A new hotspot to go to on the Southside at the cusp of Southlake Mall. I hosted a surprise dinner party for a friend/co-worker for 25 guest and it was fabulous!!! Went here on a Friday night for a girl's night out for karaoke. Here's the short version: Our waitress Armani was great. The food was just okay. The atmosphere was terrible. Service: Our waitress was Armani and she was amazing!!! From the time she came to our table to introduce herself until we paid our bills, she was energetic, continously checked on us, and immediately fixed any issues from the kitchen. If you go, ask to sit in Armani's section. Food: Our table of 5 had mixed reviews on the food. Some thought the wings were good while others thought they were unseasoned other than the sauce on top. We generally enjoyed the Jamaican patties despite the confusion on our "patty flight." We were initially given 2 curry patties and later told it was because they didn't have anymore jerk patties. However, we were later sent a jerk patty, so that was confusing. Entertainment: This is where they lacked and why I wouldn't come back. We arrived at 7:30pm. During the time we were there, there was a boring old school play list and the songs people chose for karaoke. We came for karaoke because we'd been told by the bartender that night gets packed. That's not true, at any given time there weren't anymore than 10 tables with guests. Additionally, management was very strict about what songs could be performed for karaoke and told paying customers we couldn't curse. When I asked about this policy, the manger told me it was the traditional global way to be family friendly. If that's your thing, this would be the place for you but it didn't fit our needs for a girl's night and the women in our group were 35-55. Lastly, the two managers appeared to micromanage every move the servers and bartenders made, it just felt weird. read more

This is my 2nd time at this location and it was just as good as the first time. Tiara our server was amazing, guided my Sweetie through the Menu as it was his first visit here and she took great care of us. We enjoyed the Karaoke show with some great performers lol. My Sweetie had the Lamb Chops that he said were ok but could have been bigger with 4 instead of the 3 that he received. I had the Lamb Shank, it was extremely tender, full of flavor and delicious. Soooo delicious! We started with the Bermuda fish cakes and the jerk chicken soup! The soup was exceptional...a warm hug in a bowl! They have a main menu that has features from different countries and every quarter they change to feature a new country for their supplementary menu. Greece is the current feature. The owner has a chef come in to train the resident chef for each menu change. We had the Grecian salmon papillote that was accompanied by spinach rice...super yummy! Most recently, we hosted a graduation party there, and it could not have gone better. Most restaurants try but cannot completely execute certain RECIPES and Flavors authentically. The menu gives home cooking with fine dining experience vibes I appreciate the effort and authenticity. I love the fact there is a great place to eat a variety of different dishes regularly. If you are ever in search for something different from the normal menu items being offered at generally every restaurant take a moment to visit traditional global cuisine. So I decided to give this place a try once again. My wife and I sat at the bar and the bartender was nice and remembered us from a previous visit. We ordered drinks and appetizers which were pretty good and I thought we were on the right track after our last disaster. But that's pretty much where it ended. We ordered out entrees and my wife's came out in a decent time and she enjoyed. However I ordered the Brazilian Churrasco (medium) and didn't get my food until 43 mins after my wife received her meal. Not only was it over cooked, the chimichurri was pretty much all vinegar which made it inedible. So needless to say I don't see me ever going back despite the fact I love the food concept and I really, really wanted to like this place but this was twice in a row where I basically haven't eaten let alone enjoyed a meal even though I paid full price for all meal items...even the ones that I either didn't receive or were executed poorly and never got acknowledged by management for the issues that arose at their establishment. read more

Hey guys we stopped in this place for dinner on Thursday evening. Parking is good, on a private lot. Upon entering the establishment and being seated there was an odor of a sewage/ plumbing issue but I'm glad we stayed instead of leaving. The wife had the flounder and bow tie pasta with Alfredo sauce when I tell yall the pasta was delicious it really was. I had the Atl lemon pepper wings and they aren't traditional seasoned lemon pepper it's very lightly seasoned. But the French fries were good. Our server nykia was a rock star. I went back to Traditions Global Cuisine and grabbed the Jammin Jerk Chicken Sandwich to go--because I needed something flavorful for my traffic therapy session. It came with fries, but let's be honest... the fries didn't make it. They were gone before I even left the parking lot. Crispy, seasoned, and dangerously addictive. Now for the sandwich--whew. The chicken was clearly marinated deep-down and cooked to perfection. That jerk flavor was bold, smoky, and beautifully balanced--not just spice for show, but actual FLAVOR. I legit had a moment in the car like... "Who made this?!" And yes, the photo isn't giving haute cuisine energy, but that's only because I had to snap it fast before I finished the rest. At least I saved some to show y'all. This place continues to impress--from dine-in vibes to takeout gems and the service is always top-notch. I went to this location years ago and the inside decor is a complete overhaul! Thank God! Now to the food... this month they're celebrating Spain, so we ordered a shrimp appetizer from that menu that was like a shrimp scampi but with a better sauce. We also ordered the coco bread and beef patty! Both delicious. For the entrees, we ordered the red snapper, wings, stuffed flounder and the Spanish dish with the orzo pasta. No one complained. It came out fast , fresh and flavorful!! I also had a lemon drop flight and idk whether I'm a lush or there wasn't much alcohol in it, but I slurped those down with no buzz. Lastly, we ordered the guava cheesecake. Delicious but small portion tbh. We left before the band started because we had kids with us, but will def return for a night of live music or karaoke. I was shopping at the Mexican grocery store when I noticed a new place that just opened this week. It had a two part, five star glowing review by one reviewer so not much to go on but it was around dinner time and I was hungry so I decided to take a chance and check it out. OMG! No regrets! It was excellent. The space is elegant with dark, moody colors. There were two levels of seating and I opted for a booth that was comfortable and private. I really loved the layout. The staff and my server were friendly and welcoming but not obsequious at all. I felt comfortable and relaxed. The menu is interesting. There are offerings from different countries in each of the sections and every quarter a different country is featured. This first quarter that country is Jamaica. There were some interesting Jamaican influenced offerings like burgers, a curry and a whole roasted fish but the Jammin' Jerk Chicken sandwich caught my eye. It featured shredded jerk chicken, perfectly seasoned, with red cabbage slaw on pillowy coconut bread. It was supposed to come with plantains but they were sold out. This was disappointing because I was really looking forward to the plantains but as soon I took one bite I forgot all about the plantains! The sandwich was next level delicious, comfort food that I didn't know I needed. I will be dreaming about it and will definitely come back before the quarter ends so I can get my next fix. As a side I tried the Jamaican beans and rice, which were very similar to Cuban moros y cristianos, but with a hint of some spice that I couldn't name and forgot to ask about. Was it cardamom? Coriander? Who knows, but it was light and fluffy and perfectly seasoned. It wasn't too crowded when I arrived on a Saturday evening but it was starting to fill up as I was leaving. One of the staff who greeted me said there would be live music and karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays so it will be fun place to go on weekends, but I enjoyed the quiet, lowkey ambiance.
