceviche (good portion of salmon and the vin had a good bite from wasabi), spicy peanut noodle (this was just meh but it was spicy for sure), massaman hummus (my absolute favorite from everything we ordered but thought was serving was really small) and kimchi fried rice (definitely shareable and had tons of chicken and bacon!). Their drinks were pretty good too, though bar was extremely slow. The ambiance is sexy and beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

Hey hey! I recently dined at BlackJack with my girlfriends. We enjoyed the restaurant. Very cute, dim, sexy vibes. Perfect for girls night and date night. The food was great. We had the fried calamari, blackjack wings, asparagus, fries and the kimchi fried rice! Everything was good! I would only say that the tapas were on the smaller side. Drinks were tasty but I wish there were more options. Service was great -- the server made great suggestions and we enjoyed it all! All in all, would go back again esp for the Kimchi Fried Rice .

Newer place and I did enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance a lot. The food also had a lot of good qualities and the drinks are very well made and intriguing. I did find it was a bit expensive for what you are getting, we went with another couple and by the end the bill was 400 bucks and one of us were fully satisfied so caution on that

The food was good highly recommend the salt and pepper shrimp and the tuna rolls! The lychee drink was nice but the cucumber salad drink unless you love sesame please stay clear. The service was a 8/10. However, the ambiance gives date night. Very cute and highly ig worthy.

I feel like this place is a gem in the making! What a cool vibe it gives off with the food also speaking for itself. Is it pricey? Sure, but each thing we ate was impressive and the drinks were great too. It doesn't look like much, but the chicken sandwich I included a picture of was SO good. And the kimchi fried rice (not pictured) was also wow. We will be back and I can wait to see what else they come up with for the menu!

What a cool place. Discovered it incidentally while in downtown Atlanta. Upscale with a dress code…read morethankfully. The entrance code can be obtained from their website or local hotel concierges. Dial the number on the antique phone and the door magically opens. The staff super friendly and helpful. The bartenders are the best, clearly passionate about their work. I highly encourage you to try one or several of their signature cocktails. I sampled the Left Bank Martini and Vesper. As expected they are fully stocked with Pappy Bourbon, hard to find Amaro Noni. Ask a bartender about the ice block. The place is spacious unlike other speakeasys I've been to. Lots of niche areas with couch reservations, pool table available. No time for a cigar but that is on my list when I return. Food available from their upstairs sister restaurant.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

We found a nice table and ordered a glass of wine. We had every intent of staying and eating, but this atmosphere is not what we had in mind. Rather than just finding out, he went ahead and made it and brought it out with the group's drinks. When I saw how good it looked, I decided to order one too. The presentation of the drink was very nice and it had a good creamy flavor to it. This drink was a nice way to wind down the evening. As someone from TX, I did think the drinks were a bit on the pricey side but it's not surprising with it being the ritz. I liked that the bar had a fun yet casual ambiance and there were plenty of people around. We did ask what time last call was and were told midnight so we didn't hurry to order a second drink. Unfortunately, when we ordered another at 10:40... we were told they had closed which was frustrating.

Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!
