Early bird
Serene L.

We haven't been here in 7 years, our server told us. Before when we would come, it was always too crowded. Today, we were pleasantly surprised at the plenty of tables available. Tip: come here at 11.15am, the breakfast crowd is gone and before the lunch crowd. We ordered the beinnets, they came hot, flaky and light, dusted with confectioner's sugar and a drizzle of light syrup. So good. You gotta try it. Our mains were the peach waffle and the early bird with a complimentary side of Parmesan fries. We added a coffee and a lavender special drink. The husband's peach waffle was small but was so delicious, he shoveled everything and was stuffed. "Too full" he said. I couldn't finish mine, the chicken was juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The matchstick fries were a lot. I took back half the chicken, the 2 round waffles, the other half mountain of fries. I had to consciously tell myself not to finish everything or I'll be too full to walk, or I might have to run another mile or two to work it all off. Overall, a great meal!

This cafe is located in trendy Kirkwood with both indoor and outdoor seating, and offers delicious and elevated brunch foods. We ordered a couple of small plates to share: the Cajun shrimp fritters and French toast tacos. Both were delicious and we ate every bite. Service and ambiance are flawless. If you're visiting Atlanta, add this gem to your itinerary.

Cool neighborhood kinda SE of town. We caught a good day's weather and sat outside. Martin the server was very nice. We shared the tacos and they were a very nice surprise. The fritter was also a winner.

Great food, great service and great vibe! Would love to come back again! The beignets were amazing and so was my Georgia peach chicken and waffles!

There's a free parking lot, but it's kind of small. We were able to walk in and be seated right away. We sat outside because it was very hot inside. We started with the beignets which were delicious! For entrees we got the short rib & grits and the catfish & grits. Both dishes lacked flavor a little but were decent.

Great food, great ambiance, excellent service! The fried pickled okra was amazing! I also got the fried catfish and grits and a side of cheese eggs today. Earlier this week I got the fried mushrooms and waffle sandwich. Delicious flavors in every dish, I'll be back!

The jalepeno cornbread topped with chicken, avacado, & egg in Cajun sauce. Sooooo good!

The food was beyond compare! The jalepeno cornbread topped with chicken, avacado, & egg in Cajun sauce was mind blowing. We also had the beef short ribs in grits....mouth watering. The French toast egg sandwich was very good as well. I haven't seen such combos in many many years. Service was smooth and welcoming. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing. This is truly a hidden gem! I'll be back!

Cute brunch spot in East Atlanta! My wife and I have made it a tradition to have brunch on New Year's Day, and what better way to start off the year then with some fresh, delicious, beignets. After we git lucky and found a space in the small parking lot adjacent to the building, we waiting a few minutes for our table. We made reservations but since we arrived a bit early, we did need to wait for our actual time. They were very busy but we were seated on time. The restaurant has a front and rear seating section, along with a sizeable covered patio. The front portion of the restaurant (where we were) is bathed in natural light; and has a clean aesthetic. The staff are friendly and helpful. On to the food, the beignets were delicious which is no surprise. The gumbo was flavorful and not too salty, the pesto chicken panini and grit stack were solid choices. The parmesan fries really set it off. I'd return in the spring to experience brunch on the patio.

Martin was a delightful and knowledgable host/waiter. I finally got the opportunity to dine here after passing by on numerous occasions. I enjoyed half of the French Toast Breakfast sandwich, Pear-Apple juice and Aqua Pana, before needing a to-go box. The ambiance is bright and their open kitchen concept is great. I would describe its as a rustic-French influence overall. The floors and restroom could use a serious upgrade.

Everything was divine!! JB (our server) was very hospitable and professional! This is now My New Happy Place!!!!!

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

On my last day in town, October 4, 2026, my family and I wanted to find a special restaurant for breakfast before heading to the airport. We came across The Breakfast Boys and decided to give them a try. When we arrived, there was a line out the door, which immediately told me this place must be doing something right. We decided to wait, and I'm glad we did. I didn't get the name of the host, but she was amazing--professional, organized, and did an excellent job getting everyone seated. Even with the crowd, our wait wasn't long. Once inside, I was surprised to see there was an additional dining room downstairs. We were greeted by our server, Nita, who was outstanding. She knew the menu and was able to explain everything in detail without hesitation. Her timing and service were on point. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, we really didn't have to ask for anything. As a chef, I naturally pay attention to how a restaurant operates, and what really stood out to me was the teamwork. The entire staff was working like a well-oiled machine. The food came out hot, the service was excellent, and everyone in my party was happy with their meal and experience. Before leaving for the airport, I stopped by the restroom. It was fresh, clean, and well maintained. As I walked out, I also looked toward the kitchen and once again noticed the teamwork among the kitchen staff. Before leaving, I made sure to tell the staff how much we enjoyed everything. The Breakfast Boys--you have something great here. Great food, great service, cleanliness, professionalism, and most importantly, teamwork. Keep up the amazing work. I will definitely visit again when I'm back in Atlanta. you're only as good as your last meal. excellent is aways the key. from the front door to the time your last guest leave. This time we decided to eat at the Atlanta location and the vibe was just as chill with a nice cozy fall vibe. The music was just right as it pulls you back to being in your own living room with the 90s R&B playing in the background. We started with peach and pineapple lemonades, followed by the fruit plate before our breakfast entrees. The food truly tasted as good as it looks. Im not a grits girl at all, but I had to try it because the presentation was so esthetically pleasing. I was not disappointed with the combination of fried, and smooth textures and great flavor. The sauce they poured over the grits had all the flavoring needed to take your taste buds on a trip. Then there's the vanilla bean waffle with colossal butterflied fried shrimp. I live for this dish back in N.Y., so this is always a go to meal for me! The shrimp taste so good with a saltiness that brings out the vanilla bean taste of the waffle. Definitely try it out whenever you're in town & remember to make a reservation so you don't have to wait. Paid parking on the side of the building .

They don't have cocktails but there were some tasty mocktails on the menu. My fish and grits came with crawfish and salmon which was perfectly cooked, the grits were so tasty and filling, next we had the crab and crawfish mac and cheese which was also very tasty and delicious, and finally we ordered the fried chicken tacos which were giant and extremely tasty! All in all the food was better than we imagined, there were a couple aesthetic things that could've been improved but it looks like the staff was a bit unorganized in getting the food out, possibly due to a spill or accident that seemed to have happened right before we got there. Bar seating left my glutes and hamstrings a little sore, so hopefully there will be more comfortable seats (and alcohol!) the next time we visit. They were out of a few staple items but all the patrons seemed to be happy with their orders. *Note- Atlanta restaurant with grass walls, fairly cheap parking nearby, mostly friendly staff, no cocktails but the food is delicious! We'll definitely be back!
