The salads are delicious with a variety of lettuce bases and many tasty toppings to choose from. You can create your own bowl or select a from common salads, such as Cobb, etc. The salads come in regular and large. There was plenty in the large for 2 meals for me, but I ate far too much of it during a single setting as it was so good! In addition to salads, they also offer delicious Haitian based fare. I sampled the rice and beans and it was A1! Wait staff was kind and accommodating. I believe they are currently taking orders via the online site but will answer any questions you have in store. I absolutely love this spot! Freshest Salad Bar is the only salad bar near me with butternut squash, Haitian rice and maple wings! There are so many winning combinations to try from their offerings. I typically get a large steak salad with a gang of toppings (you can diy a salad or bowl or get a specialty salad or bowl) or maple wings with a side diy salad and hella toppings. I just unlocked a new combination and I gotta tell y'all about it: aight so boom I got Haitian rice base, with salad ( lettuces) & toppings and chicken (Caesar dressing)...it was everything!!! I'm eating it as I type because it's so good. Other details: it is situated in a large plaza near Publix, there is plenty of parking. They close fairly early so keep that in mind. I am sooo excited that we have such a tasty and BLACK owned business in south Fulton!! I tried to come here last week, but came maybe 30 minutes after closing. So, I came again because the great reviews and I was really wanting a yummy salad. I literally stood outside waiting until the lock clicked open at 11:30am. It's extremely clean, modern and I was greeted as soon as I entered. The menu and pricing model is very clear and prominent, which I appreciate as a detail-oriented person. I got n Caesar salad and added chicken to it. YUMMY. The chicken was hot, well seasoned, and lettuce was fresh and bright. Very impressed and I savored that thang but couldn't leave a morsel. I'm glad that one of my fellow South Fulton neighbors took a chance on herself and opened up a business so many were asking for for years, and during the pandemic nonetheless! I have actually visited this location twice and they have come a long way from when they opened. They are similar to Salata or any other salad bar place where you choose your size ($7.50 or $10.50) and then your protein determines your end price. I chose to build my own salad and add salmon. The large portion is enough for two salads if you eat like me, lol. However I will say it was outside of my norm to spend $26 on a salad and a drink lol, but I will do what I need to do to support this neighbor-owned, black owned business. My food was fresh and good. Met a friend here for lunch. We stopped in around 1:30pm to grab a salad. It is in the shopping center with a Publix, so ample parking. There are some tables inside to sat at if you want to dine in or you can take it to go. This was our first time here, so we didn't know how the process worked. We stood there for a minute or two and then the young lady behind the counter said order at the kiosk when you're ready! A hi or hello would have been nice. So grabbed a menu to look at the options. I had decided I was going to order the southwest salad with the salmon. Went to the kiosk to begin my order and they were out of salmon and shrimp, so my protein options were chicken and steak. I went with the chicken and then I added avocado to my salad. Once I completed my order and paid, I sat at a table to wait for it to be prepared. The young lady then said excuse me and was motioning to me to walk over and let me know that they were also out of avocado and said she would refund me for it. She gave me back $2 in cash for not having the avocado. About 7 to 10 minutes later, my salad was ready. The chicken came in the side wrapped in foil, so I opened that up and poured it on top of the salad along with the dressing. The salad ingredients, dressing and the chicken were flavorful. Hey I wanted to like this place. We ordered tacos and chicken salad via Postmates. There was a huge issue with Postmates that we had to resolve by calling them as the food wasn't ready when Postmates got there. Then the food finally arrives after about 45 minutes (we live about 3 minutes away) and there was no chicken on the salad! I reached out to the owner, she said she'd make it up to me, but didn't follow through. I give 2 stars because the food was good, but really poor service here. I can't go back due to principle. My godmother and I went here today because her daughter in law raved about it. It wasn't super busy but I noticed it was black and I think woman-owned, which was great. The person making our salad was patient and they had so many options. I got a small salad and my godmother got a large. I got shrimp on the side and she got a black bean burger on the side. I thought it was delicious and they had so many drink options too. They had chicken wings as a protein, which I thought was really cool and the proteins we ordered were fresh to order. when they first started, the food was excellent and plentiful. when they increased their prices I understood that. But when the quality of the food changed, I wasn't happy. I purchased two build your own salad, two proteins (grilled chicken) at six dollars each, two extra toppings (each .75) one jerk sauce.75. Subtotal; 37.25 and total: 40.14. Also, they have changed the containers to some black styrofoam, unhealthy and highly unsafe for the environment containers. And I inquired about the Haitian rice bowl and it costs nine dollars for the rice alone! You have to pay extra for the protein and they give you a small portion of rice. The salad bar is packed with all kinds of fresh options. From butternut squash, to pumpkin seeds, feta, to turkey or pork bacon, and everything between. You've got options. You can go the vegetarian or vegan route or opt to add salmon, steak, chicken, shrimp, or tofu to add some protein. Then you can select one of their fresh housemate salad dressings. My husband and I opted for the cobb salmon salad & build your own salad (salmon, roasted corn, butternut squash, bacon, feta, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, red onion, cucumber, bell peppers, and the house lemon vinaigrette). Neither of which let us down. I highly recommend both options. The crunchy leafy arugula and spring mixed topped with all the fresh crisp veggies and the well seasoned fresh salmon fillet was a welcomed change of pace for our "grab a quick bite to eat" we were making between running our errands. The whole tab came to $30 which is outstanding considering we both had what most places deem a "premium" protein option. Also the fact that you aren't charged per veggie topping when building your own salad is another added bonus. I was immediately greeted by the front staff when I arrived and the customer service was exceptional overall. I'm not a vegetarian that's really big on eating a bunch of salads, because I find most salads to be severely lacking or disappointing, as far as actually being able to constitute a satisfying and fulfilling meal, but TFSB was up to the task, and I even got the smaller size. I went with the Greek Salad with tofu and the tofu appeared to be marinated and maybe lightly grilled somewhere along the way, but either way, it definitely didn't fall short in the taste department and tofu can be "Hit-or-Miss" that way, depending on who's preparing it. They have tons of fresh options for your base, from the more hearty greens like kale, arugula and spinach and your standard issue Romaine. You then have an ample variety of toppings and dressings, whether you create your own salad or go with a regular menu salad option. There are many different choices to customize a perfect meal, whether it is a salad, wrap, tacos, or a rice bowl. Everything was made to order, super fresh and tasty. The Southwest salad was very tasty with just the right amount of spice/heat, the Cobb salad was delicious, and their fresh baked cookies were a great way to finish the meal.
