I walked in and was met with zero hospitality--no smiles, no greeting, just employees standing around looking disengaged. When I got to the register, the cashier (who was on her phone) gave off the same energy. I ordered the exact same thing as my first visit, hoping for a repeat experience, but the process felt disorganized again. It seems like either the system or the training makes it hard for them to smoothly take orders. I received my food as takeout without even being asked if I was dining in. I sat down and noticed my sauce was missing. I went back up, politely asked for two sauces, and instead of just resolving it, the employee immediately started debating me about "sauce counts." I explained that on my previous visit I was given sauce with my meal--I wasn't asking for anything extra, just consistency. Instead, it turned into a moment where she felt the need to "educate" me. I've been to this location multiple times in the last few years and it is trending down. Please believe all the reviews that mention the cold and rude service from the employees. They do not speak to you at all unless you hunt them down. The last 3 times I have been in I've watched employees giggling together instead of helping customers or preparing meals. I had high hopes for Gusto and it was OK. Being able to customize a salad bowl is always appreciated. But the options seemed really limited compared with other similar restaurants. The portions were on the small side and between the three of us our salads contained 1.5 grape tomatoes. I always enjoy the food no matter what Gusto's I go to. Unfortunately, this review is not about the flavorful bowls/wraps you can enjoy at this restaurant. I've been to this location in particular 5 times this year (due to its proximity to my home) and each time I'm met with unfriendly service, bad attitudes, and lazy effort. On this most recent and probably my last visit to this location, when I walked in to the restaurant, all 4 of the staff members were on their phones and didn't look up to acknowledge I'd entered into the space. I was the only customer at the time and when I went to the counter to order, I was urged (very rudely might I add) to just order on the large kiosk right beside the cash register, which I presume was due to the fact that none of the employees wanted to stop what they were doing. Once I placed my order and went to the counter to confirm they'd received it, the employee told me to have a seat until my order was ready. By this time a few more customers had arrived. I sat and waited for 20 minutes (while other customers were served, tended to and walked out with their food) until I decided to ask the cash register if my order had been prepared. The young lady told me she couldn't find my order in the system and didn't see my name populating anywhere. When I showed her my email confirmation she went and got her manager who also couldn't seem to find my order. Eventually, they decided to just retake my order on the register which would've made the most sense to do in the beginning to prevent all of this. After another 15 minutes or so of waiting after my ordered been taken totaling around 40 minutes of time from when I walked through the door, I finally received my food. The manager on staff was kind enough to issue me a refund which I appreciated, however the service and overall experience definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I still really enjoy Gustos and I don't fault their organization for this behavior, however this establishment particularly has very poor service. read more

In the middle of the work day, if I need a pick me up, I just order lunch at Gusto and they greet me like they've been waiting for me to walk in. It's the kindest and best service ever. My online order is always ready and waiting on me and it's ALWAYS correct. I've tried the chicken and the tofu and both are great. My favorite salads are the sweet soy sriracha and the Polynesian Chili Mango. I love their bbq sweet potato chips. They are located on the left side of the Lee and white food hall. Plenty of parking.
