My friend and I came here for dinner and had a great time. We were both a fan of their lemon drops and the lobster eggrolls. It was a dim lit, cozy ambiance and our waiter was attentive. I had the crab cakes and my friend had the steak, no complaints from either of us. If we weren't going out after we would've taken home leftovers.

Soho Restaurant is like an old timer neighborhood fine wine and eatery. It is located in the heart of residential Vinings and offers a nice selection of wines, cocktails, and fine American dishes. Ambience: it is dim lit, quiet, well serviced spot. It's definitely an older person's date night spot or subtle special conversation over dinner spot which is a great option to have. Food: - Lobster spring rolls were 10/10. Served hot, robust pieces of tender lobster meat inside flash fried wontons cut in four. Filling. I would have added a nice sweet sauce to garnish, but the flavor in the roll carried in the dish. - Calamari. 7/10. Saucey, fried calamari pieces with tempura fried vegetables mixed in. Slightly overcooked and i prefer my calamari without sauces served on it so that I can rather dip and control it. - The Malbec was very flavorful and smooth pairing well with dinner and desert options. Their wine list is great and definitely a must to elevate the experience. Service: Very decent. Would like our waiter to have a better recommendation starter on food/ cocktails. But overall nice, personable, timely, allowing our dinner to run smoothly. I would return.

    Ahi Tuna - delicious!

We had great service and delicious food! I got the ahi tuna, and it was so tender and yummy. The ginger salad it came with was quite nice, too. My husband got the pork chop and devoured it so fast i couldn't even get a picture to post for this review. Our friends got the shrimp linguini and Scottish Salmon (the salmon disappeared quickly as well; The menfolk in my party seemed to especially love the food as they both ate every last bite on their plates) . All the food was terrific. Probably my best experiences at Soho to date.

I've been to SoHo years ago and enjoyed my meal so this review may just be a miss because of what I ordered. For starters, I had a blood orange margarita, which was tasty. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with truffle fries. Umm, the crab cake was southwestern style with red bell pepper and corn. I've never had crab cake with corn in it. It was giving Publix premade crab cake, which would have been fine if the price was $15 but the sandwich was $28. So needless to say, I was disappointed. Our server was very nice but the atmosphere was a lil dry for a Fri night and so was my sandwich. (PS: the fries were tasty but were as oily and limp as they look in the photo I took)

amazing restaurant. we started with the calamari which was delicious and flavorful. we got the steak for 2 with the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. the steak was delicious but the mac and cheese wasnt our favorite. was expecting better. mashed potatoes were average. the standout side was the tomato basil risotto SO GOOD. and the best tasting cheesecake to end it all. would come again 5 stars

SOHO is very nice (vibe and aesthetics) with delicious food. I love the chef's weekly "special" meals. We went for a birthday and our server made it feel special. Definitely will visit again!

There was a large group of us after a conference. We had a private dining area so that we didn't bother the rest of the restaurant. The service was great, friendly, and quick. Food was good, large portions. The chicken tortilla soup, braised short rib, and bang bang shrimp were all hits. Their berries and cream left my sweet tooth unsatisfied.

My husband and I were in the Vinings area on a Sunday and decided to grab dinner to go before we headed back home. Luckily we saw the reviews for Soho and they had just opened at 5pm for dinner so I figured it would be a nice restaurant to try out. I called in our to go order and spoke to an amicable gentleman over the phone who took the order. We went to pick it up 20 minutes later and the entire experience was pleasant. Parking was easy but It was early and even at 5pm the small parking lot was almost full. It was a nice day and their out door dining area was pretty packed. My dish of choice was the Seabass, which came with Baby Bok Choy, Purple Rice, and Lemongrass Buerre Blanc. Everything in my entree was seasoned and cooked to perfection, I loved my dish. The Hubby ordered the Scottish Salmon accompanied with Roasted Red Potatoes, Haricot Vert, and Garlic Beurre Blanc. His meal was equally delicious as mine. I can't wait to come back to Soho so I can try more of their dishes. Next time we will dine outside.

Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment.

They have a wide variety from whites to rose to red to sweet wines. All the ones we tried were good. The prices are a bit high - about $4-5 for a small pour (my guess for red is about 2 oz), ~$9 for a medium pour, and ~$18 for a glass. It's a great concept though where you can try what you want but it can get pricey quick. They have different food options as well, including salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. We went on a Friday and they had live jazz outside which was great to listen to. It's a great spot for a date night or for a small group of friends. Free small parking lot in front. Free extra parking across the street. The total was about $150 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a dessert. Pros The quiet, intimate, and classy atmosphere was exactly what I needed for my family. When we first arrived, our table was not ready and we had to wait outside. However we were given continuous updates on when the table would be ready, they apologized, and they were very understanding. Considering we were a large party in an intimate space, we understood and only waited about 20 minutes before the table was ready. You could tell the food was fresh, the orders came fast, and the service was amazing. The fresh in house pasta took everything to the next level. It was the perfect night out. Cons The establishment is intimate so I do not think it would ideal for extra large parties. I had a party of 8 at 8PM but I dont know if they could have accomodated us if it was any earlier during prime dinner time. I wish they had a better parking situation but its not bad and its free.
