When I say what I say next I want to be clear of a few things upfront: The people were polite. The food was served quickly. And honestly I didn't hate it at all. Now my personal take on this restaurant is that you got to set your expectations up front. The place is black and red all over. Very bougiethho (bougie and ghetto at the same time). Which I don't actually find anything wrong with. But this does mean that children and granny alike, birthday parties and solo parties alike are all in this space. We had a hour wait with a reservation and then when done asked (again no rude behavior) to leave immediately for them needing the table. Which felt insane cause while we were done with food we were open to drinking more and spending more but that was missed cause they needed the table. Now as a former restaurant worker and yelp elite I recognize turn over is necessary but I think telling folks "limit on seating upfront" or even some data analytics on how much divide how long someone is at a table before it's worth risking asking the to leave would be highly suggested. The drinks are ALL sweetened. Which as a drinker who does NOT like this was upsetting but it goes with the vibe right. For me the price vs the amount of food was 50/50. They not stingy with the food at all. But the prices still up there. Although trying the oxtails they owned that it was amazing. Also lived there fried chicken. The drinks like I said not my taste not bad. Also a bit pricey and the menu a bit difficult to read. All this to say would I return? Absolutely! I just would set expectations up a bit differently for myself. Maybe come on not a weekend. The space was clean and they were cleaning at all times. They forgot knives when we ordered things that had to be cut. It was giving "we thought of everything you could complain about out as black owned business and got you but also we got to make money". Which is not inherently bad at all. Just because they are not you traditional brunching experience I don't think they should be considered bad. I recently visited T's Brunch Bar in Midtown to celebrate my son's birthday with the family ,and overall, it was a lively and enjoyable experience with a few highs and a few misses. From the moment we walked in, the hostess set the tone she was absolutely amazing, warm, and welcoming. The DJ was on point, spinning the best in R&B and top hits, which added to the upbeat, party-style atmosphere that T's is known for. When it came to the food, the presentation was beautiful, and everything hit the table, looking delicious. Most of the dishes lived up to the visual hype ,especially the fish, shrimp & grits, chicken wings, pork chops, and salmon croquettes, which were all flavorful and well-executed. The appetizers were also solid standouts: the seafood deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, catfish nuggets, and beignets were all hits with our table. Now, as a self-proclaimed oxtail girl all day, every day, I was really looking forward to the oxtail omelet and another oxtail dish, but unfortunately, that's where things fell horribly short. Both dishes were heavy on gravy but seriously lacking in actual oxtail meat, which was disappointing. I did not get what I paid for. The yams were another letdown , bland and under-seasoned. When I requested to have the additional side of yams taken off the bill after tasting them, the chef or kitchen manager came out and explained that they don't remove items due to personal preference. I respected the policy and let it go, though it made me hesitant to bring up the issue with the oxtail. Despite the hiccups, the overall vibe, service, and most of the food were good. The grits are also cheesy and hearty as a side, but could have benefited from some kind of vegetable to balance the heaviness of the dish. My friends enjoyed their French toast platter as well as the breakfast potatoes. I personally found the French toast to be a little bit on the dry side. Dessert was sharing T's Beignets which we requested to come out after finishing our main courses. The staff happily oblige and brought them out fresh from their kitchen after we were done. 10 out of 10! I saw this place when I was driving down Peachtree and man I said I want to try it. Surprisely enough, my besties took me here for my birthday brunch. The food was sooo good. So good amount plus not your typical mimosa with just champagne, also had vodka in it for extra booze. We ordered the salmon croquettes breakfast, the breakfast croissant, and also the catfish plate. Food came out fast and fresh. We did have to send the catfish back because it was not fried hard as we requested but the waitress was polite and manager made sure to stop by and apologize for the inconvenience. My friend was in town and mentioned that she wanted to try this place out. So I said Sure, why not? We just saw Beyoncé the night before, the weather was nice, and who doesn't love a good black-owned brunch spot! Well, against one of my friends' advice, my out-of-towner and I made the drive, found a parking lot that offers validation, and were greeted at the door by the sounds of a live DJ at around 4:10 PM. They close at 5 PM on Saturdays, but the staff was welcoming, and the manager moved pretty quickly to get us seated. Okay, so we're off to a good start, right? Wait, hold my beer ... Our server immediately informed us that they were out of grits. No biggie, it's now closer to 5 PM, so we understood that pickings could be slim, we're not the kind of people who complain about everything - we moved on. My friend ordered Granny's Fried Chicken dinner, and I got the fried pork chop dinner, where we both ordered 2 sides: collard greens, breakfast potatoes, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. Now this is where the roller coaster took a dip for no reason. Still, hold my beer! The dishes come out, and everything looks good. The first thing I taste is my breakfast potatoes - SALTY! So I think to myself, well maybe they got a spoonful that had more seasoning than the others, let me try again - STILL SALTY! I take a forkful of the greens - SALTY! Now, at this point, I'm wondering if I have a low salt tolerance, and I ask my friend how her greens were. Her first taste, she said, they were ok, but the more she ate, the saltier they became. I tasted hers, and she tasted mine - IT'S A SALT LICK on a plate! The pork chop was fried and covered in a lot of batter, so much so that I had to peel some off to get to the actual meat. The batter was salty, but the meat was SLAMMIN! It was tender and well seasoned (as it should be since it was coated in salt). My friend's chicken lacked flavor, but the frying on it was borderline salty, and the same goes for the mac & cheese! Both were pretty flavorless, so I guess the salt was meant to be the main source of flavor. At one point, the manager comes to check on us, and we let him know that the greens are SUPER salty. He looks and says, "Ohhhhhh NOOOOOOO, don't say that," and says he'll go check on it. This man NEVER returned! Our server comes to check on us, so we air our grievances with her - we were served SALT LICK ON A PLATTER, where I only ate one of my chops, and the biscuit. Both of my sides were hardly touched. She apologizes and speaks with the manager, only to return saying there's nothing they can do, and proceeds to place out tickets on the table. Okay, let me have a swig of my beer, because this is the part of the ride at the amusement park that just goes off the rails. I tell the server that being told there's nothing that can be done is unacceptable when I've only eaten 10% of the meal, with the rest being inedible. I asked to speak to the manager myself, and here comes this chick who told us, "I understand what you're saying, but everyone's tastes are different (meaning taste buds can vary). I explain that my friend and I are not the same, so for both of us to detect over-salted food, it should tell you something. The manager goes on to say, "I can't comp the whole ticket, but I can give you a LITTLE discount on it." I ask how much of a discount? She says 15%!!!! For real, let me finish this beer, because now I'm insulted by her offering to comp the sales tax! I look at her in disbelief and say, "You won't EVERRRRRRR have to worry about me returning, because the food sucks and so does the customer service! So she corrected my ticket, and sure enough, there was $3 discount. HA! Our server was VERY apologetic, and we understand it wasn't her fault, but since she's the face we see throughout our experience, it does make her look bad when management won't even make it right for something they know they were in the wrong. It was said that the seasoning could have settled by the end of the day, but now you're telling on yourself, because you admitted you're serving stale food. Either you keep fresh food ready, or you have a cutoff for when certain items are served if they're not up to standard. FYI, 18% gratuity is already calculated in your total, so that eliminated me having to overcompensate our server who was just doing her job. I find it very suspect how we were welcomed with open arms, but staff could give a monkey's right paw about our dining experience as long I find it very s.as they collected their money! I hate to say this, but this is part of the problem we have with black owned establishments. Their primary concern is quantity over quality, and it's sad because I want to support, but they make it extremely hard to do. I know they have several locations around the Atlanta Metro, but this is a TERRIBLE representation of the brand, so I do hope the management/owner sees this and makes the necessary adjustments/corrections for all locations. read more

Visiting the area for work and T's was close to my hotel. Took a look at the reviews as well as their IG page and I was sold. The food and atmosphere was perfect. Being able to jam to the music you love hearing on a regular basis and eating, chef's kiss. Our server was awesome and made sure my son was accommodated even though he wouldn't be eating. My husband and I had a really hard time choosing what to pick, because EVERYTHING looked so good. He ultimately settled on the French toast chicken sandwich and I got the The Marta (Jumbo Shirmp, catfish filet, grits, and strawberry waffle). Instead of providing basic hospitality, she made me feel unwelcome as a paying customer. When I expressed concern about her behavior, her shocking response was, " If you don't like how I am, you don't have to come back." This type of comment is completely unprofessional and shows a total lack of regard for customers. Because of this experience I will not recommend T's Brunch Bar to anyone, especially as long as Pam G is employed as a bartender/ server. No customer should ever be treated this way, regardless of the situation. Management need to address this immediately if they care about maintaining the restaurant's reputation and customer loyalty. Dee was great! Great food and atmosphere. The food came out at a decent temperature and was delicious.

We dined there yesterday for lunch. My business partner had praised it, having gone once earlier this year. I was excited to try it because I had seen other mentions of it. THE GOOD: They have a connected parking garage in the building, which is great for that area. Even with a validated ticket, we had to pay $14 to get out of the garage. Not quite sure why that was the case. The restaurant has a nice and welcoming decor that matches the breakfast and brunch theme. The other customers seemed to have pleasant experiences. The biscuits were top tier. I enjoyed the music playing throughout the establishment. THE BAD: My friend ordered chicken and waffles with a red velvet waffle. She asked if they had cream cheese for the top and was told they had none. Yet, right after she finished, someone at the next table was served one with cream cheese on top. As someone stated in an earlier review, both the collard greens and oxtails were too salty. They need to adjust the light timer in the ladies room. By the time you get into a stall good, you find yourself in complete darkness and have to guide yourself out to get it back on. Easy fix! THE UGLY: It took more than 20 minutes before our waitress took our drink orders and at least 30 to take our food orders. Luckily, we were not in a rush but for those who were, it was ridiculous. I ordered a fried pork chop entree and was informed the cook had dropped one of them so they had to start over. Both of them were overcooked and tough to chew. I had asked if they were tender because I currently have a broken arm and cannot cut food. I am typing this review with one finger. Our waitress never asked if we needed additional drinks and spent a lot of time socializing with others. The other servers were moving swiftly and efficiently and I wanted to ask one of them if he could be ours. The most ridiculous thing is that they "don't have tap water" so their small, branded bottles of water cost more than $6 each including tax and the mandatory 18% gratuity on all checks.
