FOLK ART was semi loud with friendly staff. The Vanilla bean latte was VERY sweet. Short ribs & grits- came with eggs over sunny, great flavor when added to the gravy from short ribs.Grits were a little undercooked but the short ribs had great flavor. I didn't care for the cheddar cheese that was on top of the grits. Also the grits had corn in them which was a first for me. Lastly I tried the French toast and added pecans the bread was kinda of dry most of the flavor came from the drizzle on top. I would definitely come again and try some other items on their menu.

Folk Art is said to be the best breakfast in Atlanta and I have to say, it certainly lived up to the hype. A group of 8 of us visited the Hapeville location for a noonish Saturday brunch and were all blown away. The restaurant is super fun with a great energy and vibe. Lots of vintage signs and local art give this place all the feels. There is a bright, wide open dining space and modern meets yesteryear bar. We were pretty quickly seated even with a busy restaurant and a large party. Our server, Elle, was an absolute hoot. She made the entire experience fun and had us all laughing. She also was quick with recs which was nice as the entire menu looks and sounds incredible. I don't honestly think you will go wrong with anything. I had one of their signature sandwiches, the Bad to the Bone, which was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The sandwich was a behemoth. Everything was flawless about it. Tender pulled pork, the housemade greens were perfect, the chipotle bbq has a nice smoky flavor and the Gruyère cheese gave it a smooth saltiness. Everyone in the party raved about their food. This is a spot we will for sure be visiting again.

Wow, this place truly lives up to the great reviews! Fantastic service and the food is truly incredible! Ordered many different things since there were so many great and unique things to try. I can say that there was one thing that our group did not like. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return here anytime I am visiting Atlanta!!

Great customer service on this busy Tuesday morning. Our server (Edward) and host very hospitable. Ive been to the Downtown Decatur location and the food was delicious. This location did not disappoint. For 1 app, 2 entrees, 2 sodas & 1 mimosa it was $80 with a $13 tip. The ambiance is clean & rustic. Great for large parties.

Loved my waiter here, but I can't remember her name. My table was next to the host stand so he was helpful as well. I came here with my family for breakfast. The food was ok. I ordered corn beef hash which was a bit bland. The apple cider made up for it a little bit. I also tried the chicken and waffles. There is a red sauce that you should request on the side. The flavor of a tomato based sauce and sugary syrup was a peculiar one. Lastly I tried the fried chicken biscuit with gravy. Classic and the size of the chicken was huge and filling. The restaurant opens up to a patio across the street from a train station. Very sunny with a small town feel. I even took a walk after to look at the little shops all around. I don't think I'll come back to this location. My favorite folk art is in N highlands.

My first experience here was quite a disappointment. My husband and I celebrated our Valentine's Day brunch. We made a reservation and glad we did because they were super busy. We waited for a few minutes to get seated. Our server was not the friendliest nor was he the most attentive. I knew it was going to be an issue because we waited for awhile for our food (I have some restaurant knowledge and there were 2 people in the kitchen and the tickets were pouring in). I ordered the sweet potato waffle topped with banana nut foster and a side of bacon. My husband ordered fowl play. I should have asked for the banana nut foster topping on the side because it was overly sweet that I couldn't eat my meal. I ended up switching with my husband. The chicken on his waffle was okay. The batter was no longer crispy and didn't have any flavor besides the brine. I thought their food was nothing to write home about, which is disappointing because the Inman Park location is such a local institution.

I been wanting g to visit this spot for a while. At work today I really wanted some good breakfast food. This is my opportunity to try Folk Art. Coming in I love the decor. I was greeted quickly, I wanted to sit at the bar to look over the menu. The bartender was great. I ended up getting the seafood omelet w/ grits. I got the omelet I was a little disappointed. The omelet was a bit dry. I was sitting wondering how can a seafood omelet be dry. This omelet consist of cured salmon, lobster and shrimp w/ america white cheese. However, it taste ok but dry. I can say this one dish will not stop me from coming back. I would like to try some of their other menu items and maybe a fall cocktail.

Chicken and Waffles with peaches eggs and sausage gravy. It was worth the talking to I'll get from my doctor.

Total hidden gem a stones throw from ATL. Unfortunately they don't open until 10 which makes it tough to grab breakfast there on a weekday. I did have breakfast and it was terrific. Staff is super friendly, and food is delish. Can't wait to go back!

Welcome to Hapeville‼! I love what is happening in the Tri-Cities. Yelp led us to Folk Art, a modernized retro restaurant. I loved the diversity of the patrons and the ability to accommodate any size party. There was even a bar and a couple of screens to watch the games. And now to the main event...da food. I am absolutely giddy about the new and exciting food concepts coming to the Tri-Cities. Folkart is new to the Tri-Cities but not to Atlanta. Lets go...

When did you switch from corned beef brisket to cold cuts in the corn beef hash?? $18 for Hormel sliced? I guess this become another chain restaurant..

It was a good spot; it wasn't crowded. The music wasn't overpowering, and there was a nice aesthetic and ambience. The food was good, and the fritters were amazing. The only downside (for me) is that the chicken could use some salt.

The food was really good!!! Try their homemade hot sauce, fire and tasty! Thoroughly enjoyed my shrimp and grits experience along with the peach compost for my English muffin, overall very good!!

For the main course, my girlfriend had the turkey wing with rice, and she really enjoyed it. She said the seasoning was on point and full of flavor. I ordered the fried shrimp with collard greens and candied yams. The candied yams were definitely a highlight -- sweet, flavorful, and cooked just right. The collard greens, though, didn't taste as fresh as I would've liked -- almost like they may have been canned. The iced tea was really good, and my friend enjoyed her glass of wine. One thing to note: everything is served in styrofoam containers with plastic flatware instead of traditional plates and silverware. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. They do offer a military discount, but it only applies to the individual with the military ID -- not the entire table if you're dining with family or on a date. I appreciate that they acknowledge service members, but it would be nice if the discount extended to the whole party. Overall, it was a great experience with very good service, and I'd probably go back again. If you're in the Hapeville area and craving some soul food, it's worth checking out.

It's like a high-energy spot for those who aren't bothered by a little noise. You get to watch **Porsches** racing around until about 6-6:30 PM, then planes flying well into the night. You're sitting up on the 8th or 9th floor with an amazing vantage point of the runway, so if you love a good view, this place has that in spades. Noise can be a big factor here though--if you're sensitive to it, this spot probably isn't for you. Between the cars and planes, it's definitely not a quiet, intimate experience. But if you're into high-speed action, the sound only adds to the thrill. As for the drinks, they were delicious--a great selection to match the vibe. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. I wouldn't call it an intimate spot, though--you'll be more focused on the excitement and the view than on any deep conversation. The sunset was definitely the cherry on top, giving the whole place a magical touch as the day winds down. All in all, a cool, vibrant spot for anyone looking for something a little more unconventional!

What a fantastic experience!…read more Although I've ordered from Which Wich in the past, this was actually my first time inside of the restaurant and what an experience it was. My intern/friend and I decided to grab a quick lunch while preparing for an experience nearby and I'm so glad that we did. Which Wich is a sandwich shop that has a pretty interesting ordering setup. With a bright and clear menu that welcomes you as you enter the shop, you begin with choosing your sandwich size. From there, guests can grab a marker and begin to craft their ideal sandwich based on the wide variety showcased on the menu. You can choose between various toppings like veggies, spreads, different cheeses, you name it. With all of the listeria outbreaks happening around the US, I was definitely apprehensive, so I went in with that in mind. I opted for an Italian sub with extra hot peppers, spicy mustard, light mayo, etc etc. All of the things I shouldn't have, but was craving. I haven't had a sandwich in monthssss and needed it to be cooked at certain temperature. I was incredibly nervous about that but the sweet woman (I hate that I don't remember her name and it wasn't on my receipt! :-( ) behind the counter assured me that she understood my needs and wow, did she! She toasted the meat for my sandwich first and then put it on my sandwich and toasted it again to be sure that the temperature was correct. What an angel. My sandwich was perfect! Omg. I wish I would have gotten a bigger one how I scarfed it down, lol. It was incredibly flavorful, the spicy peppers, pickles and jalapenos really took it to another level. Beyond the awesome service and sandwich, the restaurant itself was clean, spacious and full of tables if guests wanted to sit and enjoy their meals. I'll be dreaming about that sandwich for a long time, can't wait to go back and have another.

Not bad. You pick your bread (white/wheat) sauces, veggies etc. then write your name at the bottom of the bag & the sandwich artist will call them when your food is ready. This location is pretty spacious with indoor & outdoor seating. It was also clean. The reg sandwiches were a pretty good size little over a 6 inch. They have lots of sandwiches to choose from, so I'll be back to try more.
