My Purple Heart smoothie was good as well and not overbearing in any way. Didn't really taste the pineapple. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I came on a Tuesday early afternoon and there were several people that came in during my hour there eating. Nice spot to pop open your laptop and get some quiet work done. Toastique is just a short walk from my office and I was super excited to stop in and grab something for breakfast. The inside is super cute and would definitely be a great place to come here to work if you wanted a change in environment. I have come in a few times and ordered a few of their smoothies including the green machine smoothie and purple hart smoothie. I really enjoyed the green machine smoothie as I do tend to enjoy smoothies with a bit of greens, but there is enough variety for anyone. I was not as much a fan of the purple hart smoothie. It really didn't taste like anything. I also have picked up their juices such as the Metabolize and Defender. Both were incredibly tasty. I will say that I don't know if the store has a policy that if you return your bottle, you get a reward of some kind, but it would be great since these bottles are substantial. I have only had the avocado smash toast which is tasty. Be warned though that the chili oil may run down your arm and stay on your clothes for the rest of the day. read more

We opted to split the spicy crab and PB toast and it was the best decision we made all day :). The food arrived on these cute boards and they looked just like the menu pics. The crab was delicious and worked well with the layers of cheese toast, tomatoes and mild spicy sauce on top of lump crab. The PB was the perfect balance of textures, crunchy peanuts, sweet jam and savory but sweet peanut spread with sliced fruit and granola. Sounds like a lot but trust, every bite was intentional. My office is on the same block, and initially I felt a little apprehensive about the idea of trying Toastique. There's a stereotype of avocado toast being overpriced, and most times it is. This particular toast was large, full of topping (smoked salmon included), and fairly priced. The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant itself is inviting and well lit. In town for a work sales meeting and staying at a hotel within walking distance and this place did not disappoint! Just walking in on Tuesday, it was welcoming and I was met with smiles. I was met with suggestions and both women behind the counter just seemed to enjoy what they do. I'm not from Georgia by any means but I would assume the definition of a Georgia Peach is these two wonderful ladies! I was I. The service industry for many years so I will always come for good food but definitely stay for service like theirs! This place rocks! My lovely bride and I stopped in for an early breakfast. The owner, Nicole, is very welcoming and attentive. My bride loved the PB Crunch (peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, peanuts, honey, and mint on walnut raisin toast). Their Avocado Smash is epic (avocado with watermelon radish, tomatoes, chili oil, and microgreens on multigrain toast). Their drip coffee is delicious, and I really enjoyed the Orange Crush smoothie. I recently visited this new cafe next to my office with my husband on a Friday morning, excited to try it out. The space is beautiful, bright, and inviting. We ordered a matcha latte, green juice, and the spicy crab toast. As someone who regularly drinks matcha, I noticed right away that the latte was very light in color and resembled a vanilla latte more than matcha. I mentioned it to the woman behind the counter, who I later learned is the owner, Nicole. She explained they use one scoop of matcha according to their recipe. Unfortunately, the drink tasted more like milk with little to no matcha flavor. Nicole didn't offer to adjust the drink at the time, which was a bit disappointing, especially for a new cafe still finding its footing. I ended up requesting a different drink later on. That said, the green juice was great, and the spicy crab toast was delicious. My only suggestion would be to focus on improving customer service, particularly when it comes to handling feedback. There was an opportunity to adjust the recipe or at least offer a solution, which can make a big difference for repeat customers. On top of that, I waited over 30 minutes just to receive a bowl that turned out to be a big disappointment. Honestly, it wasn't worth the time or money. I recently checked out Toastique, located in the Hanover building. The staff was really friendly and helped us pick out what to order. I tried the Blue Mystique smoothie which was so delicious and creamy! My friend had the Cocolada bowl which was a bit underwhelming. It looked great but the flavor wasn't there. The toppings were fresh, but the base of the bowl could've used more flavor or sweetness. One downside is the lack of parking. There isn't a lot or deck so you have to find street parking which I was told they wouldn't validate. Overall, the ambiance is great and there's lots of seating. It is a large space so I could definitely see myself sitting down and getting some work done here! I'm excited to try a pressed juice and/or toast on my next walk here! read more

Toastique is a gourmet toast and healthy cafe style eatery. The presentation of the different selections of toast is unique but they could work on the execution. Because the toast is loaded with many toppings you have to be careful when picking it up to eat (even if you cut it). The Tuscan Tuna was tasty, but the balsamic vinaigrette makes the toast kinda soggy. The Spicy Crab was not spicy and didn't have much flavor (messy to eat as well). Highlights: The smoothies are delish and very healthy. We tried the Ginger Berry and Blue Mystique Smoothies and they were great! Service: The young man didn't acknowledge us when we walked in and he didn't say "I'll be right with you" until I spoke and asked "where do we order from"? Suggestion: If you're going to provide a fork and knife (which were Gold Plated), at least provide a knife that will successfully cut through the toast (not a butter knife). What's incredibly frustrating is that I am an avid and loyal Toastique customer having recently relocated back to Atlanta from being in DC for 10 years, I frequent the Toastique in navy yard and old towne, sooooo naturally I was equally as thrilled to learn that one was on its way to ATL shortly after my having relocated just 25 min north of the city. Well, to my chagrin, the Toastique experience I had here recently was nowhere near what I'm used to in the DMV. I did not catch the team members name but I will say she wasn't friendly, warm or at all what I am used to. I inquired about a menu item that I've never ordered before (I'm usually a PB&B açaí bowl girl or smoked salmon toast..once order the super fruit smoothie and it was divine) seeking her guidance and feedback and she wasn't friendly, was incredibly dismissive, seemed annoyed almost as if she could have possibly been having a bad day or maybe the nonchalance of it all was her personality. I will say, it was all very off-putting especially after a pretty intense soul cycle class, but with this particular franchise being operated by a black woman, I was all for supporting but can't say I will be back.
