Martini service with oysters and fries.
    Samantha E.

This place is really cute! The servers and bartenders were friendly and the martinis were crisp and delicious. The martini service for four was really better suited for two (which is how many of us enjoyed it) because it's four oysters. The spiced nuts they had with our service were their masala spiced pecans and I had to get some to go. They also had a great wine selection. I would love to go back and try more of the menu.

At this place, I tried so many dishes I'd never tried before. I will say the staff's kindness is pleasant. I tried an item with chicken liver, and truthfully, it was good. It was my first time eating something like it. Also, the fries are the best I have ever tasted.

Highland Charm! This spot feels cozy and community centric. With a forward thinking menu and wine list, it does evoke a certain level of uniqueness. Parking: probably the most challenging but if you're familiar with the area there is plenty of street parking nearby. There is a small tight lot next to the owl hotel though. Will need to pay. Atmosphere: appropriately dimmed bulb pendants and modern without trying finishes. There is a warm to the space for sure. Friendly and quirky staff. Indoors there is a bar, banquette seating (see note below regarding banquette) and a covered patio. Wine: stunning and unique. They have many vintages but equally as many lovely alternates. Their cocktail list and zero proof list is also impressive. My house red Nebbiolo was very light but hit the spot. My partner loved his wine too. Our waitress gave great recommendations. Food: we weren't expecting plated meals but this restaurant does have a select few options. Olives- dusted with perhaps a mustard seed or light ground herb. Olives are olives but the dusting seemed unnecessary . Ham and cheese croquettes- fluffy soft fried balls with a hint of sweetness. More cheese forward but overall good. Pomme frit- truly the most delicious snack. The aioli was spoon worthy. Bistro steak - the steak itself was stunning with the buttery peppercorn sauce. The sides of pureed rutabaga and chopped apple didn't necessarily pair well with the steak itself but were good on their own. The rutabaga has a sweet earthiness to it but with the steak did not compliment. Staff- extraordinarily friendly and helpful Prices- consistent with the area. Snacks ranged from 8-$15 and plates were averaging around $30. Glasses of wine also ranged depending on your taste. Note to the owner (from an interior designer) The banquette seating seems to have been built with the intention of pillows or alternate seat cushions. There is a millwork return that intercepts your seat about 3" which is quite uncomfortable. With pillows or upper cushions this could be mitigated! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Had a lovely experience on the MP patio this evening. The covered patio is heated (although still a BIT chilly with how low the temps were outside tonight) and it was nice and quiet on a Sunday night. Also, the hot tea with a lovely, sweetened oat milk creamer made it even cozier! The dishes were excellent. Everything was prepared gluten free for us. We had the grilled Bok Choy, the pork belly (they oven roasted it for us rather than fry it), and the bistro steak medium rare. The standout for us was the shrimp congee that served as the base for the pork belly, we could've eaten 10 more of that dish. The steak was also SO tender. Will definitely return. We left full and felt the dishes were worth their price tag. We had 3 plates and shared them all between the 2 of us. Service was fast and friendly.

Madeira Park is a very wine-forward establishment. We came here for light bites and made a reservation for Sunday dinner, though we didn't really need it. We arrived 20 mins before our reservation time, but there were plenty of tables so they sat us right away. Service was great and always on point. I did not imbibe, but did order a Ghia spritz. My husband ordered red wine (forgot the first one, but his second was just their house red and it was great). They were super quick at bringing out wine that's for sure. My spritz was nice and refreshing. For food, we ordered a bunch of their small plates - meat and cheese charcuterie board, pommes frites and hummus. First off, their fries are THE BEST FRENCH FRIES ever. They were super nice and crispy and salty served with garlic aioli and ketchup - seriously, writing about them is making my mouth water. Hummus was super light and served with veggies (my favorite was the pickled radish and beets) and some grilled pita toasts. The charcuterie board was also lovely and was easily shareable. I wish the pieces of bread were toasted though. This is a wonderful place for light bites and wine. Their patio is definitely a must-go with nice weather.

I've only lived in ATL a few months, but this place is the best dinner spot we've had. It is on par with the restaurant quality you would get in bigger cities like SF or NYC. The inside is cozy & there's also a great patio outside. Once the weather starts getting cooler, it would be an awesome spot for an afternoon glass of wine. The wine list is great. The food was incredible. & the service was great as well! We will be frequenting Madeira Park!!

Enjoyed a beautiful summer dinner with friends at Madeira Park. Food is Mediterranean/small sharing plates style with something for everyone. Lovely som came and helped us pick a bottle(although the one we wanted was reported to be sold out so we had to choose a pricier option). Definitely make a reservation or you'll be waiting a long time. Didn't see much parking on the street but there may be lots nearby. It's a bit loud so best for a fun night out.

The food was fabulous. The service amazing and the ambiance chic urban bliss. You're never had Gnocchi like theirs-a dish to remember with made in house ricotta.

Good vibes at Madeira Park! Highly recommend reservations if you come on a weekend as it can get pretty crowded - and the patio fills up fast! From the hostess to our server and food runners - the service was excellent. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, answering all questions and ensuring we always had what we needed. They have a massive selection of wine, unique cocktails, and a rotating menu of food based on seasonality. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious!

Checked out this new place and had a nice time. The vibe inside is cool, a bit loud but that's okay. The booth side has a strip of wood in the back which makes sitting there just enough to be pretty bothersome. Started with the pick your own charcuterie. Very nice presentation, delicious deli meats, strong cheeses. I would've liked a bit of a walk through of what to expect with each one to better make my decisions. The pom frites were delish. The steak was cooked well but just okay. The gnocchi was tasty but a little soft. Also had some sort of veggies with a mustard sauce that was delish. Started with cocktails which were nicely done and unique. Switches to a bottle of wine. Service was fine. Very busy so I understand. All servers were nice and friendly. Seemed like there was enough support to make everything go smoothly. The timing of everything was very nice. They took our charcootie remains and replated them when our food came which was a nice touch. They also had a cool outside seating area. All in all we had a good time but I'm not sure anything was special enough for prioritizing a return.

The band Pure Soul delivered an incredible tribute to Frankie Beverly & Maze. Their performance was spot on--capturing not only the timeless sound and energy of the music, but also sharing the history behind Frankie Beverly, the band, and the songs that have touched generations. It truly felt like taking a wonderful trip back in time while celebrating the legacy of an iconic artist. The tickets started at $30, with brunch purchased separately. In my opinion, the entire experience was well worth the price of admission and the brunch. The quality of the live performance alone made it a memorable afternoon, and the brunch only added to the overall experience. City Winery's Atlanta brunch buffet is offered separately from the show ticket. The venue was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy great music, good food, and wonderful company. This wasn't my first visit to City Winery, and I can honestly say that every experience I've had here has been enjoyable. If you love classic soul music, great live performances, and a relaxing Sunday outing, I highly recommend attending one of the Pure Soul tribute brunches. I'll definitely be back!

I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Yum YUMMYY! I really…read moredon't know where to start but I absolutely love Buena Vida! I guess thats a great place :) location, Location, LOCATION! I admire that area of Buena Vida. All the entertainment is right there in front of you. You're just steps away from the belt line. If you like to people watch, this is for you! They have outdoor seating. A fire pit. Local spots that has live music and you can tend to hear from the patio. This is by far one of my favorite spots in the Ponce area. Let's start with the service. The service is absolutely amazing. I've never had an issue here. Got my food promptly. Always been helpful when conflicted on food options. The service here is 10 out of 10. Phemonenal customer Service, make you feel welcome. Feels like a small community of people, everyone I encoutered were super sweet from servers to bartenders. Treated me like family and I love establishments like that you can get my money ANY day! I'd like to highlight someone special: Alyssa is truly exceptional. She served as my bartender on my latest visit, and I can't say enough good things about her. I look forward to coming in whenever she's working. She's genuine, fun, and her positive energy is a gem. Turning to the cuisine, I have visited the establishment before, and the food is truly exceptional. Two standout appetizers are the Gambas al Ajillo and the garlic-forward, succulent shrimp; the accompanying bread is full of flavor and serves as an excellent introduction to the meal. The Patatas Bravas also deserve special mention--the garlic aioli, chef kiss. As a pescatarian, which is evident in many of my reviews, I cannot comment on the meat options. Nevertheless, there is a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes available. I sampled the Spanish grilled cheese with truffle and garlic aioli--being a fan of garlic, the generous use here was particularly appealing. This reinterpretation of a childhood favorite significantly elevated the dish. Another highlight was the scallops. Although the dish included corn (which I generally avoid), I found it delicious, nonetheless. The scallops were cooked to perfection and infused with rich flavors. The chef demonstrates considerable expertise in crafting these recipes, and I have no complaints regarding my dining experience. Now, a few of my favorite drinks--though everyone might not share the same tastes. When I visit a Spanish-style restaurant, I have my go-to options. One of my favorites is the passionfruit margarita; it's so delicious, it feels like you're on an island. Of course, my all-time favorite is the strawberry margarita--so good and flavorful. It has just the right balance of not too much lime, with a subtle hint of mint--who knew we needed that? Another top pick is the 'Dragon on Vacation.' I usually avoid spicy drinks, so I had the habanero removed, but it's still the perfect blend of dragon fruit flavor in a margarita--so good. I also love a good Paloma; I appreciate its little kick. Overall, I have no complaints about these drinks!

There was always someone yelling over another and we had to continuously ask someone to repeat themselves. They do half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays and that might've been the one thing I enjoyed. As for the food, it was also subpar. I ordered the CRISPY PIMENTON CHICKEN which was essentially a fried chicken with hot honey sauce and that was enjoyable. The caprese salad was good but my tomato's were a bit mushy. I also enjoyed a few of the potatoes brava as well but they weren't anything spectacular. My friends said the steak tasted burnt and needed less charring.
