    Billy Goat Omelet
    Jeff B.

    J. Christopher's is open for breakfast and lunch. The menu has both types of food. I had the Billy Goat Omelet. An omelet filled with spinach, mushrooms, and goat cheese. It is served with home fries and an English muffin. I enjoyed my food very much. The indoor seating has booths, tables, and a bar. The noise level was nice to be able to have a conversation. It was clean and organized. The service was pretty good overall. There is also plenty of parking since the parking lot is shared by several businesses. The next time you are looking for a nice place to have breakfast and a good conversation with friends or that special someone, then please consider J. Christopher's for that place!

Food was average and the service is hit and miss but the music is absolutely inappropriate. Playing wrap with swearing and sexual graphic words for the clientele of mostly retiree's is completely out of order. I asked for it to be changed twice and a manager told me corporate decide the music

Found this place through Yelp after looking for a nice Monday morning breakfast. After arriving, We were set down very quickly by a nice hostess. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The biscuits were amazingly soft. Of course, we selected this location because they served Turkey options... Our waitress was very nice and answered all questions that we had. The restaurant was nice and casual with a coffee bar style on the left side of the entrance.

I'm giving 3 stars for my last experience here. Was really disappointed with the cinnamon roll. They were really stingy with the icing

Great breakfast with a crowd. Great attentive service. Wide variety of options on the menu for breakfast including a yummy Mexican Benedict that came with a side of black beans. Our hit shrimp and grits, pancakes, a couple of versions of French toast and the usual loaded breakfast. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the Atlanta area.

    blueberry crunch pancake pantry feast

came here for sunday brunch after a run with my friends in marietta! there was around a 15 minute wait, and service otherwise was relatively fast. i got the pantry feast which comes with the blueberry crunch, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. + pretty affordable prices for brunch! + the blueberry crunch pancake was pretty big. everything else was also decent portion size - everything tasted good. the pancake i wish had more granola because there seemed to be just some dried oats sprinkled on top. i also thought the pancake was kind of dry and didn't have much blueberry flavor otherwise, overall a very satisfying meal. i appreciate how they have lower carb options, but decided to indulge and get the pantry feast haha! i would come back again if i was in the area.

I love breakfast food so any place that serves breakfast during the lunch hour is already seen as favorable in my eyes! I do wish they stayed open until dinner hours but hey I'll take what I can get. Food: I had the cajun scramble. Cheese grits, a biscuit, and an eggs/andouille sausage scramble combo. It was very straight forward, no bells & whistles. I left with a stomach well fed. Service: my waitress was timely Price: cheap! I think I spent $13 Parking: its located in a strip mall so you'll find a spot somewhere in the lot Overall, of you want a quick, filling breakfast meal I would suggest coming here. This is not the knock-your-socks-off-with-flavor spot, but more so the I'm-hungry-and-cheap-and-want-comfort-food spot!

The inside is decent. Service was very good. The food.....not so much. I got the eggs Benedict with old hard potatoes and old English muffin. The eggs were actually on point. So someone in the kitchen knows what they're doing. Seems as if the owner is cheap with ingredients and finances, that perhaps the chef has to use old food. Idk, just guessing here. Will not be back.

We were seated right away and directed to the QR code for the menu. I noticed other tables had actual menus which we thought was odd. After we decided what we wanted, our waitress came over with menus and to take our drink orders. She seemed confused that I wanted the French toast breakfast sandwich without meat. There are some vegetarian options on the menu but not a ton. I understand (and dislike) that I have to pay for the meat I'm not eating. My mom got the vegetable crepes with egg whites. She thought she found the one savory item that didn't have eggs, but got the egg whites when she found out it came with eggs. My dad also got the French toast breakfast sandwich but with bacon. We ordered a side of breakfast potatoes and grits. The grits were SO good. Definitely my favorite part of the meal. They forgot to bring them out, but when we asked they came out pretty quickly. The potatoes were good too, flavorful but maybe a little salty. The breakfast sandwich was yummy, but there wasn't enough eggs for the amount of bread. I think even if it had meat, the bread to filling ratio was off. We also had to ask for syrup, which is fine, but the menu implied it came with it. My mom didn't love the crepes, but thought they were okay. They came with a spicy sauce but she felt like it needed something else. Overall, it was pretty good but I don't think we were wow-ed.

We were greeted at our table by Deja, who was incredibly welcoming and full of energy--she really set the tone for the experience. My boys are usually picky eaters, but she nailed their orders on the first try without any confusion, which is no small feat. As for me, I went with the nachos topped with beef and beans, and they were fantastic. The chips were crispy and held up perfectly under all the toppings--ground beef, cheese, and all the good stuff. It would've made any "master chef" proud. The salsas deserve their own mention. I honestly can't say enough about them. The little reddish salsa was my favorite, but the warm salsa was also excellent--full of flavor and a nice twist compared to the usual cold options. We also added a side of queso, because let's be honest, you can't go wrong with cheese dip. Overall, the food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy right before a Braves game at The Battery Atlanta. I'd absolutely return next time I'm in the area. Great job, folks.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

That said, the space made it feel manageable. It has a charming farmhouse-style aesthetic, and the seating is arranged in a way that keeps it from feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Once we were seated, we were greeted by a warm and attentive server who immediately made us feel taken care of. She offered water, gave us time to settle in, and was knowledgeable when answering questions about the menu--always a plus. As we sipped our drinks and eased into the morning, time seemed to pass effortlessly. Our food arrived without us even realizing how long we'd been waiting, which is always a good sign. Everyone in my party genuinely enjoyed their meals. My eggs were cooked exactly how I like them--soft scrambled, which is harder to get right than it should be, so that alone earned points. I also had the chance to taste a few other dishes at the table. The grit bowl was standout-level good--so much so that my friend cleaned the bowl completely. The pimento grits with the biscuit paired perfectly with the berry jam, which added just the right touch of sweetness. I also loved the potato fritters--they're like hash browns, but the fritter style gives you a completely different experience from your typical breakfast side. Crispy, satisfying, and definitely worth ordering. As for my French toast--it was perfectly done and incredibly satisfying. A sweet, comforting finish to a great dining experience. Overall, between the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food, this place definitely delivered. I'd gladly wait again.
