Chicken and waffles, ribeye meal, homemade lemonade, sweet tea

So bomb! My friend and Ioved it here, great service and generous portions. She said it was some of the best fried chicken she's ever had (she's from VA)! LFG! Easy parking too.

-big and hearty meal -amazing service -flavor packed -caffeinated sweet tea Small diner with a cozy interior. Server was super nice and created us immediately upon entering. I ordered the chicken and waffles. My partner ordered the grits and sweet tea. (I would order all three items again) Parking is directly outside or in the nearby neighborhood. Fried chicken was super juicy and flavorful. Probably the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Crispy/flavorful skin with a juicy interior. Grits were super flavorful and the cheese added so much goodness. Their sweet tea was really refreshing and VERY caffeinated.

This location is a very small and intimate, there's a step to get into the restaurant so it's not wheelchair or stroller accessible. There is free street parking located outside. Went on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't too busy and food didn't take long to come out. My friend and I had the catfish while my other friend order the pancake breakfast. The catfish was well seasoned, juicy, and hot. The grits needed a little salt and pepper and more chopped peppers and onions. The spinach was a nice surprise on top and added a different texture to the catfish and grits. The pancakes tasted airy and good my friend thought they were a bit dry and didn't have the crispy edges she anticipated. Drink prices were not listed on the menu but the mimosa's were $10. 20% gratuity is already included. I would come back again next time I would try the other location for the space.

This spot is amazing! I was on a mission to discover some incredible down south food, and I had my heart set on brunch. While in Atlanta for my daughter's dance competition, I stumbled upon this gem, and it completely surpassed my expectations. Every dish was satisfying and packed with flavor. The grits and cheese were wonderfully creamy, and the waffles were cooked to perfection. Let's just say I left feeling very pleased! Our waiter, Draper, was incredibly attentive--took our order without writing anything down, and somehow got it all right. He brought such warm energy, making us feel like family while humming sounding like an angel in the restaurant.

Ordered through Uber Eats and everything was tasty. The portions were hearty as well.

Real talk, this is one of the best breakfast GEMS I have ever eaten at. Accidentally stopped here because Slutty Vegan was closed down and we (the entire family) were EXTREMELY pleased. Burrito, grits, eggs, turkey bacon, French toast and lemonade all 10/10. If Keith Lee came here and left a review the whole of Atlanta would be standing outside making the cooks go crazy.

I ran up on this quant Bruch spot on the Westside. The parking is street style just get there early. The place isn't that big bit the atmosphere is perfect ! Ole Skool R&B on a Sunday morning is fine with me along with the hospitality of the waiter. I thought I was at Aunties house. The portions are big and as I saw everyone had a to go box. Please support this business!! We need this in the community!!

Food and Service is THE BOMB!! When I tell y'all the fish and grits with spinach and whatever the sauce was on top was GOOD!! My husband had the salmon omelette and a side of pancakes. I forgot to take a picture but here is the finish plate... Draper was everything!!!

I love this restaurant. It's small and quaint and the waiter (Draper) was on point. The salmon and grits dish is amazing. and the fried chicken wings are the bomb. This place is small and quaint and the food is delicious. The service is great and I will definitely be back. Service - 10 Food - 10 Ambience - 8

So my wife and I wanted to do brunch. We decided to try a be spot. Augie's Cafe had good reviews on Yelp. We are an 8 minute drive so decided to check them out. When I tell you we were not disappointed! We were immediately excited about the decor with images of legendary Motown artists and Black cinema and television shows. Draper was our host and server. Took great care of us and the entire dining room solo! The food was outstanding. The menu items are named for the songs of musical legends. My wife ordered the Don't Stand So Close to Me, a veggie and cheese omelette. She added steak and a side of pancakes. I had the Ready or Not, a basic breakfast (eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes and a biscuit). The biscuits were grilled after being baked. In the words of Luther, everything was "So Amazing "

I'm so glad I found out about this restaurant. My daughter and I were in Atlanta for an event and I decided to dine here for breakfast. I had the "Don't Stand So Close to Me" omelette with Shrimp along with 3 wings on the side. My daughter had "Never Can Say Goodbye". The food is delicious as my daughter and I each cleared our plates! The service was wonderful as we were greeted as we walked into the restaurant. The restaurant decorated with photos of different music artists from Rock & Roll, Hip Hop and R & B. Each item on the menu is named after a different song. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Atlanta.

Located on a busy street, if you weren't looking for the cafe, you could possibly miss it. There's a bunch of parking available along the street and it wasn't difficult to find a spot during my visit on a weekday morning. When I walked inside, I was pleasantly surprised at the space inside. Although a bit narrow, there was a nice line of seating available inside, leaving room for over a dozen guests to sit comfortably. I was so happy to see that there were outlets lining the wooden seating near the tables, making it perfect for a solo workday. I grabbed a seat and headed to the counter to order. The menu offers some great variety without being overwhelming, which is always appreciated, especially in the morning. For my first drink, I opted for the Caan vs. Can, a butter pecan-focused drink. Let me say - this was delicious!! I was sad that I didn't get a larger size! For my second drink, I went for The Atlanta Dream, although tasty, not as good as the first, but still . I also ordered a grit bowl with pork sausage and extra bacon on the side. My grits and bacon were really good, creamy and buttery, no extra seasoning needed. My eggs were a bit overcooked and the portion was smaller than expected, but it was still a great breakfast. The team here was also really sweet and they were whipping up those drinks and bites like it was nothing. Such a wonderful spot, definitely a must-try coffee spot.
