What a wonderful little hidden gem! so happy we found this spot for brunch. We had the charcuterie board and steak kabobs to start and let me tell y'all WOW! My husband and I both had egg bowls with hash browns and a protein and it was super good. What can I say that isn't all raving about this place? I absolutely love Good Kitchen since stumbling upon it back in late spring. I've met the most amazing friend there to boot! The foods I've gotten to experience through ordering there have not missed. Granted I have had an experience or two where I think I've ordered the same thing so much that I needed a break from that particular item in order to experience it tasting new and fresh to me again. Good Kitchen off Atlanta Rd is the only location of the two that I have patronized. The staff here are all so friendly and diverse. The food comes out wonderfully presented, always hot and so flavorful. Hands down I'm a bowl girl! I've had quite a few versions of the one pictured. I also enjoy their gluten-free pancakes on occasion. The portions are plentiful. They also offer a diverse drink menu as well. I always gravitate toward the breakfast items. However, they offer lunch style options all day as well. It's a shame that the name isn't "Great Kitchen" because they really do make great selections to choose from. read more

My husband and I visited the good kitchen for brunch one morning soon after they had opened. We didn't know what to expect and were confused by the ordering system, but it was easy to catch on once we got our smartphones out. The system allows you to order on your phone and pay on your phone, and then food is brought out to you by the staff. But, if you would prefer to order the old school away, the staff is more than happy to help you out! My husband and I both got breakfast bowls and were impressed that they did not skip out on the bacon! Usually kitchens are reserved with the good stuff, but there was plenty of that caught bacon and both my husband and I felt full as we left. I appreciated the delicious and healthy menu options and would be happy to visit again. The dining room is small, so keep an eye out for busy visiting times. read more

We came here the day after Christmas because quite frankly, who wants to cook on that day? Brought our 3 kids for lunch, which if you have all kids 5 & under you understand the anxiety of eating out with them never knowing what to expect sometimes. Right when we sat down they brought the kids colored pencils, coloring papers, a basket of books with great motor skill games inside. The service was amazing and everyone was SO KIND. The menu is the perfect length, not too much and not too little. They serve breakfast all day which was a hit for our two pancake loving boys. I had the spicy chicken sandwich on brioche and it was 10/10 fabulous. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and the sauce was the right amount of spicy. My husband had the avocado toast and said he could've eaten 5 of them. He also had the bowl with avocado, egg, and sausage and ate every bite. My husband who never remarks about places goes: "They won't stay here long, they'll have to expand." In his book that's about as high as compliments go. Overall the service and food was great. We really enjoyed being able to have a filling meal without feeling like we were stuffed full of crap. We will certainly be back, a pleasant addition to the Smyrna square! read more

Food is good, but customer service is not up to par. I visited the restaurant on Friday 7/11/25 and Sunday 7/13/25. I decided to revisit on today and use my rewards just to be told that they do not have an account with my number and there are no rewards. Then she stated that some other name shows up when my past receipts are scanned and nothing shows up when my number is put in. I asked for the manager and she stated that she was the manager. She also said she could not offer me any rewards even though my Friday receipts $7.00 in rewards. People choose some establishments for the rewards. I need them to rectify this matter. Today I received a text welcoming me to Good Kitchen, even though this is my third time at this location and I have visited the Marietta location once in May. Each time I share my phone number. Where are my rewards? Are the employees lying or altering customer accounts? This is strange. read more

Food is good. Especially enjoyed the avocado toast. Only down side is the grits have been inconsistent. Very runny/watery the last time. It was a to go order so didn't realize it until I had left the restaurant. Disappointed they would sell those grits like that. I also love that they see sugar free chocolate mousse, however it is also inconsistent. Sometimes the monk fruit had been dissolved completely so the mousse is not smooth. My family and I stumbled upon Good Kitchen and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious and the environment is very inviting. We are vegan so we were very happy to see that they have a dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu. We had the bread basket, piccata cauliflower steak, and the coconut curry bowl. Everything was tasty, flavorful and the portion size was great. The staff was attentive and very helpful as we asked which vegan dishes were the most popular.
