This Spot was just what I needed on a Monday evening ! I just so happened to stop into this beautiful street side restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was immaculate. The manger even made regular rounds to our table ! This is a good spot for a date. Almost forgot, on Mondays it's half off on all bottles of wine

Jerk lamb chops

I've been here before and everything was fine but this time to pay $40 for lamb chops and it's this small is crazy

The Burgess is the first boutique hotel in the Buckhead district. It is truly unique. The owners inspiration is steeped in two disparate design ideas: to create a sense of home and reflect the life of travel enjoyed by the owners. These are quite apparent when you experience this elegant space. The service I've experienced here is quite rare. They truly make you feel like you are home with family. It all starts with their General Manager Yannick (shown in photo). He trains the staff to make you feel special through their attentiveness and welcoming approach. Not to mention he and the staff exhibit some serious high fashion. They dress to impress. Mr. B. Bar is an elegant space that balances bar and lounge really well. The cocktail program is strong with both creative house specialties and classics. Even the classics have a fun spin. Their old fashioned is delicious with a coconut washed bourbon and spiced pecan syrup. Seen in the photo is a well-crafted Black Manhattan by Mark, the head bartender. The bar is a tribute to Keki Bunshah (Mr B.), the owners father. Mr B was the leader of the first Indian expedition to summit Mt. Everest. Proceed to the (actual!) phone booth, dial, and enjoy a sultry night out in ATL's premier cigar lounge. Venue and Atmosphere As you sink into the plush leather couches, get comfortable with the mood lighting and peruse the extensive drink menu. There is a strong smell of smoke but the ventilation is decent and you will get used to it. The aesthetic is sultry, the vibes are immaculate, and the whispers of conversation linger. Service Our server and bartender were amazing. There was a mix up with our bill but they handled it swiftly and professionally. Food and Beverages The charcuterie board and two old fashions were wonderful; the perfect nightcap. They had an extensive range of bourbon to choose from which is no surprise, and the bartender is very skilled at her job. The Verdict I'll be back for another night cap!

And clearly, her mother did not teach her manners, I can't imagine being so disrespectful as she was. I had no idea there was a dress code, and I have no issue with being turned away if one exists. What I object to is being greeted with a shouted, "Oh no, no, no," as though we had wandered in barefoot and carrying a cooler. A simple, civilized "I'm sorry, but we have a dress code" would have done the job. Instead, she chose theatrical inhospitality and condescension. For the record, I was wearing Prada platform sneakers, a Cartier watch, Chanel earrings, Fendi, baguette, and a French-terry top. So while I may not have met whatever arbitrary standard she was enforcing, I was hardly dressed in a way that justified being treated like an intrusion. Frankly, it was clear my top alone was worth more than her entire outfit that looked like it came from Filene's Bargain Basement for tor a funeral director. In the end though, manners, as they say, cannot be purchased. Southern hospitality is a joke. This was absolutely the rudest person I've ever I encounter in 47 years at an establishment. She may have been dressed up, but she clearly had no style,

Cons $16 a drink can rack up pretty quickly if you're a heavy drinker. Would I Recommend: Yes! Based on the drinks I would definitely recommend this place. As there weren't any tables available in the main area where I wanted to sit down, I chose to wait there. Meanwhile, I walked to TW once again and asked him to put my name down for when a table opens up. He told me that whenever the first table is available, it is mine. I waited for 30 minutes, watching 3 tables open up, and he never mentioned anything. At some point he seated a couple at one of the tables, so I came up to ask why he hasn't called my name yet, to which he moved his arm toward me in a gesture as if he was getting rid of me, saying "you can sit wherever you want to" with an attitude. I requested to speak to a manager, and all the manager did was offer me a table. At this point I was no longer in the mood to relax and enjoy my night, as I didn't feel welcome at this place at all. After a five-minute conversation with the manager and no result, I left. Very disappointed, and not coming back here. I was going to use this hotel for my birthday, but I guess now I'm taking myself elsewhere.

There was also a chill but elevated ambience for sure. I will definitely suggest this to anyone that's looking for a nice hotel bar because this is definitely a good one.

Both were pretty good. The rooftop space is nice, and I liked having the option to hang out outside. One thing that was a little disappointing was the seating situation. There weren't many open seats available because most of the tables were reserved or required a purchase, so it was hard to find a place to settle in. The vibe also felt a little off since there weren't a lot of people there during the event, which made it feel less like a party and more like a regular afternoon at a rooftop bar. On the plus side, I did enjoy the music and the photo booth was a fun touch.
