We went to Brunch on Mother's Day and due to a lack of availability, we went to Two Urban Licks, which still had quite a few openings. We had never been to the restaurant. There were 3 of us - we ordered two Mushroom Quiche, Country Fried Steak Biscuit, and an order of Banana Bread French Toast for all to share. The Mushroom Quiche was average - it was small, the baked egg custard with the mushrooms tasted fine, however, the pastry was thick and soggy - I ate the custard, but left most of the pastry shell. The Country Fried Streak, looked so appetizing, unfortunately, it was very difficult to eat - the fried coating was not crispy, but had a 'hard crunch', and the steak was chewy and tough. My partner left most of it on the plate. Last, the Banana Bread French Toast we shared. It tasted good - we had the strawberry compote and the whipped cream on the side. While the banana bread tasted fine, it was also too moist - or soggy. Overall, a very disappointing Mother's Day Brunch.

I came here for Saturday brunch and it was a great time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is huge and has outdoor and indoor seating and a bar area as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was solid, we ordered the shrimp appetizer which was delicious and cooked perfectly. The spicy Caesar salad was a good accompaniment to the other dishes. The collard greens were big and had a lot of meat in it which was good. The highlight was the fried jerk chicken sandwich - it was very creative and included plantains inside the sandwich which was a nice sweet touch to really elevate the flavors. Can't forget the huge mimosa! It was a great brunch overall and I would definitely come back again.

Two Urban Licks absolutely lived up to the hype. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment we sat down, the energy, service, and food were on point.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything we ordered was flavorful and thoughtfully plated, but quick heads-up for my fellow texture-sensitive diners: the braised beef leans very soft and shredded, so it may not be your favorite if texture matters to you. In that case, I'd strongly recommend the chicken or the trout--both were beautifully cooked and full of flavor. That said, this spot is top tier. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes are immaculate, the drinks are fun, and the menu has enough range that everyone at the table can find a win.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm already planning my return for the salmon chips, which I clearly should've ordered the first time. Verdict: worth the visit, worth the repeat, and definitely a go-to when I'm in Atlanta again.

Came here for girls night and was not disappointed. We had reservations and were immediately seated. I think the server duo was Cam and another guy. They were good and attentive. The food was amazing. We had no complaints. From the salmon chips to the dessert. My only issue is self parking can be better.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance of this restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a band playing on Saturday, cozy intimate ambiance and great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the empanadas, salmon chips and muscles and I liked them all. I will say that I wasn't impressed by the actual dinner menu , not many selections. Also, 1 of the salmon chips tasted burnt .

I haven't been here in yearssss! But the Smoked Salmon Chips are still one of the best items on the menu! I sat near the bar and listened to the live band while I waited for the rest of my party to arrive. Once they did, we were seated. And the bartender assisted me with taking my food and drinks to the table. Our table had a lot going on! Thank goodness our waiter was patient! I forgot the dish that I had for the night but it was good. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks and I was reminded of this hidden gem!

I had a wonderful experience here this evening. I loved the vibrant atmosphere of Two Urbn Licks. The decor was very tasteful too. Although the noise level was high, I was happy to hear live music playing in the background. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered to answer any questions we may have had explaining the menu. I was with a party of four, and our service was wonderful. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and the collards. I enjoyed the flavor of the rotisserie chicken it was very juicy and tender. I loved that you can see the chicken as it's cooking on the rotisserie. I enjoyed the Saturday night vibes. This place has nice size patio seating too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool, trendy place with good food, solid service and a fun vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our party started with some cocktails - the list is solid if short - and the salmon chips which are great. I had the blackened red fish gumbo and it was excellent - loved it. My wife had the Mushroom Parmesan and thought it was good, but liked the red fish better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool spot on the beltline.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can valet or self park - typically spaces available for that.

Came here a few weeks ago with a group. The old fashioned esque drink was very good. Salmon chips hit like usual and the service was stellar. This is one of my fave restaurants in the city.

Top tier. Food was great and service was attentive and on point. I come from the Seattle area and do a fair bit of nicer dining... prices were very reasonable in my opinion. Great ambience. Everything was good but the collared greens were extra special, as was the braised bison ribs - the special of the evening. It's a pleasantly loud environment. Live music and the hustle and bustle of an open floor plan & kitchen. You won't be whispering in hushed tones over candlelight here. It's just the vibe... and it works. I really could not have been more pleased with my meal and the service. Everyone in our party of 8 felt the same. As Arnold says .... "I'LL BE BAAAACK"

It's been a long time since I've eaten here and it did not disappoint at all! It was should a great fellowship with my family for my sister's graduation. We ate good, laughed, and had great conversation over some GREAT food! Whoever is the current lead chief in the kitchen is going a great job. Everything was well seasoned and presented very nice. My 2 all time favorites will always be the salmon chips and the calamari for my appetizers. For my entire I ordered the blackened salmon and it was also very delicious. I will say I was very underwhelmed by the Mac and cheese side. It wasn't anything exciting taste wise. But all and all everything was great. The ambiance was really nice as well. It was too hot to sit outside however we were able to sit by the window so that we had a great view of the outside while enjoying the are conditioning inside. lol

We were refused to be seated as a walk in at 8pm, when half the restaurant was empty tables. Terrible business strategy

They have valet. Just pull up to the restaurant and they will take it from there

    Bar/counter seating for solo diners?

Absolutely! If you're going on the weekend, get there early. It's a cozy bar.

Is this a good spot for a group birthday dinner? we are going to be dressed up.

Yes! Nice atmosphere and live music some nights. You’ll see a good mix of those that are dressed up and smart casual.

    Access to Parking?

Complimentary Valet is offered to all guest

Did the Happy Hour restart here? If so-what days/times and what specials?! Thank you!

For brunch do they have Unlimited Mimosas?

No we bought by the pitcher

    It is 420 friendly?

    Lol unfortunately no

Is there happy hour? What are the specials?

Yes, they do have happy hour.

Is the live music overpowering, or will I be able to visit with my table during a show or maybe ask to be seated slightly away from the band?

We were actually sitting pretty close to the band and could still talk somewhat. I did not find it overpowering. It's a huge restaurant so it would be easy to sit farther away. Just request such when making a reservation.

What the bar situation? I've only been here once with a table reservation & it was crazy busy. Do you think I could walk in and have a seat at the bar say at 7 or 8 on a Thursday night?

We have over 20 bar seats and 5 cocktail tables which are all first come first serve. We have lots of room so you should be able to find a good spot! Thanks

Do they have a kid friendly menu?

    Not kid friendly.

Are bands lined up during the week? Im traveling to Atlanta next week! Thanks

How much is dinner for two usually?

    At least 50 without drinks.

    Do they have vegan options?

    Yes

What is the attire like here?

Like most places in Atlanta casual is okay, but most people here are dressed up at least a little. I wouldn't feel comfortable in athletic wear.

How are the vegetarian options at brunch?

Most items can be made vegetarian. Very limited vegan options. Mostly green beans, artichoke, squash.

    Do they have happy hour?

No, probably not...according to their menu paper they don’t have any happy hour discounts...

Is this someplace I could bring my kids, ages 9 and 13?

You in theory could but I wouldn't suggest it. Besides being pricey it's dark and very swanky. Just don't see kids enjoying it.

They hold a jazz night every Tuesday with live music for a nice chill, yet fun, vibe. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!

The wings were all well seasoned, and even the dry rub wings didn't taste dry. It tasted tender and juicy and I've never experienced that before with dry rub wings. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings, buffalo wings, and Korean bbq buffalo wings and a side of fries. Our favorite was the buffalo wings. It had the right balance of juiciness and flavor. I wouldn't recommend the Korean bbq wings since it didn't have enough tangyness to it and didn't stand out. The French fries are a must order. The fries were so crunchy, and they were still crunchy even towards the end when we were almost finished eating. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Friday and there were already people waiting in the lot which was crazy! It started raining while we were waiting in line and the line got even longer. If you're planning to try The Local, I would recommend coming on a regular weekday or come earlier if you're coming on the weekend because the line is crazy. There is some seating inside and outside the bar. We got there early enough to swipe a table. There were people standing and waiting for a table while waiting for their orders. Service was excellent! We arrived there exactly at 5 PM, when it opens, but there was already a pretty extensive line. A little outside the entrance, they check your ID, which I had no idea was a thing. So make sure you have your IDs with you and are 21+. There's a bar area for drinks and a separate counter where you will order and pay for your food. (They make it pretty explicit that you can't get wings to-go.) Find a seat, and once your food is ready, they'll announce your name, and you pick up your food from the window. FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. TLDR// I don't think I had the greatest wings of all time here, but the vibes were really casual and pleasant. I'm glad I was able to try a place so beloved by locals.
