I heard that the Red Eyed Mule had amazing Biscuits and Gravy and everyone who said that didn't do them justice!! Absolutely mouth watering delicious and amazing! The biscuits were so fluffy and held their own against the gravy which was out of this world on its own. My mom got an omelette and loved every bite. My husband got the corn beef hash and apparently it was the best he had ever had, and that's really saying something! It's a tiny place but it is so charming and inviting. The staff is so polite and everything came out quickly. I honestly wish we lived closer because we would make this one of our go to places!

Stopped by for breakfast. Waited in a short line. And sat at the bar until it was ready. Others ordered at and found a booth to sit. It wasn't the largest place so id go fairly early in order to find somewhere to sit. Biscuits were big. I'm not a fan of the egg. I prefer an actual scrambled egg. But this was a round egg. Fit the biscuit perfectly. I would be back and try something different

This is a hidden gem for breakfast and brunch. If you like biscuits you gotta come here. I can't saw enough at the biscuits!! Every time I come I'm like I need one to go! They are so nice and fluffy and buttery.. and huge! In the flip side I'm a grits girl and based on everything I read about this places grits I had to give them a try. So I tried them twice and each time I was like no. These are not 3 cheese grits and they are missing something. Overall I would not recommend the grits but that's me. Everything else I've had has been on point. The service is good. You come in and order at the counter and they bring the food to you. This place gets packed but every time u have come I have been able to find sitting and parking. Overall a good place to check out!!

Generous portions and delicious food. One of the best breakfast biscuits I've had. It gets really busy and has a cult following apparently. It's your typical diner layout and just feels like you are gonna get good food. Will definitely be back.

The breakfast is pretty consistent. The line can get long during breakfast. The restaurant is very cozy and quaint. You can call ahead and place your order to save time.

We'd been here 2 years ago after the Cobb Co. gem & mineral show to mixed results - I recall a long wait for food & we had to sit outside on a chili day. Today (also after the gem show) was much better. Seated inside (it looks like an old Waffle House or Huddle House-type place but that suits its style), we got burgers, which seem larger than expected & come on Texas toast. They're reasonably priced but the sides are $4 for fries (large enough to share), $6 for onion rings (good). Plus, the server said the o-rings first brought out weren't enough, so they went back & cooked more & brought more out hot. Nice touch. Good tea & Coke fountain products. Other than bringing food out, there's not much service needed but they do clear the table for you.

This place was a little different in that you have to order your food, then sit down and they bring it to you. I ordered the corned beef hash and my wife had the Mule Basket. I have to say, corned beef was handmade and the biscuits were amazing! It's definitely one of the best breakfast I've had in a while. My wife loved her meal as well, the sausage and gravy along with the Mule chips were great together. The grits were pretty good too. The size of the plates served are pretty good, definitely enough to fill you up with a little left over. The only thing I didn't like here is the coffee, it definitely needs some work. I'll be back for more of those biscuits!

I have had this place on my "want to try" lists for some time. Mostly for it's burgers. I finally got the chance to go and wasn't disappointed. The location seems to be a retrofitted diner with some counter space and seats similar to Waffle House. In fact, I would bet it was an old Waffle House. They have several outside seatings as well, but I decided not to sit outside due to the heavy. My order consisted of Jakes Sloppy Slaw Burger which has what I guess is a Sloppy Joe type chili and coleslaw topping. I didn't pay attention, but i would have asked for cheese on this, which would have probably held onto the slaw or sloppy jimmy more. This sandwich was what Food Network rated as a top pic for Atlanta. With it, I got an order of Onion rings as well. The burger itself was nicely done at a Medium temp. It was juicy and had just the right amount of seasoning to it. It didn't have any smokey taste but the Sloppy Jimmy and Coleslaw added a bit of a sweetness to the bites. The burger is more close to a melt than anything as it's placed between two buttered texas toast slices. This actually made it easier to pick up, but the sloppy Jimmy and Cole Slaw still wanted to escape a little. Please eat in the safety of your home or table. :D The onion rings were very tasty as well, but maybe a little too salty. The salt was in the batter from what I could tell as I didn't see any salt thrown over it and it was more saturating into the rings than anything. I was never offered any sauce, but had they had a fry sauce of some kind, I think it could have further enhanced the flavor or experience overall of the onion rings. I think I would still prefer these over the fries though. Decorations in the location are all Western Farm like. With the name Red Eyed Mule, I imagine I'm eating at a diner in the middle of Texas maybe, or Oklahoma. Somewhere desolate and boring, but this place brings joy, because you got a good burger in your hands. I would recommend eating here at least once, It's not my favorite, but it's a decent burger overall.

One of the best biscuits I've had in years! I ordered the fried chicken plate (chicken, eggs, cheese grits, and a biscuit. I took one bite of the chicken before I had it into a chicken biscuit. It was amazing! Sides were good, but that biscuit was the main event.

It's a greasy spoon type of joint but never misses. The Food Network recognition is worth it. The burgers and cheese grits alone is worth the trip. It's a diner with the open kitchen, a counter, indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of nostalgic artifacts all around is how I'd explain the aesthetic. For our Sunday breakfast we ventured here because I've been meaning to take my bf. I'd gone before and was amazed by the corned beef hash and biscuits! This wasn't out the can but fresh corned beef. Highly recommend! Today we ordered the hamburger breakfast plate and the garden omelette. Drinks are self-serve for sodas, coffee and water. Seat yourself as well after you pay at the counter. The food comes up fast and served hot. The burger was seasoned just right and the grits are amazing. Egg meals have a surcharge due to the recent spike in the cost but worth it. The garden omelet was topped with avocado and packed with onions, bell peppers, spinach and mushrooms - just how I like it. Coffee was hot and tastes great. There's more on the menu I want to try so we'll be back!

I was really craving a really good hamburger and decided to come to the red eyed mule. FYI, the Resturant is going to be packed! So be patient. They're a lot of locals and regulars that come here. we were able to get a seat fairly quickly! we both ordered hamburgers with lettuce, tomato cheese, onions, fries, and a drink. The hamburgers are really good. The only thing I wish is that we had a choice between Texas toast and a regular sesame seed bun. That is my only grip. I prefer buns over Texas toast. Other than that, this is a really great burger joint. The the vibe of the restaurant is like a diner. There's not a lot of seating, but I feel like you'll get a seat very quickly.

Came here for the first time as a walk in party of 2. We both tried the spicy chicken biscuit and thought it was tasty! Impressive how light and fluffy the biscuit is. We will be back!

Vanessa was our waitress and she was so, so sweet and absolutely wonderful. They were so busy, but the staff was so great throughout it all. An ode to the Breakfast Tasting ($19), which each of us got. It came with your choice of pancake, waffle, or french toast, so we got to try them all. We got 2 of the pancakes and that was the move because the pancakes were the best out of the 3. Note that the pancakes aren't your typical fluffy and sweet pancakes. They were crispy and definitely not as sweet, but add the syrup and homemade jam and they were *~*chef's kiss*~*. The Breakfast Tasting was literally everything I've ever wanted in a brunch at a restaurant. I always want to sample a bit of everything, but I usually have to be strategic about ordering with a group of people, where everyone gets something different and then we get to taste each other's. We didn't have to do that at Season! Literally everything on the tasting plate was incredible--eggs (we all added cheese), bacon, sausage (a patty, not a link, which I liked!), biscuit, grits (we all added cheese), colcannon fritter, avocado, fruit, yogurt with granola. So much food, we all had leftovers. I also got the Iced Chai Latte ($6) and it was soo good. The spiced caramel cold foam?! OMG, amazing. I cannot wait to be back and try more, but it'll be really hard to not order the Breakfast Tasting.

Listen, I usually keep my "hidden gems" locked in the vault because once the brunch crowd finds…read moreout, it's game over. But my spirit was led to share. I swung by Season on a Thursday late morning - trying to beat the weekend warriors - and let me tell you, the ancestors were smiling on me because I got sat immediately. The space is that perfect small-to-medium sweet spot. It's cozy but doesn't feel like you're sitting in the next person's lap. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and while I could see a line forming fast on a Saturday, the flow was smooth. It's got that "if you know, you know" energy that I appreciate. I started with a freshly squeezed OJ. Simple, right? Wrong. This wasn't that watered-down carton stuff; it was crisp, vibrant, and felt like a hug for my immune system. For the main event, I went with the Tamale Huevos Rancheros. These were two handmade chicken tamales topped with eggs - I requested mine fried hard, because runny yolks are a bridge too far for me - along with house-made salsa, crema, avocado, and bacon. The flavor profile was elite. The tamales were authentic and seasoned to perfection, with a soulfulness that reminded me why I love a well-executed fusion dish. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! I couldn't just stop there, so I added a Maduro buttermilk pancake and the cheddar grits to the order. Let's talk about these grits for a second. These are hands down some of the best I've ever had. No exaggeration. They were creamy, sharp, and seasoned like the chef actually likes the people they're cooking for. Even the pancake was a revelation - it was very unique and stood out from the standard "flat and sugary" situation you get at most spots. If you're looking for a spot that actually delivers on the hype without the pretentious atmosphere, this is it. It's the kind of meal that makes you want to go home and take a nap, but also call your parents and tell them you're eating well. I'll be back, just please don't take my seat when I do.

I also loved that they can refill the pita bread which went by quickly. Most of the table ordered the lamb skewers which I thought was a good. I'd give it an 8/10. I thought the flavors paired nicely and it was a different taste than the skewers I've ordered before. My brother ordered the salmon and he really enjoyed that. The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation.
