Ruined Mother's Day Breakfast - My family and I were frequent customers of this establishment but will never go back now. I called in an order on Mother's Day. My son picked it up. When he got home my meal was missing. He drove all the way back to J. Christopher's to pick up the meal but was told they did not sell that particular meal on Sundays. At no time were we told this information when we called in the order or when we went to pick it up. We were still charged for the item when he got to the restaurant. Still, nothing was said. We don't live close to this place and with gas at $5 gallon there was no apology only a gift card given for the amount of the meal. Nothing for his inconvenience and my ruined meal. Hostess stuck us near dirty kitchen area and where there wasn't much light. The server was new but attentive for her first day so A+ for her. The food was not the best. First timer and I ordered a traditional breakfast. Had over cooked not burned bacon more like jerky and the coffee had a horrible after taste. It was an okay experience. I went in with my two toddlers in tow. The best part was how friendly every single person was with my little people and how quickly everything came out. We probably hit a sweet spot coming in mid-morning on a Tuesday. The worst part was that the food is priced too high. I spent $40 with 20% tip for four pancakes, a sandwich (that came with a side of potatoes), and a cup of coffee. The pancakes are regular sized and a stack is only 2 pancakes. My toddlers split a stack and gobbled it down before my sandwich (which I ordered after putting in their pancakes) came out. I ended up ordering a second stack as they had no interest in eating any of my food. I didn't try their pancakes but I liked my sandwich (the BELT, which I ordered with scrambled eggs rather than the fried one it comes with). My potatoes were okay. We don't live near here and certainly wouldn't make a special trip for "okay" breakfast. If in the area again, I'd try a different place. read more

I did not enjoy my breakfast whatsoever, complete waste of money. Service is nice but the food is horrible. This is my third time (I give all places I visit 3 strikes) abs unfortunately my last. The omelette wasn't fluffy and somehow dry, most likely overcooked and the fried potatoes have no seasoning whatsoever, not even basic salt and pepper.
