Truffle fries
Nakema G.

I recently went to The Betty to celebrate my birthday. We heard they had sips & soul so my bf & I were curious to check it out. We had a wine flight for $30pp. There was a live singer in the bar area. The wine was a little pricey especially for what you get. I can't say I would go back for that portion. We ordered food. To share we had the truffle fries. For my entree I had the smoked half chicken. It was pretty good, but I was disappointed they didn't have any more Brussel sprouts so I had to get listed mixed vegetables. They were just okay

I just had the best brunch experience, with $30 bottomless mimosa. The Chicken Waffle is my favorite, the waffle is more towards the chewy side, and the fried chicken is juicy and crispy. Our server Eric and the manager Sushan were both very nice and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you stay at the Sylvan hotel.

It's been a few years since my first triumphant visit to The Betty, so when I wanted a staycation and a great meal with a good book, Kimpton Sylvan was the spot for me. On a Friday night at 6PM, the Betty team were just opening up and whipped me up a perfect dirty martini while I got settled in. It's a hotel restaurant but doesn't feel like it at all - it's beautiful and the menu is fantastic. I loved that no one blinked at a solo diner taking up a table on what became a busy night for them. Food gets a high score all round; the fries are amazing, and everything is super fresh and served beautifully. I only got to chapter 3, distracted by people watching and the overall experience. Thanks again, team Betty!

Short Rib

This was the $39 short rib delivered to my hotel room. Now, the actual restaurant and bar seems very nice. Staff was friendly as well. But this in no way, shape or form-- a $39 entree.

First things first, Cody and Will were amazing!!! It was my first time dining at the Betty, and they provided amazing service. The decor was beautiful and very elegant. We went for Easter, and they had a really nice buffet set up. The items that stood out the most from the buffet, were the roast beef and ham, and the desserts. The strawberry cheesecake and Oreo bites were TOO good. I'd like to return to try out their dinner menu, as I've heard some good things about it.

Between the food and Eric, the evening was great. The appetizers were off the charts. Don't dismiss the warm ciabatta with the marrow butter. The tuna tiradito and the crab cakes are a must try!

Stopped by here for a cocktail while visiting the hotel. I loved the ambiance. It was very warm. I look forward to coming back to try the food.

Birthday girl with her Braised short rib!

The food was pretty good! We enjoyed it for the most part! We started with a lump crab cake which was good! Next we had the braised beef short rib which was also very enjoyable! I had an old fashioned which was pretty good, and she had a mojito mock tail which was pretty good too. For dessert we had a cheesecake which was just ok. It was my wife's birthday. I appreciated that they greeted her with happy birthday but not much else happened. I wrote a note specifically asking for a candle, and while I realize restaurants run out or some don't carry them, I feel this is an essential for upscale dining. If you don't have a candle for a birthday, they could at least write happy birthday or something in chocolate to acknowledge the birthday girl. Additionally we got charged for the birthday dessert, which is not really customary. I don't mind paying for a birthday dessert but it wasn't really a birthday dessert. It was just cheesecake from the menu, and honestly the quality was not worth the $11 dollar price tag. Our server was ok, but lacked attention to detail. I feel that the restaurant staff need better training, and some simple changes to a few operational things would go a long way. Candles or any gesture can go a long way towards making the guest experience special. Ours was just kinda average. The problem here is that the guest experience should never be so so in a fancy restaurant that prices their menu accordingly. Upscale prices need to be accompanied by upscale service and attention. All that being said, the food was pretty good----just not stellar.

The Betty is the perfect dinner spot for a swanky dining experience in the heart of Buckhead. Parking is valet only but discounted if you dine in with the Betty. So it's always a plus to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink at the Betty before or after your visit to Willow Bar or St. Julep. Otherwise, I recommend street parking right across the street from the hotel for free and walking over to avoid worrying about that at all (I've made that mistake a few times now and never again). I made a reservation to celebrate my 30th birthday here and invited a few friends to join me. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and try. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Loved the hamachi crudo and the pastas (cappelletti & spaghetti) were both tasty. The presentation on the sea scallops was gorgeous. The 32 oz prime ribeye was $169 - a bit pricy for what it was. It was super fatty (although I do enjoy my beef marbled) but since I ordered it medium rare, parts of the meat were borderline not rendered fully. But I loved the roasted garlic and madeira jus. My only other complaint were the sizes of the dishes overall were a little small for the price but otherwise a great meal. The meal isn't cheap but I definitely recommend experiencing it at least once on a special occasion.

Outstanding! Was a little unsure compared to pictures and it's in a hotel, but I grabbed a seat at the bar and it was phenomenal. The service, the food, the level of communication - all were perfect but not too much. Outstanding. Vibes were amazing as well, so cozy! Recommend the Rockefeller oysters and side of mushrooms. Bar is perfect spot too!

Delicious creme brulee cheesecake

Went in for dessert! The bartender suggested the creme brulee cheesecake I said let's do it! He also made me a delicious late with half and half, vanilla and an espresso shot! So delicious!! This place is nice! The ambiance is perfect, the place is stylish, sexy and it looks like it has a nice menu as well! I'll be back! Thank you for a delicious nightcao nightcap!

My husband and I were staying at the Sylvan hotel which is how we want into this restaurant. We had an amazing dining experience at this charming restaurant, where the halibut was perfectly cooked (not dry at all) and bursting with flavor. The romantic ambiance, enhanced by live jazz music, created a wonderful atmosphere for a special night out. The crab cake was tender and flavorful, while the burrata paired beautifully with the beet sauce, offering a fresh and savory contrast. Overall, the combination of exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening. The service was great and staff were efficient.

2022 again and ready for more. The menu has changed ... $169 for prime ribeye. Ok. The food is very good!! The bread.... Hamachi crudo Chicken liver Scallops Beef cheek Mushrooms ------- Brunch Jan 2023 The Betty is great for a relaxed sophisticated brunch with no drama. We were a party of 7. The mushroom omelette was very popular. It was good. The short rib dish is so tasty! The cheese grits were very salty, I would stay away from them.

Cons $16 a drink can rack up pretty quickly if you're a heavy drinker. Would I Recommend: Yes! Based on the drinks I would definitely recommend this place. This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!
