I really wanted to like this place but they missed the mark. Food is average at best. When I walked in the employees were talking amongst themselves. No greeting, in fact I had to greet the cashier first. Food was bland. I got fish and grits with a side of home fries. Home fries were not cooked all the way. I'm sad because I lovveee me some them for breakfast, but today I had lunch. I ordered the vegetables plate for 6.00 (great price) you get three veggies and a drink. The cabbage was decent, the fried okra was great, the Mac and cheese was horrible, the cornbread was rubbery and you get a drink. The macaroni for the Mac and cheese reminded me of some cheap box macaroni. Customer Service is nice here and it's clean. It's a small parking lot with other businesses; so be careful how you park. This is a hidden gem for sure! Located on old Dixie Hwy amid a heavy construction worker/trucker area. They are open for breakfast and lunch with great breakfast specials! Food cook to order! It's a small hole in the wall place. I've only tried their breakfast. I've gotten the breakfast sandwich. It's really simple but it's so good. I got sausage, eggs and cheese. Such a great spot not only for breakfast but for lunch as well. Now i don't come by for lunch as much as I used to, but I call in my breakfast order on my way to work at least 2 times a week. They cook your breakfast to order so its fresh and hot when you get it and the prices are beyond reasonable for what they give you. Their pancake platter I will say is one of my faves to order ( when I'm eating bread). They give you 3 HUGE pancakes a meat and 2 eggs. The pancakes are thick and fluffy, I can usually only make it through about 2 of them myself. They also have a breakfast special which is 1 meat, 2 eggs, grits, and a bread (toast or biscuit). Both options are at $5 or under which is honestly a good deal. I haven't had their lunch in quite some time but they have a special where you get a meat and 2 sides w/ a choice of bread and drink for $7. $7?!?! come on guys in this area you don't usually get lunch options like that for that amount. The only downside I would say is that they get VERY busy both for breakfast and for lunch. Other than that not much to complain about. Id recommend trying it if you're around. They are in the same parking lot as the American deli and Jimmy Johns. Their original location which is the same set up is located in Hapeville not to far away from this one. read more

Yassssss! A real breakfast spot that makes good food. My first time here I order two breakfast specials which consists of 1 meat 2eggs grits and bread, I also added hot cakes and home fried potatoes. When I say everything was gooood I mean everything. Them potatos were seasoned to a T. I love that the kitchen is open so you can see your order being freshly made. Making my order and having it to go took all of 12 minutes. The next day you know I had to go back. This place is only 5 minutes from my job.... at this rate I am gonna need to put that gym membership to use. read more

I order from here quite often for a few coworkers and myself and the breakfast sandwiches are on point. I can say when I first started going here which was about 5 months ago the prices were incredible but all of a sudden BOOM price increased. I asked about that and was given the new excuse that's restaurants are getting too comfortable with which is "The Pandemic" . I mean why upcharge and the pandemic has been going on a full year and you decide to change prices midway. I still go just not as often.
