Rating: (3/5) If you're craving something light, fast, and fresh while bouncing around Atlanta, Gusto! offers exactly that--and clearly has a loyal following to prove it. First Impressions & Ambiance: This place feels like the lovechild of fast-casual dining and wellness culture. Bright colors, clean branding, and a vibrant outdoor patio make it feel less like a fast food stop and more like a lifestyle hangout. There's definitely a cool, health-conscious vibe here--perfect for grabbing a quick bite or kicking back outside with some sunshine and good conversation. Service & Staff: The staff was attentive and polite, even with a rush happening. They greeted us with smiles and kept the line moving as efficiently as they could. You could tell they cared about keeping things smooth under pressure. Food & Drinks: I ordered the Tahini Cucumber Feta bowl with brown rice, grilled shrimp, and avocado, plus some ZenWTR to wash it down. The flavors were clean and balanced--not overly seasoned but not bland either. The tahini dressing was the standout, tying the whole bowl together nicely. And I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan feta--a thoughtful touch for those seeking plant-based options. Wait Time & Efficiency: The wait was a bit longer than expected, but to be fair, a whole softball team was in line ahead of us. Once we ordered, the food came out promptly. Gusto! handled the rush pretty well overall. Menu Variety & Dietary Options: This is where Gusto! shines. They clearly put thought into accommodating all kinds of dietary needs--vegan, gluten-free, low-carb, and more. With custom bowls, wraps, and add-ons, you can really make your meal your own. Price & Value: Considering the fresh ingredients and portion size, the value was solid. It felt like a fair trade-off for the price. I left satisfied but not sluggish, which is exactly what I wanted. Pros & Cons: Pros: * Clean, fresh ingredients * Outdoor seating and modern vibe * Great for dietary restrictions * Friendly staff Cons: * Wait time can spike with large groups * Food is good but not necessarily crave-worthy * Limited "wow factor" compared to other fast-casual options in this genre Final Thoughts: Gusto! delivers what it promises--fresh flavor fast. It hit the spot and quieted my hunger pains, but didn't quite leave a lasting impression. Still, I'd recommend it if you're nearby and want something light and customizable. Just don't be surprised if it doesn't blow you away.

This was an interesting place located near my Airbnb. I was staying in the area and wanted to take a break from ordering from the expensive Ponce Market. I already stopped by the Chipotle and Starbucks so I wanted to give Gusto a try. There were several great reviews so I went over. At first glance it seems to be very similar to Chipotle but more of a healthy variety. The restaurant is very nice and has lots of seating. They have great options such as Chipotle Mango Avocado, Sweet Soy Siracha, and Tahini Cucumber Feta. You can pick your base which is rice or a salad with your choice of protein. I ordered the Chipotle Mango Avocado with rice and salad. I wanted something sweet but not too spicy. It was a large bowl and was very filling. The rice was very tasty. They put a good portion of avocado as well which was great. I ate it all right away. I definitely want to come back here and try the other flavors as well.

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! I rarely give 5 stars unless I'm really amazed, and I'm amazed! This place was sooo good. I'm middle eastern and have had plenty of Mediterranean food, but this place was so simple and filled with flavor. And wasn't expensive at all. I got the tahini cucumber feta and my husband got the tzatziki lemon with grilled chicken and both were delicious! I can eat here everyday that's how much I enjoyed it! And the sweet potato chips were soooooo tasty! I loved them! Parking was kind of tight but easy if you're just picking up to go

Just in town for the weekend for a project and we ordered Gusto! delivery. I only got the Chile Sesame BBQ, but man was it good!! Perfect lunch portion with the rice & greens as a base. Love these crispy sweet potato chips too! Only docking a star for not sending enough forks and not a single napkin in our large order.

After an evening of drinking I was hungry and tried to figure out something healthy close by on Ponce. I came on Yelp and saw that Gusto was less than a half a mile away and open for another hour. I was surprised to find that Gusto was a chain restaurant with several locations in Atlanta. Located in N Highlands off of busy Ponce Ave with a parking lot with plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. When you walk in the menu is there on the wall and you can choose between greens, brown rice, half & half or a flat bread then you choose from the pre-set menu. I ordered the half & half Chipotle Mango Avocado. Smoky chipotle cream sauce with an avocado, mango, black bean, and corn salad tossed in a cilantro lime dressing, and topped with Jack cheese. I added the baby Bella mushrooms. Comes with sweet potato chips. It was pretty good I was hoping the Chipotle sauce would have been a little spicy but all and all good and the freshly made sweet potato chips hit the spot. I will be back.

I love Gusto's, I truly do. So I was happy to visit the new location on Ponce. They gave a good serving so I could eat my meal as two separate meals. I also really like the outdoor patio situation they have.

My biggest personality trait is only eating salads when someone else makes it and it costs me more money But no regrets from this spot - the salads always taste fresh and flavorful and don't make you feel like you're eating rabbit food!

If you love a good healthy bowl this is the place to go!!! I'm always searching for a good protein bowl. The ambience feels bright and welcoming. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I really loved how they have mouthwash in the bathroom. Definitely helps for a lunch date. I ordered the chipotle mango avocado with brown rice and spicy chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly and the spicy chicken was mouthwatering. Every meal comes with sweet potato chips. I also ordered a mango lemonade which was amazing. Every sip I was saying mmm. Lol. If you are on the beltline this is a great place to stop by and eat.

After a day of traveling, I was craving a nice light and refresh salad. Luckily gusto was just a couple of blocks from where I was staying. While it's a fast food type salad spot, the menu offers a great variety of healthy options. The outside area was perfect too for enjoying the warm weather night. Each order also comes with these delicious homemade sweet potato chips. Light, crispy and yummy! I was also super thrilled to try the CBD sparkling water from a Wisconsin owned spot. Made me feel right at home.

We came here for a birthday dinner celebration and we met with great customer service and a lovely atmosphere. There was a jazz trio performing, and the ambience of the restaurant was great. We were seated in an area that had a lot of traffic so some of us were bumped multiple times by servers, food going over our heads, people swinging their jackets, it just seemed as if the tables were a bit too close together. The food. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, the fried green tomatoes, and the pork belly. All of these were delicious, though we did feel like the tomatoes could've been a little crispy. The Carolina gold sauce on the pork belly was a nice tangy combination with the protein, and the shrimp had a surprisingly good sauce. The issue that we fell into with two urban licks were the mains ... We felt that the rotisserie chicken was a bit dry, and flavor was confusing as it was presenting as tandoori, but had an underlying flavor we just couldn't get into. The market fish on the menu for the day was a red snapper, and it didn't come with any sides, but it seemed like the fish was simply fried in the oil and it didn't have any seasoning or underlying flavor which we were disappointed in. The Hawaiian wahoo fish was a bit overcooked, and the "jerk" short ribs leaned more habanero salsa in the taste. The coconut rice and peas that went along with it was also dry, without coconut taste, and missed the mark for us. We are Caribbean and this was a disappointment to experience. The description on the page oversold it just a bit. We were able to call the manager, and they removed the chicken dish from our bill and took half of the final price of the short rib from our bill as well, and that was appreciated! Looking around the restaurant, it seemed like everyone was enjoying their meal, though we could never know what conversations were being had at those tables, and it just seems like this restaurant was not for us personally! Great service, but due to the food, we don't plan to return

We then moved into the dining area where we had four tables next to each other. The lounge area has festive decor and our server did a great job taking care of my group before we arrived. The dining area has a more subdued decor. There were other groups celebrating and we still felt like we had a room to ourselves. Once seated, service was also excellent. They had several staff dedicated to us. Water, apps and wine service was quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I had many compliments on both the food and wine. For starters we had Tuna Tartare Chips and greens (salad). Both were excellent. For mains we had the salmon and roast chicken. Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes for sides. Finally cheesecake bites for dessert. We served their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir with the meal. Everything went perfectly. Just the right amount of food and wine. (7 bottles for our 20). Their contract is written in a way that makes you think you might be rushed. But that was not the case in practice. We had plenty of time to meet and greet at the lounge before being seated. And plenty of time at the tables. We felt we received an excellent value for our dollar. Highly recommended for a special event. I'd been seeing Staplehouse all over Instagram and hearing about their Michelin Guide recognition,…read moreso I was excited to finally give it a try. As somebody who genuinely loves food and especially Italian sandwiches, I ordered the Italian Grinder for pickup. Now, a little context. I'm a newer parent, and that day I was dressed casually sweats, hoodie, hat, just running around handling life. Nothing crazy. I only mention that because when I went in to pick up my order, the interaction left me uncomfortable. Two employees greeted me, and after I confirmed my name for the pickup, one of them held onto the bag tightly and asked me again if I was sure the order was mine, joking about making sure I wasn't stealing it. I laughed it off in the moment, but honestly, I couldn't fully tell if it was meant as a joke or not. And to be fair, I don't want to assume malicious intent or act like I know what was in that person's heart. But I also have to be honest about how it felt. I genuinely don't believe that same joke or comment would've been made to somebody who looked less "threatening," older, or dressed differently than me. Whether intentional or unconscious, moments like that stick with people. I'm a father, a dancer, a creative, and somebody who tries to greet people warmly and respectfully wherever I go. So walking out of there, I just felt a little judged instead of welcomed. The sandwich itself? Solid. Definitely good food. I'd give the grinder a 4 out of 5. But food is also tied to experience, and unfortunately the interaction took away from it for me. I don't think I'll be going back, but I do hope this feedback is received with understanding and not defensiveness, because perception and hospitality matter too.

I only found out when I got the bill. When I questioned it, she basically said she couldn't control the system. My issue isn't even the $3. If you're out of the side that comes with the meal, customers shouldn't have to pay extra for a replacement. And I definitely don't appreciate surprise charges on my bill. I had my child with me, so I wasn't about to go back and forth over $3. I paid it and kept it moving. Another surprise was that they don't offer free water. If you want water, you have to buy a bottle. Between paying for parking, paying for bottled water, and no drink refills, the little charges started adding up. I felt "nickled and dimed." The music couldn't decide what vibe it wanted. One minute we could talk normally, and the next minute we were basically at a concert. There was also a leak in the ceiling, and near the restrooms there was a smell that reminded me of old wet towels. On the positive side, the host was amazing. He was super personable and welcoming. They also turn those tables over FAST. By the time we paid, our dishes were gone and the table was already cleaned and ready for the next group. The food is what saved this review.
