Best brisket in GA. That's it. That's the whole review and why I come here. I mean there are other things that are good but this is the closest I can get to Texas brisket. It's worth the drive. Oh ok I lied. Smoked wings are also VERY GOOD. They have expanded the restaurant over the years since they've been open. Nice and spacious, TVs available, service is adequate (order and sit yourself). GO GET SOME BRISKET.

This is our newest favorite BBQ spot in Marietta. Spots with good, clean smoked pork are few and far between now. This hits the mark - and the sides do too. Love love the crispy shoestring fries. This is a weekly stop for us.

Righteous Que is a great spot that I have been going to for years now and will keep going to for years to come. The ambiance is just what you would want from a BBQ joint. It's simple with a lot of tables for small or big groups. The service is always great. Not only is the staff very quick but they are also helpful and very nice too. The food is top notch. I usually get a sandwich but I always get the Mac and cheese. There isn't much that can beat it. In terms of price it's going to cost you more than an average fast food meal, but the taste is much better than a fast food meal. It is great value for some really good BBQ with great side options. Overall Righteous Que is a great place to stop if you're in the mood for some good BBQ and some good southern sides.

Great food, genuinely some of the best brisket I've ever had and their Mac and cheese is phenomenal! However recently they've been skimping on sauces HEAVILY, I ordered a POUND of rib for a get together and after having to ask for sauce assuming some would be in the brisket container they handed me 2 small sauce cups, and while I heavily recommend their white sauce, that much for a pound is insane- would be 5 stars with a little extra Sauce.

This place has always had delicious BBQ, but they are now serving the best macaroni and cheese along with it and so earned a five star rating. PS- the wings and still the best in the city!

I've always been curious but finally stopped by for a late lunch when I noticed it next door to Belen de la cruz when we were there to pick up some empanadas. The bbq menu looked pretty basic and straightforward. I saw them slicing brisket behind the glass so I felt like I had no choice but to order a brisket sandwich. Comes with one side so I got the mac and cheese - but being indecisive as I was, I ended up ordering another side of fried okra. Everyone was super nice and patient while I ordered and took a quick video of the brisket slicing. The brisket was HOT and fresh and my mouth was watering while I watched them hold up the slab to the camera. Overall, everything was pretty tasty for a reasonable price. I prefer my brisket a little fattier/marbled but otherwise it was good. Not the best bbq I've had but a definitely solid meal that I would stop back in for if I were in the area again!

Love Love Love Georgia BBQ!!!! At the suggestion of my little brother who lives in Georgia we decided to order enough bbq for a family visit of 13 people. They had everything packaged up in nice serving tins and it was a huge amount of bbq and sides. The pulled pork was super tender and nice and juicy with just the right amount of smoke. The sliced chicken was the same!!!! We got mac and cheese, green beans and collards all of which we some of my favorite. Fyi the collards were out of bounds good!!!!!

Pork, brisket, green beans and Mac and cheese were all delicious!

I can definitely see where they get the name. Everything about my first visit was righteous! Counter style restaurant that sells you meat by the ounce, walk up, tell them your weight and what sides and you're eating within 5 minutes of stepping in the restaurant. I tried some pork and brisket on this visit and both were to my liking. They have a sweet, spicy and white vinegar based sauces. All are great! If you like well done BBQ this spot hits!

Lots of close-up free parking. And ahhh...the food: My strategy at all-you-can-eat buffets is this: for the first plate, I just take one bite-sized serving of each item that looks good. Then for the second plate, I go back and get more of my favorites, the items that tasted the best. Then the third plate I try the items I didn't try, the things that maybe didn't "look good" or whatever. Cornbread: savory, southern style (not the sweet yankee corn cake you get at other places) Collard Greens: seasoned southern style, from fresh, not canned. Beef tips: tender chunks in gravy, with white rice or mashed potatoes, your choice. Baked chicken: tender, juicy, with carrots and onions. BBQ chicken: on the bone, tender, juicy, a little bit spicy. Cabbage: lightly seasoned, tender Salad: iceberg or romaine lettuce, sweet beets, olives, croutons, tomatoes, grated cheese, and lots of other choices. Spaghetti: good, but not as good as Frankie's (Amazing Italian Restaurant across the street) Sweet Potato: candied, with cinnamon. Side dish or dessert. Peach cobbler: yummy! The crust was soooo good. Sweet tea: included in price. I get half sweet, half unsweet, no ice. And the server mixed it perfectly. I'll post a photo of their weekly menu. There are daily staples for every day, then weekly specials. The restroom was clean.

Not fresh at first, but decent if you push for it…read more I was pretty disappointed with how long the chicken and chicken livers had clearly been sitting out. When I arrived, I grabbed a piece of chicken and it was already cold, so I decided to wait for them to bring out a fresh batch. Same thing with the chicken livers: cold and not refreshed the entire time we were eating. Near the end of the meal, I finally asked if they were planning to put out fresh chicken. I explained that I tried it when I got there (about 30 minutes earlier) and it was cold, and nothing had been replaced. The staff member said she could start working on some, so I waited. About 12 to 15 minutes later, they did bring out fresh chicken and fresh chicken livers, and honestly, when it's fresh it's actually pretty good. The mashed potatoes were another issue. They had a thick, crusty layer on top, and it looked like they dumped the old, dried-out potatoes from the previous pan over the fresh batch. I had to scrape off the crusty topping just to get to the fresh potatoes underneath. Overall, the food itself isn't terrible. The bigger problem is the way it's being handled. It felt like they were more focused on cutting costs and stretching old food than keeping the buffet fresh and consistent. My advice: if something you want looks like it's been sitting out too long, say something early before you sit down. If you wait, you may never see fresh food brought out.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Upon entering the store, I was disappointed that you can't see the food. It's not like a cafeteria with the food warming up front. Decided on the baked chicken plate that comes with rice and two sides. Added a drink - the mango lemonade. All for about $18 plus tax. They only have banana pudding for dessert. Was looking forward to peach cobbler or cakes even. Service counter was pleasant and worked quickly as more customers arrived. The restaurant is a takeout but they have a grass wall for photo opportunities on the Gram. The food: The chicken quarter was seasoned well and tasty. The rice was a bit under cooked and tough. The green beans were done with lots of garlic and sautéed. I liked it but I could see how my son didn't. The macaroni and cheese was underwhelming. There was no seasoning or flavor. It tasted smoky and a bit chalky. The mango lemonade was a hit. Overall, I'd try other plates like the salmon and the Soul Roll. Glad to have some other comfort food options in Cobb as well.
