Today we're supposed to get snow , but I honestly don't know what time it's going to officially start on my side of town. And knowing how Atlanta can be, I decided to use a little wisdom this morning. Instead of getting out and trying to go grab breakfast, I stayed put and ordered Uber Eats. I said let me sit still, be patient, and not rush out into anything unnecessary. Sometimes God gives you discernment -- and I listened. I ordered from Gut Busters, and when I tell you I haven't eaten there in YEARS... but I was looking for something cheap, filling, and good, and whew ‍ Gut Busters showed up and showed out. The food was hot, seasoned, and heavy in the best way. That kind of breakfast that fills you up and keeps you full. No gimmicks, no playing -- just good food. If you're ever in the mood for a real, hearty, stick-to-your-ribs breakfast, I highly recommend the Gut Busters family. This location is in Decatur, and it definitely did what it needed to do today. The food is delicious! I've been to all 3 locations in the area. Candler Rd location this location and Snellville location. I visited before getting my line up this morning. The food is good and hot. One of the best quality breakfast you can ever get for the quantity. I got my go to meal cheese grits with cheese eggs and a chicken sausage link with toast and grape jelly for $9.00. I always put my eggs in my grits and cut up my sausage and put it in my grits also. This food is so good I almost forgot to take a picture. I got my food on 12-18-2025 for breakfast. One of our favorite places to eat for breakfast in Dekalb County Decatur, Georgia (South side). This is the second location besides Candler Rd. We have eaten with this establishment for years now. The food is cooked to fresh and always delicious no matter what you order. Oh and their punch, you have to order! If I could give zero I would. The GB app is terrible for one, I ordered through the app and received my food with egg shells cooked into the French toast. I substituted eggs and still received them. Upon noticing this, I called the restaurant regarding the egg shells and the eggs not being replaced with potatoes and was told to contact DoorDash because they are the only people able to correct my order due to the store bot having a tablet. I reached out to DoorDash and the rep had to contact the store on my behalf to get my refund which to this day I still have not received or noticed a change in the app order. Staff is very unprofessional and disappointing for you to only have to work until 2:00 pm. Don't waste your money unless you want poorly done, cheap food with an even cheaper experience. read more

Finally made it to Gutbusters today. I've lived nearby for over 4 years. I ordered the combo number 5 with bacon, cheese grits and fried eggs with a biscuit. The service was fast and it was in prime breakfast hours. They cooked the eggs fresh and the portions were very generous. 2 eggs, 5/6 pieces of bacon a medium size container of grits and the biscuit. All if this for just over $8..the biscuit was a little extra as it normally comes with toast. Everything had a good flavor and the the place looked clean. Only go to one on candler rd. We placed and order online burrito combo with cheese grits and grits bowl with pancakes. I did not receive my grits at flat shoals location. I asked for extra salsa and was charged but there was not a salsa in the bag prior. It's just always something. Candler rd location is way better with service and portions. My kid literally stops at the candler road location everyday for breakfast before school. read more
