They were very friendly, made some drink suggestions & & made amazing lemon drop Martinis. I am not a meatball fan but I started with the meatball appetizer & they were really good. As others have commented, the restaurant and bar area is very pretty. If you like flowers and lighting, you will love the atmosphere here. I requested a table by the window--glad I did, as they don't have many booths here, and the noise level in the restaurant was quite high, so being over against a window helped. Service was good--professional, friendly, and not rushed. Bourbon meatball appetizer was amazing. My husband loved his grouper sandwich; I got the trout and it was fine but nothing special. What a great meal! Service was outstanding and it started the moment we walked in. The food and drink were excellent. I started with an Old Fashioned and my wife got a glass of Pinot Noir. We both enjoyed our drinks. I ordered the Fried Calamari to start. They were perfectly fried and the marinara had great flavor and was an excellent compliment to the calamari. At our server's recommendation I ordered the Georgia Fried Chicken and I was supe happy with it. The chicken was excellently cooked and the hot honey (really more honey than hot) was a great addition. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding! The Asian inspired flavor made the dish. The Mac and cheese was good, but I like a lot more solid cheese rather than cheese sauce, which this one had. My wife was very satisfied with the Bistro Steak Sandwich. Sign Me Up Once a Week Incredible Lunch Spot Sign me up for this place once a week wow. This is an amazing lunch spot tucked away in a neighborhood-style area. The atmosphere alone is worth it. There's a beautiful fountain out front, shaded seating, and just an overall great setting. Service was excellent. Maddie (I believe that was her name) did a great job attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The food was so, so good. I got the vodka penne with a medium rare steak, and it was unreal I was ready to dig in before I even finished taking pictures. I went with colleagues, and they ordered the salmon and a burger. We came in about an hour before closing before my girlfriend had a flight to catchand ordered the short rib and grouper sandwich. Short Rib was so tender and flavorful. The edible flower was a great addition to the plating. The grouper sandwich bread was so soft and sweet. I'm sure it was brioche. The fish itself was decent. Nothing amazing. I did not know this place existed. My company hosted our holiday party here. Park 82 is located off 41 back off the beaten path. There is free parking behind the restaurant. Park 82 has the holiday decor out. It is a nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The bar is decently stocked with various spirits. I always check the bar since I am a huge Bourbon fan. You never know what you can find and try. The Park 82 hostess greeted everyone. We got a signature drink and waited until seated. There was a set menu with options from their main menu. I was excited to see the Beef short rib. It was so tender and flavorfull. I would definitely try it again. My friend got the fried chicken with hot honey sauce. Her chicken was good and so were the Brussel sprouts. I am usually not a fan of Brussels sprouts. The salad was good but could have used tad bit more dressing and salt/pepper. It's been quite some time since I have posted a review and I've experienced many places. Life had become very busy but figured I'd get back into the yelp grove! I visited Park 82 as a part of my sister's birthday weekend festivities. I must say this establishment did not disappoint! There is accessible parking available. The establishment is located in a residential community however there is parking spaces in front of the restaurant or a large parking area to the right of the restaurant in walking distance. There is a lovely red carpet leading to the door entrance. Not sure if this is their daily setup but it adds a fancy touch you feel VIP as you enter. The ambience has a romantic touch. The lights are dim but not too dim that it's hard to view your surroundings. The interior decor is very classy. The staff were all very welcoming/accommodating. Now to the menu!.... For apps we tried: Fried calamari Bourbon meatballs ( my fav) Brussels & artichoke dip All were very tasty and descent portions. For my cocktail of choice I kept it simple - I had to recuperate from the celebration the night before (WHEW lol). I opt for an Aperol spritz - DELISH! For my entree, I opted for the short-ribs( Boursin mash potatoes, carrots, onions, red wine Demi glaze) My My My, this dish was everything! I left nothing behind lol. I almost forgot, I added a side Caesar salad also spectacular! I was a bit full so I did not try any desserts of my own however did get a little taste of the blueberry cheesecake they bought out for my sister in honor of her bday and I must say it was quite tasty! Recently went and our experience was underwhelming. On a random Thursday for an early dinner around 5:45 PM. Let's get into the good stuff...the location is off Northside Pkwy or Cobb Pkwy within an apartment and office cul de sac. You won't see the restaurant off the street so IYKYK. It's a hidden gem! The parking is free on the street (limited) or lot behind the restaurant. After 6 PM the 2 hour maximum parking times expire. The ambiance is really nice and charming. They had decorated for Valentine's Day, spacious bar and lots of tables for patrons. No reservations are required so just show up. We were immediately shown to our table and the server showed up quickly. She didn't offer us any specials, ask if it was our first visit or provide recommendations. We ended up ordering wine - a Merlot and red sangria. To start we had the Bourbon meatballs. The server did expand on the best starters for the house. Dinner was where things fell short. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and my friend ordered the Park 82 Chicken. They were both mediocre. The andouille sausage was more like Butterball kielbasa or sausage and the chicken breast was dry & chewy. For their namesake dish, it was disappointing. We finished fairly quickly and wrapped it up to go. I'm not sure why because I had no plans to eat it. Sorry no photos because I was being present on my date! O_o Overall - I think their go-to appetizers, cocktails and best selling entrees are what to stick with. Or maybe the chef had an off day? We had a business lunch here this past Thursday and everything, from start to finish, was truly well-done. Parking was easy in the free lot and deck attached. The surrounding area is a beautiful, less-crowded section of Atlanta that is tucked away. It almost makes you feel like you are on a vacation from the usual hustle and bustle of Atlanta. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We had a reservation. Our server was great but at times seemed a little rushed. He was very attentive to detail and had great recommendations from the menu. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Crab Rangoons. The Fried Green Tomatoes were perfecting done. I love the garnish they have on them and they were well-proportioned. I just want to say that the Crab Rangoons are made with real crab which is rare and they are some of the best I've had in a long time. That hot honey and chicken combo is the bomb dot com. The chicken was juicy with a crispy externa. The mac and cheese was good--it had a tangy flavor with the Gouda that I'm not particularly accustomed to but it eats well. I will first say when I walked in I was taken away. The ambiance is soo nice for the holidays and I bet it's beautiful on its on too. A good date place vibe. Our waitress was good. Now let's get to the food. I really have mixed reviews. The meatballs are a must try!! They were soo good and the sauce is what made them. They actually give you like five of them so a good sharing portion. Now myself and one other person had the oxtails and we were not impressed at all. We thought they lacked flavor and one of ours was tough. We did send one plate back without issue, and got the Georgia fried chicken instead. Now that dish he was amazed at it. The other person in the group had the short ribs and was pleased with them. With both the ribs and oxtails dish they come on top of rice/potatoes and it's a lot. They both need more meat really. The oxtails needed more sauce or something. I would pass on them next time. The bday cheesecake was good.. and the gold candle was a nice touch! The fries were also crunchy and delicious with the truffle, really enjoyed this dish. The pasta was also good but I definitely liked the cheesesteak more. I'm not sure how I feel about Park 82. We sat on the serviceable patio at serviceable patio tables and chairs. I forgot to enter and see the dining area myself so cannot comment. The menu is limited but varied. We shared a generous portion of chicken pot stickers as appetizer. The vegetable risotto with shrimp as an add-on was by turns nice and not nice. The shrimp were especially dry. The risotto was... diluted? Wet, perhaps? I couldn't pinpoint it but it led to blandness. No salt or pepper on the table. Its saving grace were the vegetables. They were fresh and at the perfect crunch. The kale salad was not what my friend expected. I don't know where the misunderstanding occurred. The server showed no interest to hear what my friend was saying. My friend let it go at that and ate the food in front of her. The blueberry cheesecake was good but wow is it sweet. Ask for the blueberry syrup on the side. So the pot stickers were the best part of the meal. We did enjoy the quiet area and talked until closing. No one was trying to hurry us out. You're in the midst of what is obviously a very nice apartment community, so it's a big perplexing to find, but worth it. I made a reservation through OpenTable for my line's holiday dinner. The table was prepared for us upon arrival and our waiter, Dan, was amazing with so many people there it did not overwhelm him. He was very timely on providing us everything we requested, as well as things that we didn't have to ask for, and he made great recommendations. The food was amazing!! We had the bourbon meatballs, salmon dip, and spinach brussels sprout dip for appetizers. For entrées, it was a smorgasbord of the salmon bowl, the short ribs, salads, and multiple orders of their pita bread which was 10 out of 10!! The drinks were great. We had the Bourbon Georgia on my Mind, the cucumber and jalapeño margarita and French 75s, along with shots. The decorations for the holidays were immaculate. The place was beautifully decorated and lit in which we were able to get multiple great holiday photos. I reserved the Garden Room for a 3 course birthday dinner, with 17 guests confirmed in advance. Unfortunately, a snow storm happened the day of the event. While conditions in the city were manageable, several guests traveling from surrounding areas experienced heavier snow and icy roads, and eight people canceled for safety reasons. I notified the restaurant as soon as I became aware of the cancellations. Although Maggie said she sympathized with my situation, I was told the contract could not be modified and that I would be charged the full amount because additional personnel, including two servers, had been scheduled for my dinner. I was informed that store credit might be option. I had the short rib and mash potatoes as the main entree. The short rib was tender and the mash potatoes complemented it well. At the end of the night, I was presented with a bill totaling $1,222, reflecting the full contracted amount at $50 per person, including those who could not attend. The manager offered a $200 gift card, which did not fairly reflect the number of cancellations, and declined a more reasonable adjustment. At that point, my only option was to take the meals I paid for as to-go orders and distribute them among the guests who attended. While I understand that weather is outside of anyone's control, the lack of flexibility and empathy shown under these circumstances was the biggest disappointment of what was meant to be a special celebration. My mom had the Salmon/Rice dish and it was probably my favorite out of all the things we ordered. My brother got the hot honey chicken (also super delicious.) I got the steak and was decent, but not the best steak ever (not by any means a bad steak tho!) The mashed potatoes are delectable. We also ate the crab rangoon which i did find to be a little too crabby for what I like in a rangoon (this is a personal preference.) A huge plus is the portions for all these dishes were very substantial!! We all had leftovers and they all reheated very well. They also gave my brother a free dessert for his birthday but they didn't sing (which I assume was because there was an event going on in the bar area.) The tap did taste weird but we didn't want to pay for water so keep that in mind if you're picky about water. I was not a fan of my cucumber jalapeño marg but my brother loved all his cocktails. It looks like a very nice restaurant, with upscale ambiance... but they ran out glasses and had to serve me a Diet Coke in a plastic to go cup, they had no salt/pepper shakers at the table and had to bring us grocery store-bought ones from the kitchen. And then they got the side dish incorrect with my order, which they attributed to a new chef working that evening. All of that seems very amateurish for a restaurant that has the look of elegance. On the positive side, our waitress was very friendly and she apologized for and immediately rectified the incorrect side dish. read more

Came across this spot while exploring Atlanta, so glad we did. This spot is tucked away in a business district, I'm sure it gets busy at lunch. Lucky for us they also offer dinner. We were seated in the bar area right away and served with water. We both were in the mood for a burger so we ordered the Park 82 burger with truffle fries. DELICIOUS! The burger was cooked perfectly, the topping just the right amount and fresh, the bread fresh and soft. The fries were cooked just right, crispy with a soft and tasty center. Rating a 4 because though I was dissatisfied with the flavor of the Jamaican Oxtails and mac n cheese and felt like the artichoke dip was very chunky as a result of way to many brussel sprouts, my date and I received great service. The restaurant was clean and it wasn't too busy so our food came out at a decent time. My date ordered a cheeseburger and fries and you can't go wrong with that so he was satisfied. Flavor is very important to me and having a "Jamaican-inspired" dish such as oxtails on the menu excited me; however, it was missing key ingredients. The portion for the price wasn't that great either and I am very aware of how pricey oxtails are. That plate was $33 and I received 3 and 1 of them was mostly bone (see photo). Had an amazing experience when we went in for Saturday brunch. We were warmly greeted and seated. Our server was friendly and gave us some amazing suggestions for our meal. She then brought over a basket of their amazing biscuits and corn bread with a delicious peach jam and butter. My wife had the fried green tomatoes stuffed with goat cheese. If you're a fan of goat cheese, you'll really enjoy this. For the main dishes, my wife had the chicken and waffles (a can't miss!) and I had the biscuit and gravy (can't remember the name from the menu.) Both were very tasty and would highly recommend. I had reservations and we were seated upon arrival. The restaurant had a good amount of people but it was not crowded. Also, there were plenty of children there so it is family friendly. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance. Our waiter was excellent with service and his recommendations. We ordered the bourbon meatballs for an appetizer and they were delicious. The service here was TERRIBLE. I came here on 2/19 (Thursday) and sat at the bar-- this was my first time. Not only did it take over 10 minutes to be simply given water and a menu. One of the bartenders did not even ask if I needed anything. But was literally only concerned about making sure his girlfriend at the bar was taken care of. Service was extremely slow and the restaurant was not extremely busy. Several times I had to flag down the other bartender for service. I understand things get busy or backed up but it is utterly ridiculous to see a bartender/server literally turn his back to the rest of the bar to PAYING customers as if as we are not here and would rather feed his girlfriend drinks!
