From the two hosts at the front, the bar staff in the lounge, to Andy, our waiter, everything was flawless. Andy suggested our first two drinks and surprised us with a complimentary item since we were celebrating my job. He also gave us great advice on how to best utilize the menu, which we followed. The food was incredible, delicious, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. Andy was genuinely the absolute BEST. He recommended the perfect wine to pair with my steak, and I can't forget the suggestion for the truffle butter. My cousin and I had an unforgettable experience. You can park in the hourly lot right in front or do valet at the entrance for $25 (4-8 hours). I came here on a Thursday evening with 2 friends around 7pm and had no wait at all. They have a lovely bar outside of the dining room with amazing mixologists who can skillfully make you whatever you like. They even serve Uncle Nearest and make a lovely old fashioned with it. The service was IMPECCABLE. They started by giving us complimentary mini parmesan cracker sandwiches and bread. I had the mero grouper with broccoli. It was fantastic. I enjoyed every bite. Our amazing waitress recommended we have the lemon ricotta bomboloni and it did not disappoint. It was so perfectly sweet, delicious and light after a filling meal. The ambience was dark and moody in the best way. A five star experience all across the board. Our waitress even made impromptu reservations for us to head up to the Moonlight rooftop bar onsite afterwards. Came in for dinner and everything was fantastic! We started with the oysters, which were delicious, from Prince Edward Island. We also had the Barada and beef carpaccio which we're both very good. We shared a lobster pasta, and then each had a different fish dish as our entrée the halibut and Bronzino, which were both great. Pretty expensive considering the entrées are really just the protein and then you have to add an extra pasta to have a complete meal, but certainly worth it for a special occasion. Clayton was our server, and he did an excellent job of walking us thru the menu. I actually chose several of his recommendations. We started off with the burrata and yellowtail sashimi (my personal fav), then for main courses we had the branzino (10/10) and halibut with truffle Mac (5/10), Brussels (8/10), and roasted carrots (8/10). Italian Steakhouse Says It All - The Best of All Worlds Walked into IL Premio on a Monday night and was told there was an hour wait for a table, so I headed to the bar- fortunately, a seat was open. I started with one of my favorite Reposados by Herradura. For my Crudi, I ordered the Ricciola alla Puttanesca, what i thought was going to be a classic Italian seafood dish that traditionally features ricciola (Italian amberjack) in puttanesca sauce. The menu noted it was made with yellowtail, which piqued my curiosity. I expected the ricciola to be pan-seared or lightly grilled and finished with the sauce, or served with the sauce spooned over the top. To my surprise, the dish arrived as thinly sliced raw yellowtail, presented sashimi/crudo-style. Each slice was topped with a small amount of sauce infused with capers, Taggiasca olives, Calabrese chiles, and possibly sun-dried tomatoes, all classic puttanesca ingredients. Microgreens completed the presentation. This could be described as a "ricciola crudo with puttanesca-style garnish" rather than a traditional cooked ricciola alla puttanesca. Essentially, the chef uses the puttanesca flavor profile (capers, olives, chiles, tomato, oil) as a raw topping instead of cooking the fish in the sauce. While it's raw, it's a modern, crudo-style interpretation inspired by puttanesca flavors and I'm a fan. I'll order it again and again. For my Secondi, I had the Risotto ai Funghi, a classic Italian dish featuring creamy arborio rice with shiitake and hen-of-the-woods (maitake) mushrooms and a hint of lemon. Served piping hot, it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed another Reposado by Herradura. IL Premio is so much more than a steakhouse. The food is thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is refined, service by Janlan was excellent and it is a fitting restaurant for an outstanding hotel property. read more

The restaurant is beautiful and the servers were professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We were first served a small bite, which was cheesy/salty. Then we started with the delicious burrata, it was the perfect temperature and was nicely dressed with tomato eggplant caponata. It was light and the perfect starter. For our pasta selection we chose the most delicious red sauce pasta. We finished with the 18oz dry strip steak which was expertly cooked. You have to come here! Ambiance is 11/10. We came on a Monday night, so pretty quiet in the dining room, but not empty. And the bar was full when we first arrived. Right from the start, the service was incredible. Valet greeted me, shared instructions to get to the restaurant. The door was opened for me upon arrival to the front entrance. The hostess was warm & welcoming, telling my guest happy birthday from the start. Our server Clayton was incredible. I learned very early to trust his suggestions!! The Cosa Sta'Mangiando cocktail was recommended by Clayton and was INCREDIBLE. We each had 2 rounds! I am not sure what the little Parmesan crisp starter dish he brought out was called, but absolutely delicious ! Between us, we share the buratta, risotto, frites, carrots & macaroni (which has a fancier name on the menu). All absolutely incredible, especially the macaroni. I am such a fan of the Forth Hotel's other restaurants so I was super excited to finally try Il Premio! I made a reservation for a Friday night and I definitely recommend to do so. When we checked in they gave us the option to sit in the bar lounge to begin with drinks and we happily went along. The lounge is BEAUTIFUL. The ambiance is simply divine. Live piano music and a gorgeously decorated area. After we enjoyed the lounge we made our way to the table. Overall the dining experience was amazing, but I really loved that lounge! The food was all pretty average, and extremely expensive. So if I come back I will probably make it a lounge/bar spot no food. The branzino was okay and the Brussels sprouts were also okay. They require your entire table to order all courses before they'll begin serving so we probably waited longer than anticipated to eat but all good. We enjoyed the burrata and octopus to start. I came on a Sunday evening for dinner. My friend started at the bar until I arrived. I joined her there and then went to check with the hostess for our table for 2. We were taken to the main dining room to a very awkwardly situated table between the kitchen, the computer where waiters put in orders and a large party of 12 or so. Our table was clearly just crammed there and was not a comfortable location so we were granted our request to move. Our new table was much more suitable and our new waiter Darryl was awesome. He explained the menu well and gave great suggestions. We were offered a complimentary amuse Bouche that quite honestly tasted like packaged cheese and crackers. We started with the sea bass crudo. It was very small and my friend liked it more than I did. I had the Mero for my main course. It was not hot, there was only one piece of whole butternut squash and the rest was a puréed for some reason. Then it was topped with a thick sauces which was also cold and rather flavorful less but the fish and mushrooms were good. The Mac and cheese was very good and my friend enjoyed her steak. She had her steak and Mac sent to the kitchen to be boxed up and they never brought it back. It was my friend's birthday so they gave a complimentary chocolate cake and digestif. That was a nice touch. Over all service was was great food was not. They do have reasonably priced and higher end items but overall missed the mark for me. read more

This restaurant is inside of Forth Hotel and is less than a year old. I sat in the lounge because I didn't have a reservation. They have a nice whiskey selection. I was able to try Sir Davis for the first time. The bartender provided me with complementary bread to try since it was my first visit. The flavor was good but I had to refrain from breaking my diet. Friday at 6pm Took clients here for dinner . As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed by the gracious hosts and seated immediately. Behind the curtain is a well decorated gorgeous bar filled with plush chairs , paintings perfect for a pre or post dinner drink and even for a light meal ( less casual feel than the main dining room ). We got seated in a corner booth in the main dining room, which was perfect and served by a knowledgeable and attentive staff who guided us in the ordering process ( how big are the dishes , the spacing of the course). We had the perfect amount of food as result , started with some tuna and yellowtail crudo, delicious steak tartare ( highly recommended) for antipasto , agnilotti ( my favorite ), bucatinni pastas, followed by steak and fish as our main. The drink / cocktail selection was a perfect complement to the dishes from the martini , to the rose bubbles and the bottle of Sangiovese ( red wine ) . We didn't have room for dessert which gives me an excuse to try them out on my next visit. I really enjoyed the feel , vibe of the restaurant and appreciate the modern decor and the concept ( Italian courses ) . We were a little unsure at first because Il Premio had a surprising number of open tables for a Saturday night when we booked at 7:00 PM. But to our relief, it filled up quickly. The restaurant is on the ground floor of the newly opened Fourth Hotel, a striking 16-story property just behind Ponce City Market that opened in September 2024. The development is incredible, and we're so glad something like this is finally nearby. The decor at the Fourth Hotel is... eclectic, to say the least. It's as if someone said yes to every design style. Adobe, art deco, mid-century modern, industrial, Mecca-inspired touches. There's even a large display window featuring several stuffed foxes. Super weird. But thankfully, the restaurant itself has a fantastic, white-table cloth, stylish vibe that feels upscale without being stuffy. Now, on to the experience. My spouse and I had an amazing date night, starting with cocktails at the Premio Bar. The drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed but refined. Big shout out to the super cool bartender (we wish we had caught her name). She not only mixed excellent cocktails but also tipped us off about the Moonlight Rooftop, which we'll definitely check out next time. Dinner at Il Premio was truly spectacular. The Bolognese pasta starter was one of the best we've ever had, with deep, rich flavor and a beautiful presentation. Only downside was they were VERY VERY selfish with the portion! We were also surprised with Parmesan crackers filled with a creamy Parmesan cheese paste. They were seriously addictive and so unique. For the main courses, I had the swordfish with roasted peas, asparagus, and mushrooms. It was sensational, flaky, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My spouse ordered the breaded pork chop with an apple and lemon salad. The lemon dressing was initially overpowering, but our attentive server immediately brought out a simpler replacement. The pork chop itself was huge and cooked to perfection. We ended the night with a complimentary chocolate tiramisu, a thoughtful touch from our server in celebration of our anniversary. It was rich, light, and the perfect sweet finish. From the chandeliers and baby grand piano to the excellent food and warm service, Il Premio is absolutely a new go-to for date nights and special occasions. Just opened 3 weeks ago and yet they have ZERO flaws. Came here to celebrate a birthday dinner and they gave us exactly what we wanted in a steakhouse experience. Shane was our server and he knew the menu inside and out. He made our night an experience, not just a dinner. The restaurant is also beautifully moody. I love the open kitchen concept. For starters, their complimentary bread is nothing extraordinary but I wouldn't fill up on that. The burrata was smooth and velvety - the accoutrements that come with it perfectly balance out the lusciousness of the cheese. The bread it comes with is exceptionally crispy and pairs well. The Miyazaki Wagyu was worth every penny. It was meat butter. All the tenderness of a filet but with the flavor of a ribeye. The bistecca was huge and seasoned well. The dry age gave it more flavor than funk which I appreciated. Charred on the outside but delicately soft on the inside. Somehow the onions are a sleeper hit - super soft yet had a depth of concentrated onion flavor. The king crab pasta was a pass for us only hecause uni is not currently in season and you could tell. They were very receptive to feedback though and it is highly subjective so I didn't dock anything for that. The ragu pasta was intensely meat forward but in a good way. It gave the sauce body. Pasta was perfectly al dente. The parate is a mix between mashed potatoes with the addition of oil, but had the structural integrity of a baked potato. I will be trying to recreate this at home for sure as it's a perfect potato side. It was rich without losing the taste of the potato itself. The mushroom polenta was creamy and full of umami thanks to the mushroom ragu. Their drinks are expertly crafted - the espresso martini had a bright citrus note and they do freshly brew the coffee for it. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend for special events, celebrations, or if you just really want an out of the world steak. read more

Our table was well taken care of. I started at the bar with an old fashioned and moved to the main dining room after her arrival. Our starters included oysters, an order of the polpo (delicious), and the grilled gem lettuces. Before our entrees, we had the tagliolini and a special order of cacio e pepe (my daughter's favorite). For our meals we had the Branzino and the filet, with the broccolini and campanelle gratinata to share. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Made a reservation for our LT Holiday party for dinner along with a stay at the Forth Hotel. The dinner started with a requested champagne cheers, great cocktails and our first course (which was the best) the steak tartare was out of this world great. Unfortunately as the restaurant got crowded the service got really slow. The dinner ended up taking nearly 4 hours. I would return for the food and cocktails, but not with a larger group. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time and chose it as the place to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. I don't usually write bad reviews, but this was just awful. For such a beautiful restaurant, it's a shame that both the service and food were so underwhelming. The staff knew from my reservation--and from me telling the waitress--that it was my birthday. They even mentioned they would do something "special," but nothing ever happened. The waitress seemed more focused on upselling than providing good service. When I didn't order a five-course meal (which I simply can't eat that much), she seemed visibly annoyed. The food itself was overpriced and mediocre at best, which was a huge letdown given the restaurant's upscale ambiance. To top it all off, at the end of the meal, the waitress just handed me the check--no acknowledgment of my birthday whatsoever. For a place that presents itself as a high-end dining experience, the lack of hospitality was shocking. Maybe the bar has better service, but I definitely wouldn't come back to dine here. There are so many fantastic Italian restaurants in Atlanta--sadly, this isn't one of them. read more
