Hot Honey tofu Hummus Bowl
Aparajita S.

I came here with a coworker after telling her about the Alpharetta location. I was happy to see that there was one in Smyrna and quite spacious! The interior was nicely decorated and staff were super helpful in making my decision. I went with the hot honey bowl with tofu and loved the crispness of the tofu! It was seasoned super well and all the components complemented the dish really well. The bowl was super filling for the price and loved the pita crisps on the side for an additional crunch! If you're looking for a healthy meal, give this spot a chance for a delicious and filling meal!

My friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner and we came across this restaurant. I ordered the tuna sandwich and my friend ordered a salad. The staff was very helpful when they saw that we were taking a bit longer the young lady came out and explained the menu. Once we placed our ordered we sat down as they brought the meals to us. They have all kinds of drinks and the menu is very vast to accommodate the different tastes. The store is wide open and lots of light comes in to the store. Overall, they have a good menu that will adjust to any taste or preference. The staff is willing to help. Clean atmosphere and spacious so you can have a conversation and people do not need to hear your convo.

So I'll start by saying the coconut chia pudding brought me here! I love a good chia pudding and there's has been extremely appetizing. It's not too sweet even with the nectar drizzle over the fruits and there's granola that adds a crunch and some sweetness too so it was just right. I also had the steak balance bowl for a tasty breakfast and it worked out really well for me. The steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly! Definitely something to try! This was my second time having it and I was impressed by the consistency. Service was quick and easy and extremely helpful! Thanks a lot! I'll be back for sure.

Thai Coconut Chicken Bowl GF

If only there were 5! People working behind the register or perhaps more people in the back? It took 15 minutes+ to get a chicken bowl delivered to my table and thats after they almost gave it to another guy. Not a great start to my first visit. Easch table was dirty i tried to sit at so i asked if they could clean mine. Its never fun and sorta cringey to have to bring faults to their attention. I ordered the thai chicken coconut bowl over rice n veggies. They forgot the cilantro and peanut topping and when i asked about it they did bring it out after a few minutes. The food came hot and does seem fresh but for $17 (i paid extra $1 for more sauce which they forgot the 1st time up) it should be to the brim and correct. Maybe the cook is new because everyone elses salad going by looked piled high.... idk? Cava is across the street and about $5 less exspensive. The girls were very nice but sorta clueless on their products and service.

Visited Chop Shop for the first time today for a Brunch meeting. I am on the Daniel Fast and wasn't sure that I would be able to find anything that I could eat that would have me feeling satiated. Thankfully, I was able to alter the chop salad kale bowl by removing some things due to the dietary restriction. The service was good, the place is extra clean, the ambience was great! One of the managers came by to make sure we were doing OK, and that everything was to our liking. They definitely get a good crowd and the food is super healthy so I will be back !

Teriyaki chicken

Hello Being a new business, I hate to have to be so absolute with only 1 review and decided as well to try again. The buy one get one free deal on uber is just too good to pass up. Thinking maybe I ordered the same thing but requested to remove teriyaki because i can't eat it too much of teriyaki. Requested in stead hot honey. I made a note to make sure the brussle sprouts on the descirption were to be added. I just got two brussle sprouts. Another thing to add, this time tried it with the forbbiden rice. The forbidden rice is just perfect, unlike the brown rice which was way over cooked (mushy solid like), Vegestables are roasted better this time around which I appreciate that improvement. Suggestions for owners improvement for other clients: -Indicate in uber if alternative sauces cannot be replaced. I can't have teriyaki. But loved the combination of the description. -Give an option to choose sauces instead. -Chicken is MUCH dryer than last time. I tossed it out and ate around it. -Remove brussle sprouts from the decscription for teryaki. Clearly its not a ingredient that isn't given. -Lessen water in brown rice so its not mushy/thick Postivies: -Roasted vegetables are on point -Forbidden rice is delicious

On my quest to eat healthier when dining out, I stumbled upon Chop Shop and decided to give them a try. The menu offered a variety of options, making it a bit challenging to decide. Ultimately, I couldn't settle for just one bowl - don't judge me. I noticed a new arrival, the Honey Hot Chicken Bowl, and couldn't resist ordering that along with the Grilled Steak Bowl. The hot honey had a good kick, but it was a bit too hot for my taste (my nose was running - I'm soft when it comes to spicy stuff, haha). I saved the Grilled Steak Bowl for lunch the next day, and it was equally delicious. I'd definitely go back because the menu has other interesting items, and there are various drinks and acai bowls I'd like to try. For those seeking a healthy option, I'd recommend stopping by this place. The employees were welcoming, and the interior had beautiful lighting and decor.

It took a little time to get the meal but it was real good. The spicy Korean steak power bowl was excellent. The steak was nicely cooked and had a nice spicy bite to it. I went with the veggies and sweet potato hash. The sweet with the spicy was real good. I did the jacked up PB&J protein shake, that was also very good the peanut butter with the strawberry and banana was real good. Overall good healthy food.

Still top quality food! The acai bowls are really good! I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to acai. The texture and consistency was great! They add apple juice to the acai, different choice for the base, but it was tasty.

This is what they advertised

I did an Uber order and my food was great, but I did not like is I ordered a side? The picture that they have on their webpage is not what I got in person unfortunately since I ordered Uber, there is no way for me to contact them and let them know in the middle of my workday their portion delivery sucked for my side. I will try them again however, if it happens again, I would say don't try.

Ima say, this place is high quality. The food and service are top notch. Real good and ingredients make for a healthy fresh meal. The restaurant was clean and warm. We had a great conversation and we're able to hear each other and laugh. Very comfortable place, I will plan to visit often.

American Chop Salad with steak
Lauren L.

I ordered the American chop and added steak. This salad came with tomato, onion, cucumber, frito chips, bacon, white cheddar, egg, and dressing. I added the steak. The service was really good meaning the people were friendly and the food was delicious. I would have given 5 starts, but they forgot to give me white cheddar cheese and forgot that I wanted ranch dressing. Overall, I had a really positive experience and really enjoyed my salad.

Not bad. You order at counter and they bring food to you, other than that, similar to Salata.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

Title: Flavor Explosion, Soulful Hospitality & a Last-Minute Meal That Turned Magical…read more Let me just say this: what started as a "quick bite before closing" turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. We arrived at The Poach Social about 20 minutes before closing, unsure if we'd be rushed--but instead, we were welcomed with warmth and ease. Lived the ambiance. Hunter, our server, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel taken care of from the very start. Then came Victor, the owner and chef--and this is where things shifted from good to special. Without us even asking, he recommended a mocktail that felt like it was made just for me: a sorrel-based drink layered with ginger, spice, herbs, and fresh fruit. It was refreshing, balanced, and honestly one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I've had. We started with the jerk egg rolls... and I'm not exaggerating when I say we were clapping after the first bite. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, with a sweet-spicy sauce that just worked. We immediately knew we'd be taking more to go. For the main course, we ordered the Poach Social breakfast plate and the blackened salmon with polenta. The breakfast plate was comforting and well-executed, but the salmon dish? Absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth texture, with creamy polenta and a rich sauce that brought everything together. It was a full-on flavor experience. The timing of everything--from drinks to apps to entrées--was seamless. Hunter checked in at the perfect moments, never too much, never too little. We ended up in a lovely conversation with Victor, who is not only talented but genuinely kind and passionate. He brought us complimentary slices of carrot cake, and even though we were already full... we ate every bite. No regrets. It was phenomenal. What I loved most is that this place doesn't just serve food--it creates an experience. There's intention, care, and heart behind everything. If you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and go. This place deserves to thrive. We will absolutely be back.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.
