So I've been to MCK a couple of times. The first time I went, I actually just had drinks, but it was a whole vibe. I went back and actually had some food with some drinks, and it was a really good time. The place is very well kept and super clean, and it's super spacious as well. You really have a lot of options as far as sitting, depending on what kind of group you have. You come there and you have to park and parking is not free. You're in Buckhead so you know the drill. Depending on what time of day, what night it is, you could pay about $10 - $20 to park. If you decided to ride share,I would understand. You make it to the door and go through security and you're in a beautiful restaurant in bars setup. The bar is very clean and well lit and decorative, and everything else is very clean as well as far as the decor and the setup for the restaurant area. And it's a lot of space too. So if you have a larger party, or a lot of people, you could definitely go here. Now they do have another area that you can't see right when you walk in. I don't know if it's like a hookah speakeasy kind of situation, but you have to go past the bathrooms into the hallway to a more hidden bar area. Now this one is a straight corridor, basically, and it's lined on either side tables and chairs. There's a bar toward the center so you still can access drinks (because there is a separate bar back there) but a lot of these tables will be where people do hookah. Of course it's Atlanta so they have to have an area for hookah lol! But this is still a very cool vibe. If you didn't want to do dinner you could just do drinks and hookah so it's an option. Papas bravas - these potatoes were done very well. They came out tender yet crispy. The sauce that they had with the potatoes was awesome. I wish I remembered what it was, but it was hittin. Crispy pork belly- the pork belly had a cauliflower cream sauce and came out with about four strips. The cauliflower cream sauce was alright, but the pork belly itself was great. It was very tender and had a nice bit of flavor to them, even without the sauce. They were nice-sized strips as well, so I definitely will order this for an appetizer another time. Overall, I don't have any complaints, the drink that I had was good but the appetizers I had were great. I would 101% go back.
The vibe and food were fantastic. The price for the tapas was very reasonable. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and nice. The food arrived quickly with no complaints. The lobster bites were a bit small. Next time I'm in Atlanta, I will return.
Atlanta is going to valet park you in a lot you can spit across and charge for the privilege! That said I hate looking for a spot to park. Went to MCK for the Bayab Gin tasting. We enjoyed it a lot. After the tasting we stayed for a few tapas. We ended up getting several dishes and cocktails. The stand out cocktail was Purple Rain. I've been charged with recreating it at home. We enjoyed all of the dishes and the three of us all had different favorites. Service was great. The manager, Grace, was friendly. The valet guys took our photo. It's a hike from where I live but I would def stay and eat again if I can catch another tasting there.
This place gets packed. We went on Sunday around 9pm. You have to go early to get a table but the speakeasy in the back doesn't open until late. They didn't have so menu items we wanted but our server was cool. I want to say, he told us to go to whiskey mistress they come back which we did and the tables were gone.

My friends and I visited MCK for a night out. MCK is a tapas style restaurant, which I love because I get to try many things. We started with a bottle of white wine, which our server presented beautifully. We then ordered an assortment of dishes , the mussels were my favorite and the seared tuna. Everything was honestly delicious. We finished our meal off with the bread pudding and it was some of the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend.!
What a spot! Lobster bites, street corn, watermelon salad, brussels sprouts, shrimp tostada! I'm still thinking about ALL of it. Wow. Wow! And Wow! This is my favorite way to eat: small plates, bold flavors, fantastic and fun service, and everything vibrant. It's a very laid back and sophisticated spot. You could tell the staff loved working here. Heck, I didn't want to leave! Honestly, one of my favorite meals I've had in Atlanta. Can I get another order of Lobster Bites please?

We were offered hot towels to wipe our hands before our meal. I ordered the side piece drink which was really good. My wife and I split tapas and they were large portions. We ended up sharing with our friends at the table. Our friends enjoyed their drinks and food as well. I was brought out a birthday cake by our waiter. The vibe is definitely a grown and sexy vibe. I really enjoyed my dinning experience! Then after we checked out the speak easy in the back! Great time was had! We will definitely be back!

The only thing I'll note is a sales tactic I do NOT like, when you ask for water they'll ask "Still or Sparkling" & automatically bring you still bottled water that's $12, instead of "tap" water (as they'll call it). Very unnecessary. Because once we finish one bottle, here we are paying for another $12 for water. Other than that, MCK is nice!

EXCELLENT! The braised short rib is my favorite. Pair it with the mashed potatoes instead of the risotto mushrooms. Chefs kiss. It'll fill you up with a side.
My bestfriend decided to throw his birthday dinner here and it was a great decision. The ambiance alone was absolutely amazing. It presents a sophisticated environment with great vibes and good music. The service provided by the staff is amazing as well from the valet outside to the waitress and team who took care of us in the private room. It was truly a positive interaction with everyone I came in contact with. The menu is tapas style and has something to offer everyone. From a simple salad to the lobster bites, there is a variety that fits any desire. Having the private room elevated the experience as the natural ambiance of the venue blended with the vibe in which we curated for ourselves. Truly a time was had as we embarked on a night of celebration, joy, cheer, and great memories at MCK. It's def a must try! read more

Came here for a birthday dinner. Parking is valet but I got there an hr after they opened, so I parked myself & valet got me squared away. You pay $10.50 at the end of the night. We were seated immediately & it took a while for our server to come, but when she did - she brought complimentary hot towels for our hands. I ordered the Purple Rain, which is gin based & delicious. The ambience was nice & classy. Definitely a great date night or bday setting. I ordered the Brussels sprouts, street corn (which comes shucked), & salmon tostadas. The first two dishes were delicious. There was a mix up with the last but they rectified the situation. The bus boy was working overtime. If you're a grazer, prepare to defend your plate & beverages all night. Our server was very personable & informative, but the service was slow. We finished eating at 10pm, but the bday dessert didn't come until 30-40 mins later. Something to keep in mind. Oh...& there's a speakeasy next door too. We didn't stop by since we had a second destination, but I'd be willing to come back just to see about it. read more

A girlfriend of mine celebrated her birthday here. First off, the parking situation is a mess! But, I don't wanna lead with that, because we had a great time. The drinks were good. The server recommended several drinks, but forgot to tell us that it was extra cost for the extra ingredients that he was adding in it. But it was a special occasion, so we kept the night rolling. A couple of the girls that I went with ordered appetizers and entrées and we all decided to share. Some of the girls complained about their food being cold, but I did not have that experience. I ordered the calamari and it was OK. The restaurant was clean, the service was good, and the server was very attentive. We had rather large party, but he handled it very well. At the end of the night, the server sang happy birthday to my friend, and that was a special moment for her. read more

This place is absolutely amazing!!! My best friend and I visited from California and unfortunately we came here on our last night. I wish we found out about this place the day we landed. The Manager (Grace) treated us like family after telling her about our experience in ATL the past few days. We were there for 5 days and on the last night she made up for everything we experienced. The food was excellent, the drinks were strong, and the vibes were there. The managers, owners, and staff were so attentive, kind, and just overall amazing people. If you are looking for a grown, sexy, chill, and fun time this is the place to be. I would highly recommend coming here and this will be the first place I go to the next time I visit Atlanta. Also highly recommend the bread pudding, the short rib, and the lobster bites :) read more

If you need an adult late night bite, MCK is the place to go. This restaurant has great people watching, music and cocktails. I forgot our server's name, but he was a sweetheart and took care of our group of 5. There's a back room that's open if you ask your server. They have amazing hookah and cozy vibes as well. Our server Isis was attentive and was on point with our order. I recommend coming here after 11pm or 12am to get the full experience and best people watching. read more
I absolutely enjoyed every second of my experience at MCK. Friday, i went to celebrate my partners birthday and I'm happy to say he was pleased with his birthday dinner. The ambiance is nice; I love the style and the vibe. Unfortunately, I don't remember my waiters name, but he was amazing from his personality, customer service, and recommendations. Our drinks were flavorful and strong. I ordered the So Close and Thyme for that. By the end of the night, I was feeling too nice. The birthday boy did his typical old fashion, and it was given grown and sexy in a glass. I love the fact that they surprised him with a slice of ice cream cake and 2 glasses of champagne. It was an amazing experience!!! I ordered the Branzino with broccolini & papas bravas. My man ordered the ribeye and a side of mashpotatoes. EVERYTHING was chef's kiss. Stopped in here for my NYE dinner to end 2023 the right way and I couldn't have been more pleased! From the valet parking outside to the quick seating the hostess, everything was great! The ambiance inside was beautiful, white table cloths, low lighting, and beautiful decor. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our servers who informed us we would be have two of them to help assist with our needs, and they brought us warm towels to clean our hands before we started ordering. We both ordered a speciality cocktail; the basil baby & thyme 4 that. We ordered a variety of tapas and even tried the speciality fried corn soup and everything was delicious! Oh my.. I hate that this was my first dinner here. The menu is the perfect size and everything we had from the tapas and dinner menu was delicious. Favorites included Skirt Steak, Lobster Bites, Tomato Bruschetta. We also had the Duck Tacos (my husband loved) and the Short Rib (small dish suited for 1). We shared the Branzino entree and it was delicious. Beware, it's a very boney sea bass but worth the choking hazard. The ambiance was classy. The lighting was dim yet inviting, creating a perfect backdrop for an intimate dinner. The decor featured elegant artwork that blended modern glam design with a hint of rustic charm. Music played in the background, enhancing the overall experience without overpowering our conversation. Think sexy remixes. Service was impeccable, ASIA was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent selections, which truly elevated the meal. Ask to sit in Asia's section for an awesome experience. Dessert was a miss for us. I've had the chocolate cake before and knew to avoid it, so I opted for the cheesecake. The texture wasn't great and the strawberry jam missed the mark. One of my favorite spot! Everything is tapas! I love that they give you a hot towel before you eat. The food was so yummy! They have a hidden hookah bar. I was not expecting to enjoy myself as much as I did, but the service and the food were phenomenal. I'll be back! Reservations: We had a party of 2 and made a reservation. We went at opening on a Wednesday night, so it wasn't too busy. But if you're going on the weekend and/or with a big group - highly recommend a reservation. Parking: There is valet or self-parking available. Each is $10. My friend and I parked across the street in the Marshall parking center for free. Food: The food was AMAZING. We ordered 5 dishes in total and it was the perfect amount for us to split. We left completely satisfied. We ordered the charred broccolini; the grilled shrimp; the duck confit tacos; the patatas bravas; and the bread pudding. Drinks: They have a variety of wines and cocktails available. They only have one non-alcoholic/mocktail on the menu. Water is $10, so keep that in mind before asking for water. I ordered the Basil Baby and my friend ordered the Not What You Think. We both enjoyed our drinks! Vibe: Aside from the parking and water pricing, I loved everything about this spot. It's a lot bigger than expected once you step inside and the staff takes care of you from beginning to end. Though the outside of the restaurant is a bit chaotic, the inside holds a calmer atmosphere. There was soft music playing upon our entrance and we (a party of 5) were sat quickly on a Wednesday evening. We were looking for a quick bite before a night out and MCK was perfect for such an occasion. We shared some tapas that definitely held mixed reviews amongst the table. However, the stir fry mushrooms were a huge hit! I personally enjoyed the skirt steak, but I will admit the lobster bites and tuna tartare were a bit underwhelming and flavorless. The salad was introduced to our table as bland, but the dressing helped a lot as it packed flavor. I'd return to eventually try the larger plates. read more
I love MCK and brought one of my friends from out of town here. She had the salmon over cheese grits and was like you HAVE to have this dish. I got it and it was 10/10. I also love the calamari there, probably the best in the city. Drinks are good too! Service was great too as usual, shoutout to Obi. And the ambiance is always chill and classy. So I have been to MCK twice now and it deserves to get a review because what... so good! The ambiance is definitely grown and sexy, dimmed lights, beautiful black and white "olden days" aesthetics which I love. The service each time was on point. And the food was delicious. It is tapa style so not large amount of food so depending on your group size may order duplicates like we did but worth it. We had an assortment of their amazing tapa - calamari, brussel sprouts, lobster bites, skirt steak, papas bravas, broccolini, salmon tostada. Everything was so good! And the drinks, chefs kiss! Stopped in for a birthday dinner. The service was amazing from the minute we arrived. We were greeted immediately the host got us to our table. We noticed the ambiance was nice chic yet cozy. Our server Katy was awesome. Her service was excellent I will ask for her when we go back. She walked us through the menu and we made some delicious choices. The calamari was amazing some of the best I've had in some time. The lobster tail was delicious as well. The star of the night for me was the bread pudding I'm not a dessert person but this was amazing I had a hard time stopping. Upon arriving, the valet was ready with umbrellas as I went on a rainy evening. They walked me all the way to the door to ensure I didn't get wet. Valet is $10, by the way. The atmosphere inside the restaurant had a great vibe. The décor is dark but chic, the lighting was low and the walls are lined with large black and white prints. We ordered a lot of different things so we could try a variety of foods. Side piece: This was a really good drink. I was worried the honey would make the drink too sweet but it was nicely balanced. Tuna tartar crostada: This was pretty good but could've used a little acid. Pulled duck confit tacos: The tacos were pretty good but they were a little light on the duck. Braised beef short rib with mushroom risotto: So good! It was flavorful and the short rib was tender. Bruschetta: I love bruschetta but I didn't enjoy these. There was an odd taste I couldn't figure out but it wasn't what I've known and loved bruschetta to be. Thai curry mussels: I didn't enjoy the flavor. Specialty bread pudding: Delicious! As for the service, everyone is really nice. It can get overwhelming at times because instead of having one server, all of the servers come over and check on you so every few minutes there's someone coming by. It can be hard to talk or just enjoy your meal. I did appreciate management calling the next day just to ask about my experience. read more
Where do I begin!! From the great men at valet, to my server Asia, the manager Grace, I can keep going. Came in for my birthday dinner (didn't disclose introvert) all the service was great. This is a tapas menu which I adore because you get to try a bit of everything. We ordered so many things and there was nothing I can say that was bad. Asia our server can we just give a hand clap the absolute best service since I've been in Atlanta. The decor was a great mix of masculine feminine energy. Everyone can vibe here. MCK has a new regular from me from this visit for sure. My daughter was a bit cold and Asia came with the MCK blanket and that sealed the deal. While on an Atlanta "quickie", I had time to check out this relatively new trendy restaurant and for sure, this is my kind of spot. If I lived in Atlanta I would probably come to MCK once a week just for the DOPE azz vibe and the lobster bites! The atmosphere is super cool and super chill.. Reminds me of.. Hmmmm..ME..LOL!! Dimly lit, slick beats playing in the background, definitely a place to see and to be seen. MCK will be on my to do list each and every time I'm in the ATL. Next time it won't be a quickie so maybe ill come twice...I'm absolutely hooked!! read more
