Nice spot located in the Square. Sadly this is no longer a cigar bar as of two days ago! . We were told we could smoke outside on the porch area and thankfully the weather was cooperating so we went outside. While we were there we saw several come in to spoke who ended up leaving. That being said there is a great liquor assortment and some small plates to snack on We tried the Japanese meatballs and the buffalo chicken dip which were both tasty. Great location. Great selection at the bar. Two rooms one with a more cozy vibe near the bar area, the other room was very large with random furniture and didn't look as appealing. Unfortunately their humidor had the capacity for 100's of cigars and they at best had 6 and what they had were not good varieties. Very disappointing as we wanted to go for an after dinner old fashioned and cigar. They need to make some drastic changes read more

Firstly, you can no longer smoke inside only outside(bummer). The service was very good (Vanessa), and the drinks, small plates were good. Apparently, the change to no smoking happened two days prior. I don't know if I'll go back since it's non smoking now. read more

Village Bourbon and Cigar has a lovely location in downtown Smyrna. This fine addition to Smyrna has only been open a few months. Please step by and check it out if your cigar and Bourbon and/or Whiskey enthusiast. You'll learn alot and enjoy yourself engaging with a variety of people with similar interests. It's nestled in the back of the shopping center. There is plenty of complimentary parking in the area. The owner also owns The Vineyard Wine Market located at the other end of the walking strip. I peeked in as I was leaving. Very nice. That's another review. A friend invited me to attend the WhistlePig Whiskey tasting, which brought me here for my first time. She knows I love Bourbon and Whiskey and needed to get out. This establishment is in a great location with just the right amount of space. Love the intimate setting and decor inside. The bartender is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She was awesome. There are a few flat screens in the front area and then in the back. Great couches and sitting areas to sit back have a cigar and nice Bourbon or Whiskey to sip on. There is a pool table in the back room. They set up a poker table in the back as well. Noise level is not bad so you can watch TV, listen to the music, or engage in conversation. The tasting was quite interesting. I love learning about new Whiskeys and Bourbons. The story behind WhistlePig is interesting. We were offered 4 samples at the tasting. The Piggy Back 6 yr, 10 yr Rye, 12 yr Rye, and Farmstock Rye which are various price points and flavor profiles. I knew that the Whistle Pig 12 year Rye would be my favorite based on the nose, palate, and finish info provided. And I was correct. Lol! He said Bourbon drinkers normally prefer the 12 year. I did enjoy the 6 year Piggy Back Rye but the 12 year was my definite favorite. It's suggested to join the mailing list as there will be more events in the future. I will definitely be back to enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone was so inviting and willing to share information on various spirits and cigars. Loved it! Great vibes! The cigar smoke can get heavy. We moved outdoors and enjoyed a charcuterie board. Several tables with chairs outside the business. The board had several great options to create a board to your liking. We laughed and talked until we left. The manager came by a few times to chat and check on us. Very important to engage your clients and provide that 1 on 1 interaction. Covid is changing. Employees did wear masks. People that were not vaccinated had on masks. I felt safe and like proper safety protocol was being followed. read more

I recently had a disappointing experience at this establishment that I feel compelled to share. It was my first visit, and I ordered a Grey Goose lemon drop, as I know it's not advisable to mix different liquors. However, the night bartenders switched my premium vodka for a very low-grade alternative without notifying us. To make matters worse, I was charged the same price for this inferior drink. It felt deceptive, and I left feeling frustrated. When I brought this to the attention of the African-American female manager on duty, I was met with excuses about how they're still adjusting to new management. It was clear that they were not taking responsibility for their actions, which was incredibly disappointing. To add insult to injury, the food was cold when it arrived. I ordered the flatbread BBQ chicken, and it was overcooked--almost burnt. The overall quality of the meal did not meet expectations at all. Furthermore, both the manager and the young man with long curl hair is the bartender Iam speaking of who also was rude and very disrespectful and arrogant both appeared intoxicated based on their behavior, which was unprofessional and concerning. I genuinely feel sorry for the owner because employees like these two will drive away good-paying customers and tarnish the establishment's reputation. I won't be returning, and definitely won't be referral clients or anyone else for that matter and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their service or they could be looking at lawsuit charges in the future. I was invited out to village bourbon & cigars by couple of my friends on a Thursday evening. I had been wanting to check it out so I was glad to be invited to try it out. The atmosphere is great. It gives a lounge feel that is very chill and relaxing. There was music playing but it was not too loud. They have a large variety of cocktails, bourbons, tequilas and other drinks as well as some good food items. The Italian panini that I had was excellent. Great flavor that went well with my bourbon drink. The server was great and provided good insight on the bourbons and other drink options. Also, tonight they had a rum tasting but we wanted to stick with bourbon. It seems that have different tastings each week. I will definitely be coming back to check out their cigars and other drinks. read more

Customer service was awful! I've never been to a cigar bar where I could touch nor smell a cigar. The young bartender was too busy talking to college guys to even assist with our drinks. We decided to get our cigars to go because the lack of a customer service. Ready to pay the bartender couldn't figure out how the Google pay worked after ONE try and threw a hissy fit and stomped off. Eventually paid and left. Will not be going back! Edit in response I find your response very rude and unprofessional as an owner. We in fact did sit at the bar to order drinks but the bartender was distracted. My review is to bring light to perhaps retrain your staff in the proper etiquette of customer service. Take constructive criticism to better improve your business. Best Wishes Jada! read more

This is a great chill environment. It is in a residential area so it will close a little early and the owners are careful to be respectful of the families in the area. But great little spot to have a cig or two with some stiff drinks and hang with your boys or for a relaxed evening with the lady. read more

The perfect location to enjoy your cigar. Tried my first smokey old fashion. The presentation by VBC of this cocktail is an experience all by itself. Served under a glass smoking cloche, filled with just the right aroma of hickory enhanced the taste of my Habano. I paired my bourbon and stick with the sweet and spicy jerky and cheese plate. Our server, Jennifer, was so personable and attentive, although a very busy evening, we never felt abandoned. There is adequate parking in this quaint local plaza. We attended the Glenmorangie tasting but VBC has an exceptional collection in its full bar. Can't wait to come back! read more

This review is on behalf of my husband - he enjoys visiting with his friends to have a cigar and the smoked old fashion drink (while I go to the counterpart wine bar on the same row). Well... I am an avid cigar smoker and I had heard about this location from a few of my cigar buddies so I decided to try it out... I walk in... looks nice... my lady sits down while I attempt to bless the humidor... but before I can even say hello to the guy ( reminds you of Barney Rubble ) he starts talking down to me like I am at the corner store looking to but a loose cigarette!!! He told me to tell him if I wanted something and to be sure I wanted it before he would pull the cigar out the box... he told me not to touch anything because they don't like people touching and smelling the cigars !! Wtf ? I'm no child and Barney certainly isn't going to talk to me like that!!! After his rant was over I told him I wasn't there to finger bang his cigars and he should relax.. he said " house rules" and with that I left ! There are too many places for me to go to that will respect me and my patronage while providing a positive experience! read more
