Unbelievable. We drive up and put in a take out order for a shrimp po boy, breakfast burrito, home fries and turkey bacon. We're told it will be 15 minutes. Cool. We wait in the parking lot 20 minutes, go inside, we're told it will be another 10 minutes. Cool. We come back in 10 minutes later we go check, and told it's still not ready to check back in 10 more minutes. It's bee 40 minutes now, and I ask for a refund because I'm not waiting any longer. My request is denied to my face, because it's "too late." Another 10 minutes goes by before I get my food, and it's mid. There's no way you can estimate that my food will be ready on 15 minutes when it takes an hour. Then you tell me to wait 10 minutes 3 more times? Ridiculous. read more

Hidden gem! I loveee Rosie's. Especially when Auntie & Naya are there! I had never heard of this place but found myself looking for coffee one mawning so i stopped by! It's now become my go too! All my fellow law enforcement officers had been coming here for breakfast prior to me knowing. Each day i receive amazing service, very inviting coffees, the strawberry matcha is also one of my faves! Very calm vibe but on the weeks ends i would say otherwise. This breakfast spot gets 5 stars. Customer Service..on point. I ordered online Pancake platter.. comes with Eggs, bacon,grits. The online site gave no option to add cheese to eggs. I called the location and the lady said no problem she would add it, and I pay the difference when I pick up my order. They have plenty of parking, plus additional lot for parking. Pick up order at the counter.. everyone was cheerful and engaging. The noise level was average. I didn't have to wait long. I received my order, which looked and smelled amazing... and it was. Enough food you could share. I couldn't eat it all. Before leaving I saw they had Matcha so I ordered a iced one with oat milk and vanilla.. yummy. They have a variety of flavors for coffee drinks. Rosie's 2330 Sylvan Road, Atlanta, GA - 10/4/2025 ~ 09:15a.m. Whereas, I can cook better than average, I am not fond on eating out but I have really done my share of it in the past. (I have included my receipt, showing the orders and charges.) I was intent on delaying my review, in order to make sure my pressure from another non-gustatory project was not affecting my perception. While visiting Atlanta my nephew ventured to take me to Rosie's Coffee Café, on Sylvan Rd. He had not patronized this Café before. Generally speaking, the service was lack-luster but not objectionable, but I shall point out specifics which I think were egregious. We made our orders from the printed menu provided. I like a satisfying breakfast, even if simple, because I wouldn't really have to eat the rest of the day. I ordered something which could not be messed up: (3*) 2-eggs (=6 eggs) with cheese (scrambled, not too dry) arrived, (a bit slow for a simple order and no crowd). I immediately noticed the texture of the scrambled eggs: too granular, (sandy texture), and with whites separated in a kind of coagulated rather than scrambled appearance. We started to eat. The eggs were almost devoid of any flavor, and the texture was indeed unusual. I did my best to enhance them with salt and pepper. At first, I thought "oh well...this one's a 'L'! : you can't win every time!", and took another fork-full. This was not like ANY eggs I had ever eaten. I summoned the table server and made enquiry, "are these eggs from a carton or fresh eggs?" She hesitated momentarily....'these are carton eggs', she replied. How can you serve anything other than fresh whole eggs without notifying the consumer?, I plied? Her reply: If you want eggs from the shell you have to specifically ask for "shell eggs". I was astounded. I had never encountered that term in my 68years,...I had never even heard of "shell eggs", as a requirement to specify in a food order, or in any eating place! I was hungry and there to eat. So, I ordered 2*(2 eggs) =4 eggs. When they came I chose not to eat them as they appeared a little different but not as I expected. Meanwhile my nephew had ordered and received "grits and fried catfish". He was almost done eating. We had struck up a conversation with three out-of-towners at the next table. They happened to have included 'grits' in their order. It was concluded that the grits were both "not hot", and "too watery". Those who ordered the cat-fish were pretty satisfied with that part of their order. I was only concerned with the components of my orders. I called for the check. The server appeared with a hand-held terminal. She told me the amount, and to "please just insert your card!". I asked her for the receipt or some list showing items for which I was paying. I eventually inserted the payment card....and asked for the list "before I sign for payment!", (back and forth about 2 minutes). She kept avoiding the request,"sure, you'll get that as soon as you sign.... You've already paid, just sign where indicated." I was disgustedly worn out and signed, without seeing the total. I went over the receipt, (included here). She obviously did not want me to see that they had already added a significant gratuity; and I therefore added an overall gratuity which was multiplied because of the previous gratuity. I went to the manager to complain both about the eggs and the "gratuity". She explained that the gratuity notice was on the door, and that I should have read it! She said that she would give a 10% discount on the "eggs" order...but that was never seen! The pictures show the notices to be read before daring to enter! The front room in which I sat could seat about 16-20 people: about 10 spots empty at time indicated on receipt:(There was a street event going on, (maybe a walk/run/bike event), which may have affected access. Several grungy electrical/USB plugs were out of order. Environment/ambiance 4 of 10 Food: 2 out of 10 (of all of my actual eat-out experience). Service: 3 out of 10 There are said to be two (2) "Rosie's" in the Atlanta area. The other, as I understand is in or near a stadium complex. I have never been there. I would not venture to eat at any Rosie's location in the future. read more

This place is so delicious! I definitely recommend making a reservation, even for breakfast because it gets crowded. The food came out hot and was phenomenal. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the pancakes were fluffy, the grits were so creamy, and the pork sausage was delicious. The croissant had too much butter and was hard though. They have amazing chai lattes. It was the best latte I've ever had because it wasn't too sweet. The ambiance was modern and chic. There is a bar area on one side and another side with high top tables and regular tables. The waiter was friendly but wasn't as attentive. I had to ask for refills multiple times. The only reason why I gave this restaurant 4 stars is the wait time. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. read more

So far, I've had nothing but good experiences here. Just consistently great food. Today's choice: the Specialty Waffle, served with three whole battered wings and a Banana Nut flavored waffle. The Chicken: Absolutely delicious. Fried to perfection--crispy, not too greasy, and served piping hot. The seasoning was just right, flavorful without being overpowering. A great match for the waffle. The Waffle: My server asked if I wanted butter. Normally I'd say yes (I love butter), but I declined after noticing the generous drizzle already coating the waffle. I'm not exactly sure what the icing drizzle was, but it made butter unnecessary. While I'm usually not big on nuts in my waffles, it was still tasty. That said, I personally would've enjoyed more banana and a bit less nut. This wasn't my first time at Rosie's--and it definitely won't be the last. As always, the food was excellent. Went to the Carrollton location and was very disappointed in the kitchen staff! Not only was the food flavorless the female kitchen worker was being argumentative with the servers so much so that I was able to hear and told them to keep my order the same and don't alter it in anyway. The servers were very nice and apologetic but my appetite was already ruined especially for a place with 20% gratuities and 3% fee for credit cards! Won't be bad and won't ever recommend. For one, the service here was great! The young woman working the front of the shop was attentive, and very helpful while my family was placing their order. I got the French Toast Platter, which was absolutely delicious. The scrambled eggs were great, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly, with some not-too-sweet french toast to top it off! While the Northside location allows for reservations, this one does not. No waiting area inside but they will call when table is ready so you can wait in your car or outside. Jennifer was our server and she was very nice, attentive and personable and took extra effort to ensure our order was correct. The food was hot with good taste. Literally spent the weekend at Rosie's due to event in area. I was not disappointed on either visit! Ample parking is available during the visit. Yesterday, during first visit in a few years, I had the delicious shrimp and grits. It was a smaller portion compared to other places, and also the perfect portion size. Good flavor throughout. I paired it with the oatmeal latte which had good cinnamon flavor. It was a bit sweet but enjoyed the taste and barrel mug served in that had a warming metal consistency. Day 2, returned with visiting family post event. Ordered the angus burger with a side of coleslaw. The medium burger came with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. Opted for no cheese and ditched the delicious looking buns do to current dietary program. #bikiniseason The homemade coleslaw was a great choice as it was rich in texture and flavor. My companions had eggs over easy, french toast, wings and fries. All selections were well received. Service was excellent on both days and did not mind adding to the 20% automatically added gratuity when dining in. Danielle was informative and pleasant on day 1. Alicia, my namesake, was extremely impressive from greeting to follow up check ins to exit. Both ladies were attentive and provided good service. Location is one of three, and in East Point. If you know it takes longer, then why not at least warn that the kitchen and bar are busy and it takes 25 minutes to make two lattes? We waited 10 minutes to be approached. "Server" came over came over and took our order. We waited 25 minutes for our food. Breakfast Burrito and a breakfast bowl. My coffee came after the food arrived. Our "server" sat at an adjacent table and ate, never checking on us or if we needed anything. After sitting and being done for over 10 minutes, I asked for our bill. No check just came up and told us it was $40. Paid and noticed that the gratuity was already added (25%) and they wanted more. I am a native Atlantan and have been consciously making efforts to visit more of our local businesses. Today I decided to visit Rosie's for the 2nd time(1st time was last summer, I wasn't that impressed and felt like I wasted my money, especially on that Toffee Nut Latte, but decided to give it another try on a less crowded day). Placed my order on their website at 12:49pm for a Breakfast Burrito (w/chicken sausage, potatoes and cheese eggs), nothing complicated, it was the basic burrito on their menu. Received a confirmation that my order would be ready at 1:19 pm. First sign that things weren't going to go right was the parking attendant's lack of awareness. I pulled in the lot and immediately saw a guy getting ready to leave so I pulled up close enough to him so that it would be evident that I was waiting on him to pull out. The attendant then waves me forward, so I look in my rearview to make sure I'm not blocking anyone, I wasn't, but he waved me up again, so I think maybe there is space closer up that I can't see. Nope it wasn't, so I tell him that I was waiting on the space that the guy was pulling out of, and of course, the guy pulls out and is now behind me and the attendant is looking at me with a stupid look on his face, smh. So I have to pull out of the parking lot, wait at the light and hope that by the time I turn around and get back into the parking lot the space isn't gone(because there parking lot is very small). I went in about 1:10pm because I don't like to wait until the exact time just in case my food is ready early. I go up to the two young ladies at the pick up counter, they greet me and I give them my name, she checks the little cart that they use for to-go orders and tells me my order isn't ready yet. I say ok and stand there for a few minutes before I sit down, but in my head I'm like how long does it take for a breakfast burrito, literally that's all it was nothing extra with it, no grits, drink, nothing, just a burrito. I wait for a few minutes after the time I was given and I go back up there and ask the young lady if they called my name, she tells me not yet, so then I ask her is this normal for it to take this long for a burrito? At that time another lady (she had wavy hair and looked like she had a tattoo on her neck) who I think was probably a manager, hears my question and replies. She tells me that they had a large party of 10, as if they aren't experienced restauranteurs and it's their first ever big party. Mind you it wasn't crowded in there at all so I didn't feel good about that reply, feels like you're already making excuses, but no one has gone to actually check on the order although I'm the only one still waiting in the To-Go area. They were standing there talking. There's more to good customer service than just a pleasant greeting. You have to be aware of the orders that were placed and what you're waiting on, it helps you cut down on service failures and the amount of wasted time that occurs. You have to be proactive by checking in with the kitchen about outstanding orders. That's how you keep things flowing and keep all your customers happy. Finally the younger lady goes to the kitchen because now I'm standing and giving a clear vibe of "what the heck is taking so long". I can see them talking and looking on the screen and at that moment I knew my order was overlooked. She comes back to the counter, but she doesn't say anything to me. She's talking to the other workers and I can hear her saying basically they don't know where my order is. Mind you, I'm the customer yet she never tells me this, but then the lady who I think is the manager comes over and I just go ahead and tell her in a very polite and calm voice, "hey you can just refund me if it's not ready and I'll go somewhere else". She goes back to the kitchen and the kitchen manager tells her he's rolling the burrito up now and give him about 4 minutes. She goes on to tell me that someone took my order, mind you I've been sitting there looking at the younger lady help others that came to pick up and I don't believe that because I could hear her asking their names before she gave them their order. Honestly, as soon as she started making excuses, I knew I was never coming back, I don't have time for that when I'm spending my hard earned money, especially in this economy. Be upfront, be apologetic, fix it, no excuses. Finally at 1:34 pm the kitchen manager comes out with my food tells me thank you, gives a quick apology and I go on my way. The burrito was hot and a large portion so he obviously tried to make up for the fact that I waited so long, but it was flavorless, dry and I didn't care for the taste of the tortilla. It would've been nice if the potatoes had more onion and peppers in them, but overall it was mediocre, I ended up only eating half of it. I definitely won't be back. read more

Parking is good, facility is clean, Bathroom hallway is very tight don't really understand this ya'll. I ordered the pancakes, eggs over well, bacon and potatoes. Food was bland and lacked real flavor and seasoning, especially the potatoes. and why is the portion of potatoes so small? Chicken wings are fried in flour and no seasoning on these either. The wife ordered the crab cakes and apparently they were right on. I wasn't gonna speak on the service too much but hopefully they can straighten that out as my order was brought to the table wrong and no real apology offered just a "oh we will get your pancakes over to you in a bit". overall not a complete fail but there is attention to detail and maybe some recipe changes that should be explored. read more
