Recently I was out running errands I was craving a salad. There's really nothing like a cold, crunchy, bowl of veggies on a hot day! Unfortunately, there aren't enough fast food joints with a focus on fresh salads but lucky for me, Doc Green's was right on my pathway for the day. Located in a huge plaza in Smyrna, Doc Green's is a salad lovers dream. I can't believe this was my first visit! The restaurant itself is narrow but long, offering plenty of seating in the back of the place, as well as the entryway. Doc Green's is actually paired with another restaurant it seems, but I was focused on the salad. They have some recommended combos but you can also create your own with a wide array of toppings. I was in heaven looking at all of the fresh veggies, proteins and dressings available. I decided to create my own and just went wild. I was super bummed because I ended up forgetting some favorites (like avocado) because I didn't see/notice them on the cold bar. I chose my dressings, had it mixed up and then checked out. I opted for a fountain drink and unfortunately, the lemonade was toooooo sweet. But that was the only downside because my salad was wonderful!! Everything was fresh, the portions were generous and I felt like I got my money's worth. Great restaurant with lots of vegan options. Large menu that was actually confusing I got a salad that was really delicious They have wraps, bowls, salads and really so many things. All of the things on the menu looked really good and when I go back I will try something new! Price was a little high but I think that was reflective of the high quality ingredients. I had a taste for a wrap and decided to check out this location. Very clean on the inside. Employees were very kind. I ordered a salmon Caesar salad wrap which came with chips. I thought this was a great option for a fast casual meal that is relatively healthy. They have a pretty big menu. They are very efficient and fast at making your food and the workers are very nice. I took mine to go, but the place looked clean inside plenty of parking outside. I ended up getting a chicken Panini of some sort and really enjoyed it! This was my first time at this location. I have visited many times at the old one. The salads are always good and fresh. I love how they serve their protein hot. I did feel a little rushed when ordering but the customer service was good. The only Con is they only allow you up to 5 toppings. I would definitely go back. It's definitely a little on the pricier side ($20 total for my salad), the quality was great and it was super fresh. Lots of parking available out front, I was able to easily get in and out since I did a pickup order. The only thing is, you can only order online and not on the phone so I was worried they would not complete my special request (which was to swap the salmon with steak) but they did since those 2 items are the same price. Doc Greens just moved to locations right up the street from their previous location and I can't get over the aesthetics! It such a refreshing look and vibe in there. I've gone 3 times since they've opened! First day I got my favorite which is the Dr. Buffalo and decided to eat it there instead of to go like a normally do, because I just wanted to take in the ambience of the new location. The past two days me and my boy friend got the California chicken panini and it is too good I might just be back to tomorrow for lunch to comfort my Monday blues. The filets of salmon for our paninis were thrown onto the grill as soon as we placed the order, and the man who took our order checked in with us about whether we were okay with the standard toppings (aioli, lettuce, tomato, and red onion) before assembling them. Our salmon paninis were fresh and tasty, if a little small (both of us were left just shy of that 'completely full' feeling after our meal), and they came with a choice of side - chips, pasta salad, potato salad, or an apple. The pasta salad was unfortunately a little bland, but we appreciated the variety of sides available nonetheless (their other sides are available for an upcharge). With a plant-filled interior and available outdoor seating on a deck with strung lights, Doc Green's offers plenty of seating choices. I have been passing this place for 2 years now, but I do not like the strip mall area it's in, parking is tiny and too congested for my preferences and tolerance, so I never got a chance to visit. However, i saw it listed as a fast healthy option on DoorDash last night, so I finally got my chance to try out Doc Greens. The salmon panini was good, hot, and fresh. The build your own salad was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I selected egg as one of the toppings, but there was absolutely NO EGG on the salad at all. Tomato was the second topping (of 5) that I selected and there was literally 2 very tiny of the tiniest specks of tomato, like the size of a piece of lint. I am so upset! I received basically a bowl full of dry lettuce! You could even tell the cucumbers were old, they looked awful. Complete waste of money, I want that refunded! I would have been better off buying a pre-made salad from Publix for $6.99-$7.99 as they have way more toppings on it. Horrible first experience ordering from Doc Greens. I stopped by one weekday afternoon for a late lunch. The place wasn't super busy, but I saw a lot of people go in and out for takeout orders. I was greeted as soon as I entered. I decided to go with a build-your-own salad. I chose a spinach and kale base, tofu as the protein, cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, feta cheese, artichokes and Athenian Greek dressing. They had to cook the tofu which took a few minutes but I didn't mind. I prefer my tofu warm anyway. A few minutes later, they said my order was ready. I took my bowl to go and opened it as soon as I got to my car. My bowl was filled to the brim! They didn't skimp on protein or veggies. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was very filling. Even though I was hungry, I couldn't eat it all. I saved about half for later. The prices are very reasonable. I would definitely order from Doc Green's again. read more

I always get the same salad, the tomahawk chop and I order from Uber Eats. The last two times now the chicken has been undercooked. This time not only was the chicken under done, but I ordered without wonton noodles or the black bean corn salsa and no dressing. Yep, got all of them.
