Our party consisted of six people, and as you can see from the photos, everyone ordered something different no two dishes were the same. We started with the Craft Mimosa. Our first flavor was watermelon, which is shown in the photo. It was very good and had a strong watermelon flavor. The second flavor we tried was passion fruit, which wasn't my favorite. For a table appetizer, we chose the macaroni balls. They were fried to perfection on the outside, but unfortunately, when I bit into mine, it was cold on the inside, which was a bit disappointing. For my entrée, I ordered the Foul Play (chicken and waffles). I asked for the toppings on the side just in case I didn't like them. The waffle was delicious and didn't even need syrup. The chicken breast was fried well and paired nicely with the waffle. Overall, even though the dish was simple, it was a great choice. Our waitress was very nice and informative. She explained the most popular and top-ordered items, which really helped with our selections. Inside decor was pretty. There was also a bar if solo diner will like to sit there. Will I return? Yes indeed I will.

The positives; Saturday at 10am and a party of 5 we were sat immediately ,the food came out quickly, menu has something for everyone. food was served hot. The food is tasty. We got chicken and waffles, omelette, French toast, pancakes, and a mocha coffee. Everything was solid. The negatives while we were sat quickly but it took a while for someone to take our order about 2 minutes which is too long. The server was not very happy to be at work, they weren't rude but also not just . We had a small mix up with our food as a side of spinach was put on the wrong plate which wouldn't have been an issue but we weren't all family so sharing after an item was eaten no one wanted to share. Lastly, we asked for a box and had to get it ourselves. Would I go back? Yes! I know this reviews seems harsh but overall it was a good experience.

It's like a high-energy spot for those who aren't bothered by a little noise. You get to watch **Porsches** racing around until about 6-6:30 PM, then planes flying well into the night. You're sitting up on the 8th or 9th floor with an amazing vantage point of the runway, so if you love a good view, this place has that in spades. Noise can be a big factor here though--if you're sensitive to it, this spot probably isn't for you. Between the cars and planes, it's definitely not a quiet, intimate experience. But if you're into high-speed action, the sound only adds to the thrill. As for the drinks, they were delicious--a great selection to match the vibe. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. I wouldn't call it an intimate spot, though--you'll be more focused on the excitement and the view than on any deep conversation. The sunset was definitely the cherry on top, giving the whole place a magical touch as the day winds down. All in all, a cool, vibrant spot for anyone looking for something a little more unconventional!

As soon as you step off the elevato, walk forward to a door that leads to the rooftop. It was quite pleasing to the eye. The view is spectacular. The music was jumping but not overly loud. You can see the Porsche Building and the track very clearly. You are also privy to seeing numerous jets landing as the runway is behind the hotel. We opened a tab and ordered drinks and wine and also a lot of food. Sautéed Garlic Shrimp, Overland Sliders, Chicken Wi, gs and an Overland Burger. I had the burger. It was huge and made from what seemed like steak almost. It was dressed beautifully with lettuce, gouda cheese, and some thick bacon. Everything we had was good. The bartenders and serving staff were supreme. Very, very nice. The rooftop is open from 5-11pm. It was a very enjoyable aspect of our experience here at Kimpton Overland. We will be back.

For the main course, my girlfriend had the turkey wing with rice, and she really enjoyed it. She said the seasoning was on point and full of flavor. I ordered the fried shrimp with collard greens and candied yams. The candied yams were definitely a highlight -- sweet, flavorful, and cooked just right. The collard greens, though, didn't taste as fresh as I would've liked -- almost like they may have been canned. The iced tea was really good, and my friend enjoyed her glass of wine. One thing to note: everything is served in styrofoam containers with plastic flatware instead of traditional plates and silverware. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. They do offer a military discount, but it only applies to the individual with the military ID -- not the entire table if you're dining with family or on a date. I appreciate that they acknowledge service members, but it would be nice if the discount extended to the whole party. Overall, it was a great experience with very good service, and I'd probably go back again. If you're in the Hapeville area and craving some soul food, it's worth checking out.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

Title: Flavor Explosion, Soulful Hospitality & a Last-Minute Meal That Turned Magical…read more Let me just say this: what started as a "quick bite before closing" turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. We arrived at The Poach Social about 20 minutes before closing, unsure if we'd be rushed--but instead, we were welcomed with warmth and ease. Lived the ambiance. Hunter, our server, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel taken care of from the very start. Then came Victor, the owner and chef--and this is where things shifted from good to special. Without us even asking, he recommended a mocktail that felt like it was made just for me: a sorrel-based drink layered with ginger, spice, herbs, and fresh fruit. It was refreshing, balanced, and honestly one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I've had. We started with the jerk egg rolls... and I'm not exaggerating when I say we were clapping after the first bite. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, with a sweet-spicy sauce that just worked. We immediately knew we'd be taking more to go. For the main course, we ordered the Poach Social breakfast plate and the blackened salmon with polenta. The breakfast plate was comforting and well-executed, but the salmon dish? Absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth texture, with creamy polenta and a rich sauce that brought everything together. It was a full-on flavor experience. The timing of everything--from drinks to apps to entrées--was seamless. Hunter checked in at the perfect moments, never too much, never too little. We ended up in a lovely conversation with Victor, who is not only talented but genuinely kind and passionate. He brought us complimentary slices of carrot cake, and even though we were already full... we ate every bite. No regrets. It was phenomenal. What I loved most is that this place doesn't just serve food--it creates an experience. There's intention, care, and heart behind everything. If you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and go. This place deserves to thrive. We will absolutely be back.
