I want to love Creatwood. But, service was mid. Food was fine but not served hot. I subbed tots for fries. Upcharge not mentioned. Server forgot. Took my plate back, removed fries, brought plate back out then tots when meal was mostly over. Not ideal. Special was tasty - pesto aioli on a chicken club. Booth seats need a refresh. read more

After the Peachtree Road Race, we went to Creatwood Tavern for an awesome burger. The food took a little while to come out since a 10+ party came in but the waitress was kind and communicated the delay early. I enjoyed the Creatwood Burger with my fav - tater tots. The burger was juicy and flavorful. My partner enjoyed the pulled pork that was topping his patty. The fries were tasty and I didn't need ketchup. I truly enjoyed the jokes on the tv since I am not a sports fan so it gave me something to watch. The restaurant reps the Browns during football season and the decor reflects that. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. First, my GF ordered a cobb salad with blackened shrimp. He got Chicken. Reminded server it was shrimp. they did not remake. they just brought a bowl of shrimp on the side and charged for it. I then ordered the "sausage and perogies" that had no sausage. I showed the server there was no sausage. she agreed and said she'd get me the sausage. She came back and said they'd have to charge!! what? you want me to pay for what did not come with my meal. Held a company event at Creatwood last week. The manager, Rich, was great to work with in developing a menu for both food and drink. Both food and drink were outstanding. Our servers Cassie and Z were attentive, but not too, keeping drinks going and food stocked. There was also Music Bingo on Wed, which was a fun add for anyone who wanted to play. My son and I stopped off to watch the Alabama game on this ice cold windy evening, the place was extremely cozy and welcoming. We ordered the nachos and Caesar salad with added chicken, my son said that the nachos were pretty basic and my Caesar salad was just that. We also ordered a margarita that was pretty good. Definitely a pretty cool spot to tale in a game or grab a quick drink. Service was good, prices were good, parking is in a lot, shared with other businesses and the restaurant was pretty clean. I rarely leave reviews but I feel people should know what to expect here. My visit to this tavern was very disappointing. The alcoholic beverage we ordered tasted like just water and mint, with no trace of alcohol at all. When we asked the bartender about it, instead of explaining politely he got defensive and rude. We found out later he wasn't even the manager, though we specifically asked to speak with one. It wasn't even busy, with hardly anyone at the bar, yet we were treated like we were a problem for questioning the drinks. To make matters worse, there were hardly any other Black patrons there, only one other table, and the vibe made me feel like they might have a pattern of treating people who don't look like them as if they're trying to scam them. We were given no replacement for the drink, and the food was just average...nothing special to make up for the terrible bar experience. The only good part of our visit was our server Brandon, who was excellent and very kind. Overall it was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. Went to Creekwood Tavern and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We ordered three of their specialty cocktails, and all of them came out tasting like watered-down soda with simple syrup--no noticeable flavor or balance, and certainly no trace of alcohol. When we brought it up to the manager on duty, he was extremely dismissive and unhelpful. His response was essentially, "The drinks aren't meant to taste like alcohol," and offered no solution except to charge us for another drink or add a shot for additional charge. No concern for the customer experience at all. The food was just okay. The fries were probably the best part of the meal--crispy and well-seasoned. The salmon BLT was underwhelming; the fish had a noticeably fishy taste and lacked seasoning. The one bright spot was our server, Brandon. He was attentive, professional, and did his best to take care of us despite the situation. Shoutout to him for providing great service! All in all, not worth the visit for drinks or food. We had a great time here on a Sunday afternoon. They host the Browns backers group, and the entire bar was packed with Browns fans. We were shocked by the attendance, and the enthusiasm of the fans was amazing. Our waitress was so attentive and came back to our table often to check on us. They had some game-day specials, a few dollars off one of the salads, the nachos, and the club sandwich. They also offered buckets of beer. I had the club sandwich and it was good for bar food! Took off one star because the TVs kept glitching (maybe it was the rain, or maybe they just don't have a good connection with the satellite dish), so it was a little hard to keep track of the game. Came here for a quick lunch and we were seated fairly quickly. I really wanted to try their turkey burger however they didn't have it at the time. (Note, a few of the menu items are discontinued so don't get your heat set on a specific item!) I decided to go with the chicken salad wrap and fries on the side. The chicken salad wrap was alright - nothing remarkable however the fries were amazing! I really loved the seasoning they came with. The wrap and fries were quite filling. This was my first and last time at this racist establishment. I went to watch a game with friends, and right from the start, the bartender, Amber, was rude. When someone in our group asked for a towel to wipe the table, she snapped that she didn't have time. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt since it was a busy game day, but her attitude stayed the same. Amber messed up our drink orders and overcharged someone in our party. When we asked about it, she got extremely nasty. Later, the TVs kept cutting out, and when we laughed about something unrelated, we were kicked out because they thought we were booing. To top it off, Amber told us to "go with your people" to another bar down the street that caters to African Americans. I spoke to the manager, Richard, but he seemed uninterested in our side of the story. If the TVs are cutting out, that's not the customers' fault. This place needs better-trained staff who can handle a busy crowd. A large group of us won't be coming back. I have to say I was really disappointed with my food and extremely slow service/meal preparation. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I definitely was not blown away. I visited on 3/7/25 around noon at ordered The Creatwood burger and the Pimento burger for takeout. Both came with fries. The burgers were small and overcooked. What was very disappointing was how the burger was dressed up. The to go box was lined with paper. The did not try to dress the burger. The pimento cheese was poured on the paper next to the burger. The cheese was a sauce, nothing like a real pimento cheese. The fried pickles weee thrown in the box as well. They were stale like they fried hours before. The tomatoes was missing. I was so mad when I saw the presentation when I got home. It would have made sense to place all ingredients on the burger instead of trying to scrape cheese off a piece of paper. The Creatwood burger was terrible as well. Same scenario, ingredients thrown in the box. The only reason I'm giving them two stars because the greeter was very nice. Wish I could give zero stars. I understand that it is hard being in the service industry. Our sweet waitress was clearly overwhelmed and not supported by her inadequate manager. Our orders came out wrong. After telling our sweet waitress that our orders were wrong she said she would fix it, but it took so long we ate the wrong order. Then she said we would get charged to correct it. Ok! To make matters worst the manger's attitude about the situation was dismissive, rude and disrespectful. We just asked for the protein missing from our order. It's not our fault, you are not capable of supporting and training your staff who you can tell are trying their hardest! Visiting from Memphis - random pick. Food was decent....pretty good actually. Kids said their entrees were not hot but otherwise good. The issue was TERRIBLE slow and seemingly nonchalant service. The general vibe was VERY mope around and slow - no sense of urgency or welcoming feeling. I had to find someone for silver ware and was told very flippantly "oh we ran out" then she walked off- we supposed to eat macaroni with our fingers? Our waiter NEVER even knew we didn't have silverware. I also had to find napkins and to-go containers myself. Came here with my husband after many years and we were pleasantly surprised that our food was really tasty. Yes, its a typical bar food menu, but my husband and I enjoyed our dinner. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and it was nicely filled with onions, red pepper, cheese and chicken. I will definitely get that again. This was my third time at Creatwood Tavern. I enjoyed my food the first two times I went, but was a bit disappointed this go around. We sat on the rooftop which has a bar and big screens up there as well which I thought was nice. It was a nice atmosphere. We were greeted by a waitress offering us a sample of The Finnish Long Drink, which was good. My sister and I both ordered the turkey burger with no bun and the cauliflower mash. We were being mindful of what we ate and tried something new from the previous times we've visited. I was rather excited for my meal as it was a healthy option, and figured I could have something decent that tasted good. Well....the turner burger definitely didn't taste as I had expected it. I'm not sure what it was, but I didn't particularly care for the taste. I've had a number of turkey burgers, and that just wasn't it for me. Needless to say, my sister didn't like it either. I literally took one bite and that was it. Our waitress was nice and accommodating though, and took them back and we were able to order something else, and she removed those items off our tab. The cauliflower mash was extremely too garlicky! I didn't even eat the whole thing, but managed to eat most of it. I ended up reordering the salmon blt with no bun. Because it was already on the later end and I waited to say something about my disapproval of my meal, I just took it home. Again, I was a bit disappointed. The salmon lacked in taste. It's like they literally threw it on the grill with no seasoning. That really sucked because I was beyond starving at that point. I just dealt with it and ate it. The restaurant wasn't extremely busy so I'm not sure why we waited FOREVER for our waitress to come back with the check. After my sister reordered her food, we didn't our waitress for a good 15-20 mins. At this point the temperature has dropped and it was rather chilly. Even after I received my take home order and we asked for the check she took a good while to come back and collect our money. I noticed another table who had the same waitress was waiting, and after awhile an individual from that table had to get up to go ask for the waitress to request their check who happened to be sitting in a room they have eating. It wasn't until then that she came to us to collect our money. All in all it was an epic fail! I know they have some good food choices as I was pleased the two times prior. Maybe bc I picked some of the not so healthy food lol. That's really the only reason I'm giving them a 3 star, because I know they have food that's good and enjoyable. We've passed this restaurant several times on our way to the Battery so we thought we would give it a try. The main bar area was very bright when we came in at about 8:00 on a Friday night. We were seated in an area opposite which had better lighting. We ordered a side salad with our entrees and it took at least 20 minutes for them to come out. The entrees came out one minute later. We had asked the server if the fries were "fresh cut" and he said they were. They are definitely frozen fries. To make things worse, they had an extreme amount of salt. Fish and chips...don't waste your money. Zero flavor in the breading and the "tartar sauce" is basically mayonnaise with cayenne pepper mixed in. Not good at all. The serving of cole slaw was very good but served in a tiny container (the same that the salad dressings and sauce comes in). Philly cheesesteak...very basic and very little inside the bun. Taste was average. Friday night beer bucket special is nothing special from any other day of the week, but I guess they're trying to get you to order so they move their products. Service was very slow and the restaurant was only about 10% full on a Friday night between 8:00-9:00. read more

A fun venue that turned weird due to the way the "manager" Victoria handled some mistakes on the menu. Arrived and were warmly welcomed by a server who explained the menu and everything about the place, and she seemed like she should have been the manager. She did encourage us to get the Monday night special, burger and a beer. Got it and it seemed a good choice and we ordered it. Turns out it was more than advertised at checkout and new server came over to explain that "unfortunately" menus had been modified and it's only been a week so menus haven't been updated. It wasn't much of an increase but then we asked for the manager Victoria, she came out and said "unfortunately" again our menu changed. We asked if "unfortunately" for us or you? please adjust the check and she stormed off and did so, because she didn't know what to do as a solution! We are done here. Let me just throw out there that this may just be the local hangout for law enforcement. Lol do with that what you will :). I had been here once before in the summer and sat on the rooftop which was a vibe. Lights draping, games to play, room to stand and chat or sit or people watch. This time that I came, I realized that there was a back of the restaurant past the bar and the initial seating in the front. Of course I had to explore. I sat in a booth toward the back and it was fully cushioned... FULLY! Like, half egg shaped cushioned with a table scooted in the mix lol. We also had our own tv dedicated to the table right in front of us. Very cozy. Our waiter was nice and attentive, he did not have too many drink recommendations because he was a young tender age of 21. So I ordered off the cocktail menu and did some kind of mule. 3 stars because the drink tasted like sour mix on ice... It is against my religion to leave an alcoholic beverage on the table, but this one I took a few sips and called it quits. I had the Spicy mozzarella cheese sticks and a burger called "The Butcher." The food was really good and flavorful and everything came out piping hot. There is a small arcade area with a motorcycle game as well as a few others. This was an after work, drop in and it was suitable, minus the drink. There is more than enough parking spaces and it is wheel chair accessible with a TV at every angle of the restaurant.
