Great service, great food, adorable atmosphere. I had the chicken ramen and added some chili oil and siracha on top. I also had a tempura shrimp roll on the side and all together was under $30!
The interior of this place is very cool and thoughtfully designed. The service is also top notch, each table has a button to call your server and mine came super fast every time i needed them. I got the ramen and 2 sushi rolls set, and it came out quickly. The portion was perfect size for a big meal for 1 person, or if you have 2 people you could split it and add an appetizer and it would be perfect. The shoyu yuzu chicken ramen was delicious, very fresh and flavorful toppings and great noodles and broth. I got the spicy tuna and crunchy yellowtail for sushi rolls, and of these i liked the crunchy yellowtail more but they were both really good. The dessert menu looks very enticing and with the great food and service, reasonable prices, and clean cool interior, this is a Midtown spot i would easily recommend and will surely return to
It's been a little while since I've been here, but my sister and I were really craving some quality sushi. However, we were slightly disappointed. We both got separate orders of the Four Seasons and spicy tuna rolls, which has become a bit of a staple pairing for me at this restaurant, but the fish didn't taste as fresh as it usually did and the seaweed was very hard to cut as if it we sitting out. Thankfully, the flavors were still there, but it was disappointing. Thankfully, we split the sashimi platter, which was definitely the move! We practically inhaled it because of how fresh and tender most of them were. Hopefully, this was just an off night, which is why I just knocked off one star, but it might take me awhile to try again.
I haven't had dinner here, though I would think it would be just as good as lunch. Service was friendly and quick, and the interior is pretty. I didn't think it would be from the outside walking by, but it's nice and felt private, which is good for conversation. There are a few places on the top of my head that are within maybe a 10 minute walk from here that also offer sushi. I like the options here better for the most part, I feel as though it's better quality. The only thing I wouldn't order again is probably the Kiss of Juju roll. I don't know. Maybe I should try again... but the strawberries were sour, and I couldn't taste anything besides the sour strawberry and creamy avocado then with the addition of soy sauce after trying to find a good balance, I found the roll confusing. Any of the ramen choices are fine, it's good enough, but I would personally go elsewhere if I was craving ramen in Midtown.
Came for a sashimi fix, stayed for the internal crisis. I sat at the bar hoping for a "front row seat" to the action, but unfortunately, the view was blocked. I couldn't see the chefs working their magic, but the service was lightning-fast, so I was in and out before I could even complain about the lack of a view. The Breakdown: * The Wagyu Nigiri: This was the star of the show. Topped with black truffle, it was so elite it basically dissolved on contact. I ordered two pieces, immediately experienced a spiritual awakening, and ordered two more. * The Sashimi Mystery: I got the Kanpachi and the Hamachi. Usually, I'm a Hamachi loyalist, but the one on the left (Kanpachi) won my heart this time. * The "Hamachi" Identity Crisis: The pieces on the right were significantly fattier and had that bold, "fishy" punch. I interrogated my server twice, and she insisted the right side was the Hamachi. If she's right, it was a bit too much "personality" for me this time. Verdict: The Wagyu is a must-order, but the sashimi was a solid 3.0 / 5.0. I've had better, but for a quick-service hit, it does the job. They validate parking up to 2 hours. Don't pay in the "Ten on Commons" garage. Wait to get their instruction from the restaurant. It's not intuitive.
It was sublime. From start to finish. Location: heart of midtown. We parked across the street at 10/10th. We did not ask about validation. Staff: friendly and passionate about the restaurant. Amazing recommendations and perfectly attentive. This is a restaurant that has a call button in lieu of someone checking in. Atmosphere: totally cozy and cool. We got to sit in a booth with a curtain and it was romantic Food: unreal sushi. Crispy rice: delicious and rice forward. Great flavor balance Miso soup: felt fresher than normal and it was piping hot on a cold day - awesome Sashimi: truly so good it felt like dessert . Fresh and soft Salmon trio sushi: pretty good but after having the salmon sashimi it was underwhelming; however, I am a huge fan of raw salmon Treasure box: the highlight - smoky and perfect. Unique too. I would highly recommend Salmon and yellowtail: classic and made well Mochi dessert: looks small but big flavor and we could barely finish! Overall an amazing experience and can't wait to try more
Great sushi place DT ATL and a plus, it was right across the street from my hotel so I walked. I was greeted immediately upon entering and was asked where I wanted to sit. At a sushi place you have to sit at the sushi bar, right?! I told the waiter I was a first timer and after he took my drink order he had great suggestions for me based on my likes. The sushi was so fresh and the chefs plated the sushi very beautifully that I almost didn't want to eat it. I will definitely be back if I'm in DT ATL again!
The 'Zen' style atmosphere is perfect for dating, relaxing chatting with friends and business talks. I tried the Kotteri Tonkasu ramen, the fried garlic adds the unique flavors! I love it! But it is not spicy at all even you ordered "spicy"!! The puddings is a must try dessert! With just the perfect balance of sweetness! And plus the green tea ice cream！ Love it
Tried this spot for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. They have booths inside with curtains so it felt nice and private. And they had call button at each table for when you were ready to order or if you needed something. The ramen was tasty and salty. 10/10. Especially since it was only 16$ and the ramen spot a block away was 23$. Will order again when I'm visiting atl.

Ordered the mini chirashi/sukiyaki set. -sukiyaki was super flavorful and meat quality was delicious (you can also upgrade for wagyu) - tempura was the perfect crunch -chawamushi was cmooth and silky -chirashi bowl had deliciously fresh fish and well marinated rice.
This is my second time coming. And it has been consistently good. I had a Japanese curry which was amazing, and the spicy tuna roll which was ok. My friend had a bagel roll. The service was great and the ambiance good also. It allowed for privacy.
Love the vibes of this place! Very classy and intimate feeling without feeling super super fancy. They validate parking for 2 hoursin the apartment complex nearby (Tens on West or something like that. If you go over two hours though don't fret! You can legit just renew for another two hours. Our server was super nice! I love that you click a little button if you need anything and your server comes right away. I got a ton of sushi, everything was super fresh and service was pretty quick for the most part. Would definitely come here again if I'm craving sushi in the future
I had an excellent time here; the service and food were on top! The host/server was super helpful in letting us know how to get our parking validated and what menu items were most popular. I had the Four Seasons roll, and it tasted as great as it appeared. I'll definitely be back to try some other rolls.

I had lunch at Nagomiya today for the first time, and I can already say it won't be my last visit. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Atmosphere The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated, with Japanese music playing in the background that sets a relaxed tone. There's a wet bar on one side of the space and a sushi bar on the other, which is where I chose to sit. Even with the bar, the space felt relaxed and welcoming, and it seemed like a comfortable spot for families with kids. Everything also appeared wheelchair accessible. The menu is full-service, offering lunch, dinner, dessert, and drinks for anywhere in between, and the selection is very nice, with plenty to explore. Location Nagomiya is in a beautiful part of Midtown Atlanta, and the location is very convenient. It's right next to an exit from the MARTA station, so it's easy to get to without a car. The Food I ordered the Sashimi Jewel ($18), which features tuna, salmon, and yellowtail over rice, served with organic greens, pickles, edamame, cucumber, baby radish, and poke sauce. It was delicious from start to finish. The fish tasted fresh and flavorful, the rice was well-textured and slightly sweet, and the greens were fresh. The sweet poke sauce is available when you want it, so you can add as much or as little as you like. The yellowtail was particularly flavorful, and the tuna was perhaps my favorite. The miso soup was included as part of the lunch special, and it was delicious. It arrived nice and hot, and it was flavorful and of above-average quality, especially for something served as a side dish. Value I felt I got a great value for the price. The fish was fresh and flavorful, the portion was satisfying, and the miso soup was a very good addition to the lunch special. Wait Time There was almost no wait. I waited maybe 5 minutes, if that. The main part of my dish was prepared right in front of me at the sushi bar, and the miso soup was brought out soon after. The Service I received genuinely excellent, high-quality service from the moment I arrived. Celine N. was very kind and attentive, checking in on me twice during my meal to see how everything was. She was patient while I decided what to order, and again when it came time to pay, never making me feel rushed. When I noticed the sushi bar and asked to change seats, she happily accommodated me, even though the seat she had first offered was already very nice. She was also pleasantly conversational while remaining professional with a warm, genuine presence that made the whole experience more enjoyable. I wasn't sure what to expect from my first visit, but to my relief, I felt welcome the moment I stepped-in. The Chefs Sitting at the sushi bar was the highlight of my visit. I had great conversations with two of the chefs, especially Bruno, who was generous with his time. He answered my questions in detail about ethnic Japanese food, how they prepare it, and how I could make it at home. That kind of openness and warmth makes a meal feel special. Final Thoughts I felt welcomed and encouraged to return. Even though this was my first visit, I've already recommended Nagomiya to others, and I'm looking forward to trying the sashimi platter next week. Exceptional service, nice ambience and authentic Japanese dishes. So glad we checked this place out during our overnight stay in Atlanta. The service was impeccable and there's even a call button at your booth to discretely call your server. Our Japanese waiter was so friendly and very helpful. Oh and the booths are the way to go. Cozy and intimate so you feel like you're just with the company you came with. Haven't really seen many places like this lately and I must say, it's very appealing. And then there's the food. Every single dish that we had was a wonderful. My Japanese mother thoroughly enjoyed her meal at Nagomiya and commented that it was all very authentic. Her favorite is always chawanmushi (steamed egg) which is usually rare to find at restaurants. And the fish was all very melt in your mouth fresh. But not only do they do sushi well, their tempura was perfectly battered and fried and the hamachi kana was cooked just right. Highly recommend! read more
This is a decent spot for Japanese food in Midtown, though it doesn't quite reach the level of some of the places I've been in OTP. The restaurant itself is charming as they have private booths with curtains, which makes for a cozy dining experience. I ordered the sukiyaki with a mini chirashi and shared the okonomiyaki. The chirashi was the really good because the fish was fresh and flavorful. However, the sukiyaki was a bit too salty for my palate, and the beef was slightly overcooked. The okonomiyaki was enjoyable, though I personally would have loved a bit more sauce to round it out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there is definitely some room for refinement with their main dishes. read more

Nagomiya is a star in the sea of mediocre restaurants to grab sushi in midtown. We were nearby at an event and needed some serious sustenance and Nagomiya was the perfect spot. We didn't have a reservation but also wasn't needed on a weeknight. Parking is validated (be sure to ask for validation code to text upon arrival) which is also rare in midtown these days. I sipped on a Esu*Pur*Esso Shake which was their creamy take on an espresso martini (a bit imbalanced for me, a bit strong). The chirashi don was delicious. Every bite of sashimi was perfect. We then proceeded to order the truffle toro don and imagine the shock when we received the truffle mushroom udon instead LOL. While I was disappointed in not receiving the truffle toro, the udon was more affordable and honestly what we needed more on a cold day. And it came with tempura veggies! I'm 100% coming back one day for that truffle toro din next time!! read more
For excellent Japanese food in a calming atmosphere, look no further. Location and Parking Located in Midtown, parking is validated in the deck adjacent to the restaurant. Venue and Atmosphere Meaning "place of tranquility" nagomiya offers private dining booths with curtains to enjoy your meal in peace. The restaurant and bathrooms (in the rear behind another curtain) are very clean. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. There is a call button to alert staff, but our server checked in on us regularly without being asked. Food and Beverages Both of our sushi rolls were amazing, as was the spicy dumpling soup. The pistachio ice cream dessert was a great touch to end the meal. I ordered the lychee cocktail and wasn't a fan, but that is a personal preference. Verdict I'll be back! read more
Had dinner here a week ago with a friend and it was lovely! They had booths with the curtains which means you can have a private conversation, but also means you can't people watch as effectively (just something to think about if people watching is part of your regular restaurant ritual). I had the Seasonal Dinner Set with Chirashi and Zaru Soba, and also ordered the Seaweed Salad. Seaweed Salad was standard, which means I loved it. The dinner set was nice too, though with way too much food. The chirashi was okay and I ended up not touching the rice given how much food there was. The tempura was a nice touch. And the soba satisfied my craving, though it was a tad overcooked. Prices were super reasonable for midtown and service was friendly. Not the best soba I've had, but not bad for midtown Atlanta! read more
When I walked by here earlier in the day, my Japanese friend recommended this place as they serve authentic Japanese food. I made a reservation online. Perks Every single item was fantastic! This is a great blend of specialty and staple Japanese cuisine. Not to mention very fresh fish! Friendly service. Ordered the sashimi jewel lunch special. Fish was pretty good. Sliced thin so don't expect large piece portions. I don't think I was charged the lunch special price though because my bill was way higher than I expected. I didn't check at the but only thought of it afterwards. Oh well. read more
Beautiful decor is what I noticed when I dropped by for a quick snack. I felt like I might've been in Japan. The service was Swift and accommodating. I only had 30 minutes to tell Down some luscious sushi before returning to a conference. The takoyaki was delicious with a large serving of five balls. I enjoyed the soft shell crab roll, but really hate when a tuna roll is chopped instead of a single piece of fish. That's my only complaint. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit last March while on a business trip which is why I brought my fiance during this trip. Unfortunately service wasn't good, the food was just okay and we won't be coming back. We were seated at the bar and received very slow service. Both guys behind the bar kept playing with and touching their hair while serving food, mixing drinks and wiping dishes. Our server was aware that the sushi chef was low on one of the specials but didn't say he'd need to double check before placing my finance's order. This resulted in me receiving my food more than 10 mins prior to his food. We ordered the onigiri set, one fish and one ume but didn't know till it came out that you can't get 2 different flavors. So we kept the ume set and canceled the other order. The server should have told us when we placed our order. The veggie roll had carrots in it which was a disappointment to me. It's a great opportunity to put gobo which would add flavor and texture. We made the best of the night even though my hyping up the restaurant didn't match our experience. I was seated at the end of the bar near the opening for staff. I didn't appreciate one of the servers throwing trash by my head to play basketball with the trashcan. Took a long time to receive our check even though we had 4 people consistently going in and out from the tiny bar. read more

An affordable sushi place in the heart of midtown. I am amazed at the quality and the service, look no further for amazing sushi. Nagomiya has a lot of things going well for it, they have an attached parking lot (accessible from W Peachtree) where they validate parking for two hours. The ambience is perfect for date night with private booths and a button to call the server. My friend and I ordered cheese karaage and spicy shrimp sumai. The cheese karaage is Korean fried chicken bites topped with cheese (delicious) The appetizers were both priced $7-$8. We ordered a spicy crunchy shrimp roll from the classic rolls section and a midnight roll from the signature rolls section. Both rolls were delicious but the midnight roll was exceptional, would highly recommend I think I have found my favorite sushi spot in Atlanta! read more

While we had an overall decent experience at this place, I'm only giving them 3 stars. We didn't have a reservation so the hostess mentioned the only table available were the high tops next to entrance. We opted to sit there and a server brought us waters right away. It was our first time here and we needed time to look thru their menu. I asked the server to give us a few minutes. They have bells on tables to use if you ever need anything. When we were ready to order, we rang the bell and our server, Vivian, came right away. She was very bubbly and friendly. We went ahead and ordered our drinks and food items at the same time. I ordered the lychee mojito and my husband ordered the highball. For food, we ordered the tofu avocado salad, spicy tuna roll, swirling eel and crunch 14th. This is where our dinner went downhill. We waited for a loooong time for our drinks. Probably 20 mins before we got it. Mind you, the restaurant was not at full capacity. Since we were near the hostess stand, people were getting turned away because all tables are booked but there were tons of empty seats at the sushi bar and regular bar. The entire time we were there, only 3 or 4 parties who had reservations came yet there were still empty seats in the restaurant. Aside from that, we also waited a looooong time for our food. Our salad came 30 mins after ordering, then 15 mins later, the two more complicated rolls came first and last was the spicy tuna roll. We were thinking our server may have missed the spicy tuna roll because it took awhile for us to get it. We observed the other people around us get their food shortly after ordering but we just didn't get the same luck I guess. Their food though was pretty tasty. The salad was good with the crunchy bits on top. All the sushi rolls we ordered were good too. Parking was kinda tricky. You park in the 10 West apartments and pay for it but the hostess has info on how to get your parking validated. Essentially, parking will be refunded if you get it validated. read more

What a treat. My husband and I stopped by on a whim as this spot was close to the hotel we were staying and he was dying for some sushi. To start the tables are super intimate with drawn curtains. Super unique. They also have a button you press when you need your waitress. This was hard for us to adapt to, but also very unique. As far as food goes, my husband got one of the torro platters and I got a ramen bowl and the devil roll. The food was delicious and the service was great. Can we just talk about how cute this place is? I didn't take pictures of the decor inside ( i really should have!) but it was so cute! I think it would be a perfect date night or a girls night out! Super super cute! We had the best server ever! My son was a little cranky, so our server brought him fried pumpkin early so he can stay occupied! (Of course most of it ended up on the floor) but that was really nice of him! I really really loved the service! Normally I go one by one on every item we try but man the food was delish!! We loved everything we ordered!! Make sure you save some space for the matcha cheesecake because man, that was Amazing! read more

Came here on a whim of a choice wanting to try it out. Ended up not so satisfied The host and server were very friendly; however my poor review does not reflect on them. I had sushi here, and the portion was extremely small compared to other restaurants that I've eaten sushi at for about the same price. The salmon in the Philly roll was extremely small both times they made it, and I would have appreciated the roll on them for it being such a small portion. I was very disappointed in this fact about the portion size. As I have experienced better. They offered to take the price off, but I wanted my food because I was hungry, so I kept it, but I didn't feel extremely satisfied, and unfortunately, it was not worth what I paid for my meal. They never took it off unless I decided to return my food. I was faced with accept it or don't When I spoke to the host about it, she said she would talk to management; however, she said she didn't know very much about sushi. That was surprising Overall, I was not very satisfied with visiting this place on a whim to try it. I've experienced better portions of sushi at similar restaurants and the same pricing for a la carte rolls It should be taken into strong consideration to improve the portion size. read more

I really enjoyed our visit here. The food was amazing, very fresh and flavorful. The service was very attentive and we were seated on Vday despite having no resy the music was great too. Definitely getting added to the date night list read more
