We were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was great. I can't remember her name but she was from Chicago. Everything we ordered was delicious. The only downfall was the fact that they were out of croissants for the French toast, no mashed potatoes and the green beans were salty.

We stopped in for brunch before heading back to Clt and food was really good and tasty. Service was great and the place looks nice . Highly recommend the Maui Grit Bowl!

We were in town for a convention and thought the menu here looked good. It is not a good sign when you walk up to a brunch spot and there is a security guard letting people in. The staff was pleasant but service was slow. We ordered the jerk chicken panini and croissant french toast. The chicken had a good flavor but was definitely not a panini as it came delivered on a soggy hot dog bun that they didn't even attempt to grill. My croissant french toast was actually 2 hamburger buns fried like French toast. The food was absolutely not as advertised and I feel like I paid downtown menu prices for backyard food. 10 out of 10 will not be returning.

Went for brunch with friends. Sat at the bar. Parking was easy since we were there pretty early, 11am. We did street parking..$4. Regarding the spot, I can't give you a review on a full 'vibe'...like I said we were there early but the music was good and staff. Bartender, Kia, was cool and personable. We did order after a while. The food came out piping hot. Everything was accurate. I will say the only hiccup was a discrepancy regarding unlimited mimosas which was rectified so need to go into detail. I would suggest stopping by.

I found this location on TikTok and decided to try them out for my birthday on 2/15/26, which turned out to be the best decision ever. I had a ladies brunch with 9 of my friends and had an amazing time. When I made my reservation with Kodak, he knew it was my birthday and made sure to give me a birthday drink when I arrived and seated my party and I in an area away from everyone else. The staff were very attentive and our food arrived to the table hot and good! I had the fried catfish and grits which I will definitely recommend. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Kodak even brought out Oreo cheesecake for my birthday. I can truly say Sweet Auburn Brunch helped to make my day special and I will definitely be going back.

Valet parking was available, 5.00. Not sure if this is only a Sunday offer or there norm. We sat at the bar, stopped for drinks only. All were tasty. Our service was shaky but the kindness and apology helped. They had live music which was amazing! I will have to go back to eat. The name change makes me need to see if the food changed, it was good then.

Signage inside

There is a lot of positive things to say about Sweet Auburn Brunch. Parking is available by valet for $5 next door to the establishment. Upon entering the restaurant is beautiful but I felt like it could do with a good mopping the floor looks dirty but I wasn't sure if that was "the look" or not. Our server Roxanne did a great job of serving us. I will say I appreciate servers that clear as they go along and had to ask her to collect the menus and clear our appetizer plates. The food was delicious and everything ordered was hot and tasty. Deviled lobster eggs were good however one had a salmon bite on top and was not replaced ( I didn't appreciate that) but it was delicious. The music was a bit loud and not conducive for conversation but after eating we sang and danced and had a great time.

What a cool place. Discovered it incidentally while in downtown Atlanta. Upscale with a dress code…read morethankfully. The entrance code can be obtained from their website or local hotel concierges. Dial the number on the antique phone and the door magically opens. The staff super friendly and helpful. The bartenders are the best, clearly passionate about their work. I highly encourage you to try one or several of their signature cocktails. I sampled the Left Bank Martini and Vesper. As expected they are fully stocked with Pappy Bourbon, hard to find Amaro Noni. Ask a bartender about the ice block. The place is spacious unlike other speakeasys I've been to. Lots of niche areas with couch reservations, pool table available. No time for a cigar but that is on my list when I return. Food available from their upstairs sister restaurant.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

We found a nice table and ordered a glass of wine. We had every intent of staying and eating, but this atmosphere is not what we had in mind. I felt bad for the musician because nobody was paying attention. Our server disappeared so even if we wanted to stay for more drinks it was a hassle. The bartender finally tracked down our bill and we decided to go elsewhere.

Rather than just finding out, he went ahead and made it and brought it out with the group's drinks. When I saw how good it looked, I decided to order one too. The presentation of the drink was very nice and it had a good creamy flavor to it. This drink was a nice way to wind down the evening. As someone from TX, I did think the drinks were a bit on the pricey side but it's not surprising with it being the ritz. I liked that the bar had a fun yet casual ambiance and there were plenty of people around. We did ask what time last call was and were told midnight so we didn't hurry to order a second drink. Unfortunately, when we ordered another at 10:40... we were told they had closed which was frustrating.

The indoor seating is hit or miss as they have one couch that is really low to the ground and uncomfortable to sit on but the other couches are comfy. The cocktails here are delicious. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!
