Sweater Weather (top) and Curry Up (bottom)
    Ashlynn K.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! There's free parking available outside the building, which is a plus. Line was a bit long, but we went during peak lunch hours and still only waited about 15-20 minutes. We got the Sweater Weather and Curry Up bowls and both were DELICIOUS. Everything was super fresh and bursting with flavor. Definitely will be coming back here for a hearty and fulfilling option. Everyone was kind and the inside was clean.

wish I could say aloha to some macadamia nuts. there was like one macadamia nut in my meal. without them the whole texture is off. blegh. very disappointed after spending so much

Wow. I didn't intend to come here, but after some issues at a different restaurant, I placed a pickup order. The food was absolutely delicious, and so was the smoothie. It's rare to find a good vegan place. Especially one with clean ingredients, and no gluten. I'll be back in the future for sure, and next time I'll sit down inside and enjoy the atmosphere!

They have one employee making bowls with a line full of people. Line hasn't moved in 10 minutes.

While the bowls are pricey, they are good and consistent. Rarely do I have issues with incorrect orders or the location being out of inventory. My issue is the wait time for in-person orders. They prioritize online orders and will completely ignore customers standing in line on site. Last time I dined here, there were several employees (sweeping floors, making online orders, etc.) but only one employees that was assigned to making orders for a line full of customers standing in line. I waited at MINIMUM 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged me and I was 3rd in line. Not necessarily ideal when I'm about to spend $20 on lunch.

Be sure not to walk in here 5 to 10 minutes before they close and just so you know that their hours on their door are not correct! They had a customer walk out telling us that they were rude to them and then they were rude to us. Looks like a great restaurant would've loved to try it.!

I've been coming to Upbeet for years and it never disappoints!! I hadn't been in a minute, so I got to check out the new redesign on my latest visit for lunch with my family. The interior looks super sleek and modern. There a now a lot more premade options on the menu as well. I usually make my own, but this time I got the Pesto Manifesto which has chicken, spinach, quinoa, roasted broccoli, corn, cherry tomatoes, and a homemade pesto vinaigrette. I also love that they now serve Poppi! The staff was also great and helpful with walking my parents through the options since it was their first time. As usual, everything was delicious!! Will be returning for years!!

My order had tomatoes. I specifically stated no pico and asked if I could have onions. I even stated that I cannot have the tomatoes. NOT happy!

Now I do have to say I am a major sweetgreen fan so I was hopeful for Upbeet! We did pickup on a Tuesday evening around 7ish after ordering online which made it super easy! I built my own bowl online with a romaine base, added rice, chicken, pickled onions, tortilla chips, lime squeeze, mushrooms and bell peppers with ranch as my dressing of choice!! The mushrooms were an absolute treat in the bowl and I loved their flavor!! Overall the bowl was great and next time I would love to try another kind of dressing. Places like these can definitely seem pricey but I always feel like they are worth it because I can never get it to taste the same if I make it at home!! It's a massive broke that could definitely be split into to 2 servings so gotta love if!

Guac It Out with Shrimp, Charcoal Lemonade
    Tracey P.

I haven't been to this spot in a long time. I told a friend about it, she went and loved it. She's been talking about it for a while, so I decided to take the drive to visit again today. I got my usual, the Guac it Out bowl. I substituted the chicken for shrimp. I got extra dressing and they mixed everything together. It was fresh and delicious! Make sure you try the charcoal lemonade, it's good.

Busy, but smoothies came out very quickly. They were also delicious! Super smooth and creamy. Usually green smoothies have chunky pieces but this was very well blended. We only tried the smoothies but the ambiance was super cute. Would love to try more next time!

Chopt meets CAVA. This place is the best option if you're looking for fast and truly fresh dishes. The restaurant has cool chill vibes and is always clean. Staff smiles and delivers nice portions. They have salmon! Something CAVA and CHOPT do not. The cayenne tumeric lemonade drink is soooo good. I'll continue to patronize this amazing place!

    Half Eaten The Bachelor
    Ashley L.

UpBeet certainly has an upbeat vibe with great bowls, salads, and boxes. My personal favorite grain bowl is The Bachelor--and the great thing is that you don't have to be a bachelor to get it! It consists of mushrooms, beef, rice, tomatoes, broccoli, onion, basil and a delicious pesto sauce. I love this bowl because it is consistently good. I love this bowl so much that I couldn't wait to start eating before I realized I didn't take a picture. The picture reflects a half eaten bowl!

My favorite dish was definitely the jambalaya. The jambalaya was great for tasting all the meats. The Mac n cheese was so cheesy and fresh. My favorite meat however was definitely the sausage, however all the plates had some version with sausage. The employees were so kind and helpful and had great southern hospitality. We're fans of other healthy bowl places like Upbeet (just across the street) and gusto! The bowls/plates we had this past Monday at sweetgreen were better than what we've had over the past year from both Upbeet and gusto! I didn't expect that from sweetgreen, which is a nationwide chain with over 240 locations. In comparison, Upbeet has only two locations (Atlanta and Nashville) and gusto! is a local chain with 12 Atlanta-area locations. At this location, sweetgreen validates parking in the attached garage (behind the restaurant) for one hour. Enter the garage via Brady Ave NW. There are two entry points. From the garage, there's a breezeway with direct access to sweetgreen and Howell Mill Rd. Take your parking ticket with you so the staff can put a validation sticker on it. My wife and I dined in and had the following for dinner: * Miso Glazed Salmon ($15.95) - miso-glazed salmon, avocado, cucumbers, pickled onions, crispy onions, white rice, nori sesame seasoning and spicy cashew * Hot Honey Chicken ($14.95) - blackened chicken, warm roasted sweet potatoes, veg slaw, crispy onions, herbed quinoa, and hot honey mustard sauce plus kale * Ripple Fries + Pickle Ketchup ($4.55) - freshly cut potatoes, air-fried in avocado oil and seasoned with sea salt and herbs Jendaya prepared our order and rang us up. Not only were our bowls delicious, but she plated and presented them beautifully. My wife had a question or two since it was our first time. Jendaya was nice when answering them and explaining things. Wonderful service from her. Overall, we were impressed with how tasty and satisfying the bowls were. The ingredient combinations were really flavorful. Everything was so fresh and yummy that it didn't taste like we were eating healthy food. I was most impressed with the salmon, which was soft, moist, and quite appetizing. If only all fast-casual restaurant salmon could be this good. My wife added kale to the Hot Honey Chicken, at no extra charge. You can create custom plates/bowls/salads from scratch or you can modify existing ones on the menu. One plate and fries filled me up for dinner. My wife got full before finishing her plate. We were the only dine-in customers during our visit on Monday around 6:20pm -- not surprising since it was a Monday at dinnertime. I expect this place is busier at lunchtime. If you dine in, the bowls are different (not disposable). In the dining room, a few tables hadn't been cleaned when we sat down to eat. Also, one of the trash bins was overflowing and another was about to. During our visit, I noticed a slow, but steady stream of online and takeout customers and food delivery drivers come through. Currently, there are six sweetgreen locations in metro Atlanta, only one of which is in the burbs (Dunwoody). This Star Metals location was the fourth to open in Atlanta, on March 22, 2022. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating in a cool part of town (Westside). The interior still looks new with a modern, industrial design.
