Made to order sign. And yes they do!.....3/5/2019
    Kesht R.

I finally made it here on 3/5/2019. Someone told me about Stem's over a year ago. Can't believe I've driven by here a hundred times or more and didn't know it existed. It's a tiny whole in wall next to the Florist. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Well I wasn't sure what to get. So for nostalgia I ordered red link split with everything (mustard, ketchup, chili, and onions). The hot dog buns was lightly grilled (toasted). Hand cut fries were great. The special comes with that and a can soda for $5.75 +tax. I also ordered a side of grits. No flavor--but that was fine because I was able to fix it up the way I like when I ate it later. The staff was nice. I will definitely be back. I wish they had longer hours but oh well... I'll get it in when I can.

I'd travel for great food! Thumbs up to "Stem's Cafe!" I walked into such a pleasant and homely atmosphere. Ms. D was so welcoming, felt like I was home. The aroma was like my grandmothers kitchen! I ordered: salmon patty, I say "croquettes," cheese grits, scrambled eggs and toast!!! If you're in metro Atlanta or surrounding area and you want some good southern home cooking, just "branch" out to Stem's! No disappointment here!!!

Everything is cooked to order. This place was booming . Uber Eats orders coming in back to back . I waited 20 mins for our food to be cook . Everything was fresh and delicious . I will be back to try their salmon breakfast patties and other items on the menu . It's very easy to miss the location . It's next door to a floral place . They accept cards and cash . If you do not have time to wait for your food please do not order . It's back owned

I love this little restaurant. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots on the southside. The parking is tight, tight, tight and they cook their food as ordered so call ahead to get a jump on it. One thing I really like is that the employees are always friendly...never a bad attitude or an employee that wishes they were somewhere else. Food is excellent. There were a few hiccups when I ordered cheese in my grits or eggs and never got it. This happened when ordering through Uber Eats. I kindly asked for that to be refunded and they obliged. I've tried different things on their menu...my favorite being their Omelets and Salmon Patties.

To each their own. You know how you can tell how good a resturant will be by how many customers? There was a steady stream of customers. The inside of the resturant is small and was packed continuously. However, this spot is not for me or my family. We waited over 40-45 mins, when we were told only 20-25 minutes. We ordered three meals for breakfast. Each meal came with the 3 pancakes and a meat, everything else we wanted had to be ordered on the side. So, we ordered 3 side scrambled eggs with cheese, two sides of homestyle potatoes and one side of grits. I wish my husband could get his money back. My husband rarely complains, especially about food. The pancakes tasted greasy and were VERY thick, like hard to swallow without taking a sip of a drink thick. The potatoes are difficult to describe..they were bland and two minutes from becoming mashed potatoes if they cooked any longer. You see the small helping in the picture? The potatoes were $4.00, the eggs, another small helping cost $2.50 and were also bland. My husband also said the grits were bland. The food look good in the picture doesn't it ? Well, save your time and definitely save your money. Our food went right in the trash. Maybe some of the other menu items are delicious. However, I am not going to be the one to try and find out if they are. Needless to say, this was our first time and last time dining at this resturant. If I could give zero stars I would.

Club croissant so delicious! Comes with fries canned soda of your choice. Sandwich has lettuce, tomato, ham, turkey, cheese, and bacon.

Small place, to go orders mostly. Small lunch counter on the side with 3 stainless steel stools. The food is good. Breakfast and Lunch Staple on Campbellton Rd. I would try this place again.

Title: Flavor Explosion, Soulful Hospitality & a Last-Minute Meal That Turned Magical…read more Let me just say this: what started as a "quick bite before closing" turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. We arrived at The Poach Social about 20 minutes before closing, unsure if we'd be rushed--but instead, we were welcomed with warmth and ease. Lived the ambiance. Hunter, our server, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel taken care of from the very start. Then came Victor, the owner and chef--and this is where things shifted from good to special. Without us even asking, he recommended a mocktail that felt like it was made just for me: a sorrel-based drink layered with ginger, spice, herbs, and fresh fruit. It was refreshing, balanced, and honestly one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I've had. We started with the jerk egg rolls... and I'm not exaggerating when I say we were clapping after the first bite. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, with a sweet-spicy sauce that just worked. We immediately knew we'd be taking more to go. For the main course, we ordered the Poach Social breakfast plate and the blackened salmon with polenta. The breakfast plate was comforting and well-executed, but the salmon dish? Absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth texture, with creamy polenta and a rich sauce that brought everything together. It was a full-on flavor experience. The timing of everything--from drinks to apps to entrées--was seamless. Hunter checked in at the perfect moments, never too much, never too little. We ended up in a lovely conversation with Victor, who is not only talented but genuinely kind and passionate. He brought us complimentary slices of carrot cake, and even though we were already full... we ate every bite. No regrets. It was phenomenal. What I loved most is that this place doesn't just serve food--it creates an experience. There's intention, care, and heart behind everything. If you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and go. This place deserves to thrive. We will absolutely be back.

The food was very good, but it did take a little time. I believe because it's a scratch kitchen. It was worth the wait. Our servers name was Langston and he took really good care of us. He made sure to check on us and explain the menu as well. Our drinks did take a lot more time to get to the table. It's a cute and trendy place, but the only thing I would change was the placing of tables because when people are passing by, it was very difficult. If someone was in a wheelchair, it could be a problem getting into the tight spaces. The last thing would also be drink order is coming out in a timely manner. Overall, service was great and food was very good.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.
