That girl. I've never had green beans so good! And I love a good lunch combo. Great service. Highly pleased even though we 100% stumbled upon it while touring midtown apartments.

The Sparrow in Midtown Atlanta, GA Some Sichuan flavors in Midtown Spicy Beef Rib Hotpot -- 4-5 super tender beef ribs in a rich Sichuan-style broth with glass noodles and enoki mushrooms at the bottom. Spicy, aromatic, slightly numbing, and PERFECT with rice.9/10 Spicy Beef Jerky -- savory and chewy, the more you chew the more flavor comes out. Lowkey perfect with drinks.8.8/10 Stir-Fried Pork Belly -- we asked for medium spice but not spicy at ALL. Loved the longhorn peppers though. 7.5/10 Stir-Fried Cabbage -- classic Chinese restaurant style. A little oily, but hard to mess up. 9/10 Lotus Root Dessert -- my favorite surprise. Glazed with hawthorn and jasmine syrup, lightly sweet, soft, and refreshing to end the meal. 8.8/10 Service was great too

My friend recommended this place to me and I am sooo glad I tried it! The vibes are styled with lanterns and Mahjong! It is very clean and not too noisy. A perfect chill place for friends gathering. Servers are very kind and friendly, too! I would recommend some authentic Chinese food if you really want to try it! The chongqing blood curd, (毛血旺)is good! Lotus with sticky rice, a traditional dessert dish, is sweet and soft! Will definitely come back again!

Came here with friends for Dragon Con and ordered some dishes from this place. Overall the food is great. I had spicy Hunan chicken and adzuki colada. You can choose the spicy level for the chicken. The meat is tender but delightfully chewy. Drink is also fantastic and you don't see adzuki drink often elsewhere. Will come back when I'm in town.

My meal here was great, shout out to my server michelle who was fun and attentive. Food came out quickly, and the soup and mapo tofu were both delicious. Mapo tofu was a little spicy in a good way and had awesome depth of flavor in the sauce. The scallions brought it to the next level. The soup also had a great broth and really good wontons inside, honestly one of the best wonton soups i can say ive had. The restaurant is cool on the inside and they played good music while i was in there. Prices are pretty reasonable too so this is an easy 5 stars from me

OMG this food was soooo damn good!!!!! Let me be clear 10/10. I dined here for the first time for lunch because I found out about it through vibesinatl's Instagram page. I've been following him since 2023 when I moved to Atlanta and he doesn't disappoint. During this visit to the city, the restaurant happened to be within walking distance of my hotel in Midtown - The Epicurean. As recommended, I ordered the orange chicken and lo mein - BOMB!!! The chicken was cooked and sauced to perfection. Top 5 orange chicken fasho. The best part the orange chicken was a part of the lunch special. The star of the show was the Crispy Wonton Wraps! OUSTANDING flavor and texture, I could've had two orders for an entree. The wonton soup was also delicious. The red sangria was freshly made by the bartender with love, it was so good and refreshing. If I didn't have a dinner engagement later that evening I would've ordered two! It was no wait for lunch on a Monday so I didn't end up needing my reservation. The dining area was spacious and nicely designed. Bar seating is also available. New favorite Chinese spot inside of 285. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I'll be back to try some of the other menu items next time I'm in Atlanta.

tried their lunch box and it was a solid price for the portion. I got the sesame chicken box ($13) with brown rice (+$1) which also came with kimchi. it apparently comes with a soft drink too but they forgot to give it to me. the chicken itself tasted more like orange chicken, and it was breaded more than I would've liked, but the chicken was tender.

I enjoyed a nice meal here last weekend. Their service was quite good and the food wasn't bad. More options for Chinese food in Midtown ATL is quite nice...

For a chinese eatery in the Midtown area, this place was surprisingly authentic. Besides their duck which was a little lackluster, the rest of the dishes were quite spot on in terms of the flavors. The main star we agreed was their osmanthus ribs. We called a fried green bean and dumplings alongside. The service was good and area was clean. Everyone gets a choice of white rice, lo mein (which I heard is quite good) for additional 1$ and a brown rice. It's a large amount per person I think I only ate half of mine. Green bean was adequately blistered in hot oil with a good salty topping on it like a black bean base. This dish was well done- would highly recommend for those wanting a veggie with their pairing. Soup dumpling was good as was the pork dumpling. Flavors did not leave an aftertaste that some dumplings do and were adequately flavored to where sauce was definitely optional The ribs were definitely the star here- it was simmered for hours in a osmanthus braised stew that made this dish floral tasting and the meat fell off the bone. It pairs with a salad next to it which is an interesting palatal concept since I don't usually associate braised with a fresh salad next to it. Would have establishment consider pairing it with some leafy cooked greens or something so it does not feel too fusion based and too contrast in flavor/texture. We ordered the half duck. This unfortunately was a little bit of a let down. The skin was used to make this caviar topped melon nacho fusion side dish which was actually quite good. The duck itself came chopped with the buns. I think the duck was quite dry and needed more salt/flavoring. Would ask establishment to reconsider how to keep this duck more succulent and consider brining it longer for the flavor to sink into the actual meat. Otherwise, it is a solid place for dumplings and for a kick of authentic flavor without traveling too far down to buford highway or duluth.

Tonight was pretty cool quick and attentive. We came in off of IG add and was surprise the food was exactly how the video described. Tonight we came during happy hour and the drinks was pretty good I had a Moscow mule and my husband had bourbon on the rocks. The apps were Szechuan fish, spring rolls and veggie dumplings. No disappoint there. Our main course was orange chicken and side of white rice and lo mein. All were amazing! The location was good and pretty cool art work. Cody our sever was very cool and knowledgeable. Overall we would come back.

Fun Chinese fusion spot in Midtown that is pretty authentic! The sparrow is in the same block as the midtown Publix and there is supposedly validated parking in that lot, but we ended up just street parking since it was after hours. The inside is super modern and there's plenty of space inside. The four of us shared a bunch of dishes and there were a few that I didn't care for and a few that I really liked! Favorites: 1. Fried eggplant - loved how crispy it was and the seasonings! 2. Crispy beef - super tender and flavorful beef! 3. Fish in spicy soup - perfect for spice lovers and I felt like they gave a good amount of fish Least favorites: 1. Xiao long bao - I'm kinda a soup dumpling snob lol but I felt like these were underwhelming. Not enough soup inside! 2. 3 cup chicken - was not a big fan of the chicken, so would def try something else next time! I'll definitely be back to try some other dishes especially if I'm looking for Chinese in midtown.

As expected they are fully stocked with Pappy Bourbon, hard to find Amaro Noni. Ask a bartender about the ice block. The place is spacious unlike other speakeasys I've been to. I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

The presentation of the drink was very nice and it had a good creamy flavor to it. This drink was a nice way to wind down the evening. As someone from TX, I did think the drinks were a bit on the pricey side but it's not surprising with it being the ritz. I liked that the bar had a fun yet casual ambiance and there were plenty of people around. We did ask what time last call was and were told midnight so we didn't hurry to order a second drink.
