We visited on a Sunday during a holiday weekend, and to my surprise, it was very quiet. That turned out to be a bonus since parking in this area can be a challenge. There are a limited number of free parking spaces, but there's also a parking garage conveniently located right next to the restaurant. The restaurant was clean, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Since there were only about three occupied tables, we had our pick of seating. The menu is accessed through a QR code, but I appreciated that they also provide a tablet for guests who prefer not to (or can't) use their phones. The service was excellent. Our server took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and clarify which substitutions were available. Hands down, the best gyoza I've had in Georgia. The wrappers were perfectly crisp with a juicy, flavorful filling that disappeared far too quickly. I ordered the Hot Miso Ramen, and it arrived looking just as incredible as it tasted. The vibrant crimson broth was topped with tender slices of pork chashu, a perfectly marinated jammy egg, sweet corn, scallions, sesame seeds, and seasoned ground pork, creating a bowl that was as visually inviting as it was delicious. Despite the name, the spice level was approachable; it added warmth without setting my mouth on fire. The broth was rich, savory, and layered with flavor. I'm usually not a fan of pork ramen, so I ordered the chicken karaage to add to my meal, but it honestly wasn't necessary. The pork was exceptionally tender, well-seasoned, and completely changed my opinion of pork ramen. My daughter ordered the Hangover Cure Ramen, which was equally impressive. It was soothing, deeply savory, and comforting; the kind of meal that warms you from the inside out. It was lighter than my bowl but still packed with flavor, making it the perfect choice if you're looking for something nourishing without sacrificing taste. We finished with a mochi ice cream. If you're looking for real Japanese ramen, it's not here. If you're happy with a savory soup mostly influenced by external additions - miso, wagyu, garlic, shrimp, etc. - rather than the richness of the broth, then E Ramen + is a good place to go. I have yet to find real Japanese ramen, or good Japanese food in general, in Atlanta. This spot is stronger than Momonoki and some of the other alternatives, and if you go, I would recommend the Dark Knight, which is flavored with black garlic. That said, if you're a visitor used to ramen driven by the richness of the broth, chewy noodles, and toppings that don't obscure the flavor of the soup, there are much better things to eat in Atlanta (I would recommend the Chinese hand-pulled noodle soup at Xi'An Gourmet House, which is not too far from this spot) read more

The garden ramen was 10/10. This is a ramen that even a meat eater would love to have any time, and it came out crazy fast, like under 5 minutes fast. Also very reasonably priced at around 17$ before tip. I was a little scared because the menu mentioned pumpkin puree, and i was worried it would be overwhelming. My 3 time at E Ramen. This place does not disappoint. I came right before happy hour and sat at the bar. I was immediately greeted and given water. It was pretty quiet for a Wednesday but I came right before happy our started. Chris, the bartender, came in after I placed my order. He remember me from my last visit and got some of the sweet chili sauce he recommended last time for my fried edamame. I didn't plan on having a drink but he let me know that it was happy hour and after a quick rundown i settled on the "Forever Always". At night it is a comfortable dim and subtle atmosphere, and in the day it is quiet refuge in a bustling city. quite a nice place to meet with friends, coworkers, or a date. I had the tonkatsu bowl and it was a explosively flavorful bowl. the rice is coated with sauce so every bite is filled with flavor. A sweet sauce, one that reminds me of takoyaki, coats the tonkatsu and is wonderful against the crunch and meetings of the katsu. I also had the pleasure of trying two ramens, the Dark Horse and E signature ramen. The Dark Horse has a deep roasted garlic taste that is soaked into the pork and noodles so that every bite will be infused with flavor. The E signature ramen is definitely the show stealer here. It's complex plating and beautifully arranged ingredients taste just as good as it looks. I believe it is based on the classic tonkatsu broth woth a umami blasted twist. the soup is slightly spiced, but more on the rich side with the pork broth and pork belly adding a savory taste. the egg adds a nice creamy taste to the soup or you can eat it as is. The scallions that adorn the soup add a nice refreshing and sharp taste to accent the broth. The servers were very kind, and actually added a light cheerful aura to our brunch. My boyfriend and i shared the takoyaki which was REALLY good. highly recommend because of the sauce and big octopus chunks. the ramen on the other hand was a let down and the biggest reason for the 2 star; we ordered the miso hot and the signature. Nothing very flavorful or standout about them. in fact, the signature ramen was the more bland than the miso, and tasted mostly of salt with little richness of a usual tonkotsu broth. the miso had a little more flavor but still not our favorite. tldr: the restaurant itself is fine, just little loud. good service and even better takoyaki, but the ramen was a letdown. read more
