    Loaded Avocado Toast Points
    Michel S.

Food Waiter Hostess Cleaness I wanted to try a new place and what better place than a small business. It was a cool little restaurant and very busy. Clearly people love this place. I the food was good, Alex did a great job serving and the ambiance was popping. The avocado toast was tasty and filling. The downside was the host as she was not familiar with the process or at least it was the perception. People were getting seated and there was little to no communications. She never asked me for my name or anything but was keeping track of the people. Very confusing the seating situation. I spoke with the manager (owner) and told her about my experience and how to prevent additional confusion for the first timers. She was great and very apologetic. Not sure that I will be coming back but worth the try.

    Strawberry Sangria

This was a random stop for a weekday brunch. The service was good but the food left us a bit disappointed. My avocado + bacon burrito was decent. But the bowl had to be doctored up in order to be somewhat flavorful. We also tried the strawberry sangria, which was just ok and not worth $30. The restaurant was cute, though!

    Mahi Tacos

First time here and came ad a walk-in on a late Saturday morning. We were looking for a place with more healthy options when eating out and that is really hard to come by. When we arrived we were able to be seated and started with drinks within a few minutes. The menu definitely had healthy options we were looking for but nothing super creative. I decide to try the Mahi tacos based on the servers recommendation. They came out quickly and were nice and hot. As for taste, it was not really pleasant. The fish was way overcooked and instead of tasting blackened, all you can taste was salt. Disappointing because I love fish tacos. Glad we gave them a shot but not the greatest food experience.

Good Kitchen is a pretty solid neighborhood gem. My husband and I have been going since they first opened and have enjoyed watching them grow and thrive. We recently visited and it did not disappoint. We opted to sit outside and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We started off ordering a mocha coffee and a restore juice. Both were really good drinks. We also ordered a chicken sausage burrito, carnivore bowl with an extra side of chicken sausage and a side of hash browns. Everything was super fresh, hot, and delicious. The service was great! Even though we sat outside, our waiter kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Good Kitchen, make sure you check them out!

What a gem! I found this place because of the ratings on yelp and it did not disappoint. I was there with five people. We each got something different and everyone loved what they had. The Smashburger was a hit. The curry chicken bowl was delicious. I had a steak sandwich on sourdough that was phenomenal. I love that they use organic ingredients and grass fed beef. I just can't recommend this place enough!

Iced mango matcha latte with coconut milk

This place is such a gem. My daughter and I went here for breakfast. The place is clean and quiet. No loud music. There's even a small area for young children to play while waiting. There was no wait for us at all. Luke was our server and was so kind. We had menus and a Look Book which helped my daughter see what each menu item would look like. Very helpful for picky eaters. We didn't wait very long for our food at all. The veggie bowl AMAZING. Normally I add salt and pepper but it was not needed at all. My daughter devoured her carnivore bowl. The matcha latte was okay. It didn't quite look like the picture display but it's the typical matcha taste. No mango flavor at all. We will definitely be back for breakfast again. The service and food were great!

Avocado BLT Salad with a fried egg

This was my 2nd time dining in and I truly enjoy this place. Wholesome, good ingredients and great tasting food. The service is casual and hands-on. The drink special wasn't available so they created a new drink for me (lavender lemonade). Also, they explained the brew or wine flights ($15). I decided on the Avocado BLT salad for a heavier lunch. I added an egg for my protein instead of chicken, salmon or steak. When you add proteins the costs can get pricey. Everything was delicious and other patrons were super friendly. This location is smaller compared to Marietta however it's well lit, cozy and perfect place to get a healthier meal in downtown Smyrna. I plan to pop in more often and bring some friends!

    Three sides

Friendly and welcoming staff. Food was good but I was hoping for a more old-school breakfast experience. So I ordered all sides in order to have bacon and eggs with hash browns. They were good but I'm sure the other items on the menu are where the love is. Next time I'll try one of those. Still I enjoyed my time there and the food. Give it a try!

After being seated just before 3pm, it took almost an hour to even get beignets. I had to ask for water for our table because our waitress was all over the place and forgot. Our silverware had only knives (2 in one) no forks. Our orders were the simplest thing (avocado toast, eggs, bacon, coffee) and we didn't get the beignets until almost 3:45pm. It wasn't even busy the way I've seen it be on other weekends so the delay for a such a small party seemed odd. Multiple tables around us had theirs before our waitress even remembered to bring fried bread? Wild. I asked if the egg that was part of my meal was boiled, they said it was poached and surprise -- it was boiled. So they didn't know the menu. My food was obviously put together quickly (after complaining about the wait to the manager) and was so bland, I don't see the point in coming back. I know they have better dishes, but the simple ones shouldn't be that complicated. The whole situation made no sense from the beginning to end. It's ironic that the manager said we would be in great hands as we got seated, because my experience was anything but great. Two stars because they were at least polite about it, but that was ridiculous.

I was greeted right away and had the option of a table or patio seating, although it was a nice morning I chose to stay inside to dine. My table was right by the bar. Other guests were sitting at the bar having a lively conversation, but not too loud where it disturbed others. All staff was helpful and friendly Saniya took great care of me. Started with Caramel Coffee-J added 2 hazelnut and 1 vanilla cream.. no need for sugar.. this coffee was divine. Scanned over the menu.. I decided on the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler--scrambled eggs, spinach, bacon, onions, topped with Monterey Jack cheese..I added mushrooms. Nice blend of everything scrambled just right. Omelette and Scramblers served with choice of grits or potatos and a English muffin. I got the grits.. they were nice and creamy. Of course I added a little butter and Sugar (don't judge me..go judge a pageant, lol) Nice spot for Brunch they offer spiked coffee drinks and other . mixed cocktails. Plenty of seating inside. Got to the table and the cushion we sit on was so torn up on the top. This should have been our first warning. Next they brought a high chair. I cleaned it with a wet wipe, which started as a white wet wipe and ended up being gray and nasty and I only wiped the upper half of the highchair. I had the Shrimp Benny which was served on grilled focaccia bread, but it came really soggy and had a large piece of an eggshell in my poached egg. The shrimp was nicely cooked. Spouse had a gravy biscuit dish and it barely had any gravy and ordered an upgraded grits bowl that came with burnt bacon and served lukewarm and fried chicken tenders that was so hard that they couldn't be eaten. The men's bathroom was disgusting. The sink was full of water and wouldn't drain. We will not be back and we will not recommend it to friends nor any enemy

Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.
