They did a pop up at my job and when I saw the menu, I knew I had to try the food. By the time I was able to place my order, they still had food left, thankfully and there was no line! The setup was like a catering event with chargers and sternos on a table. The meal came with a meat and two sides so I got the chicken with spicy BBQ sauce, baked beans, and potato salad. I also got an additional side of pasta salad and got the last peach cobbler and a slice of pound cake. They roasted me on the amount of food I ordered but I really enjoyed the staff. They were funny and very personable. Chicken - Moist but the BBQ sauce is what made it hit! It does come with a bun. Baked Beans - Really good and not too sweet. Potato Salad - Good but I missed the eggs. Shrimp and Crab pasta - This was my absolute fave out of everything! The pieces, I'm not talking tiny pieces, of crab and the shrimp were PLENTIFUL! I started to go back down and just purchase the entire pan. It was really good! If you love seafood, I would highly recommend this. Peach Cobbler - Love! Would definitely try again. Pound Cake - Haven't tried it yet but I just know it will be good based on everything else. Support this small business. You will not be dissappointed. read more

a solid 3.5 stars I was washing some pet beds next door at the peachy clean and was waiting for my stuff when I popped into this place. I was there about 2:30pm and there was a slew of people...it looked like the Lion's club was holding their meeting there or something...not sure...anyway I got the BBQ sandwich along with some fries and a drink. The woman behind the counter was super nice and friendly and my order came out in no time. To be honest I wasn't that impressed with it. We were finally able to get Uncle C's ribs on a Saturday afternoon. I've stopped by multiple times and they've been sold out every time. This time I was in the area so I stopped by the food truck, instead of the restaurant. The food truck is in the parking lot of a checking place, at very busy intersection. It's easy to access and there is plenty of parking. You know it's the real deal because they have the grill with the meat, right next to the food truck. I didn't realize that the truck only has meat, not sides. The super nice guy on the food truck called the store to see if they had ribs, so I could just make one purchase. However the store informed him that the were out of ribs. No problem, I'll get my ribs from the food truck and go to the rest for my sides. I ordered a full slab and had them within minutes. Then I headed to the restaurant, which is only about 500 ft across the street. I get to the store prepared to order a bunch of sides and BAM they are out of mac and cheese and green beans. We specifically wanted mac and cheese and baked beans, so I decide to leave. I get home and we try the ribs. They are very tender. I'm on the fence about the sauce because I love thick sweet and spicy sauce and their sauce is very thin. That confused me a bit because they sell bottled sauce and it looks nice and thick. My husband and I agree that we may give them one more try. I'm going to try and get there earlier in the afternoon, being hopeful that they will not be out of multiple items. read more

My family and I absolutely adore Uncle C's food truck on the corner of Bells Ferry Rd and Hwy 92. After seeing it driving by a few times, we decided one weekend that we will stop by to try. We had an order of Jerk Chicken (dark meat) and were blown away. The spicy sauce on the Jerk Chicken is delicious and very flavorful. The Jerk Chicken (white meat) is just as pleasing. On a different occasion, we had an order of the Ribs. It is very tender and practically falls off the bone. Their Brunswick Stew also does not disappoint. We have not found anything on the menu that we don't like!! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for some good local BBQ!! read more

Special Delivery! First of all the macaroni and cheese was great! Very cheesy, but not over board. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not too hard, not too soggy! When it was gone, I kept looking for it on my plate. The string beans were delicious! Cooked perfectly. The seasoning was very well balanced. The string beans were very soft and they still had the integrity of their shape. The ribs! The show stopper of this meal! The ribs are remarkable! Wow this place is really impressive. Super low key, no one inside but ma and pop at 430 pm, but man, what I ordered was go good. This is going to be my regular BBQ joint from now on....actually only Thursday-Sundays. They don't open mon-weds. GANGSTA. Reminds me of Freddie's from House of Cards. BEEF BRISKET PLATE the plate is smaller with a few slices of brisket , and I ordered mac n cheese and baked beans as my sides. Beans are on sweeter side but good if you like the sweeter taste. Wanted to try Uncle C's as the reviews have been so positive. We did take-out. We tried the Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad. Ribs were very good, moist and tasty. Chicken and Brisket have a spice we did not care for. Good quality meat, but we want to taste the meat, not spice. Mac & Cheese is very nice. Potato Salad was surprisingly good. We normally dislike Potato Salad we don't make at home, this one is an exception. VERY FRIENDLY owners and it's great to support small business like this. We were driving by and saw the sign for the restaurant on Hwy. 92- me immediately made a right turn and we're glad we did!! They have the best Brunswick Stew we've ever had. Seriously. The brisket was still cooking but that gives us a reason to come back! The ribs are smoky and super meaty- really great flavor. The hub's had the pork sandwich and it had plenty of meat on it. I had Mac and Cheese and potato salad and both were done right. The M&C is really cheesy and the potato salad tasted like it was made in a grandmother's kitchen. Mr. C's wife gave us a sample of the peach cobbler and it, too, is very good. She spoke of a dish she might put on the menu- M&C with Brunswick Stew on top, covered with cheese and baked. I have driven by here many times, but decided to try it today. It was great. I got the brisket and pulled pork combo plate with Mac n cheese and fries. The brisket was smoked perfectly tender and the pulled pork was moist and delicious. The house-made spicy sauce was perfect on its own, but Uncle C told me most people mix it with the mild. This was my first time at Uncle C's so I didn't know what to expect. To check them out I ordered a bbq sandwich and some Brunswick Stew. For all of you Texans out there, I would like to remind you that real barbecue comes from a pig, not a cow. Uncle C's has two types of sauce, one is sweet the other they call hot. I have tried them both and I prefer the sweet sauce but the hot is very good as well. The BBQ is very good, even without any sauce. The Brunswick Stew was very good, a little thicker then most with a tomato base flavor. The restaurant is very clean and the people are super nice. If you like BBQ give this place a try, but check the website for hours and days they are open first. I was very happy with my order and the quality of what I received for the price. read more

My wife and I got a hankering for some BBQ and decided to try somewhere new. The initial directions and address led us astray but we finally managed to locate the restaurant. It was a bit run down and one of the doors was off the hinges but the staff was friendly and quickly filled our order. I got a BBQ rib and chicken combo. The ribs were meaty and tasty. The BBQ sauce on the tables was pretty good as well. The chicken left a bit to be desired. The winner of the day was the Brunswick Stew. I got a small side with my meal but it was so good I got a side to go as well. We will be back as I want more of the stew and to try the pulled pork. read more

I've passed their food truck so many times it's embarrassing. So today, I couldn't do it I just had to stop. I ordered the white and dark chicken jerky. It is definitely enough for two people;, it is absolutely delicious and well worth your money. I would say that there are bones in the chicken because the chicken is chopped into chunks so you do need to be careful but it is truly a delicious meal. I ordered the meal spicy because the woman serving us said that's how she ate it and I figured she knew what was really delicious. We stopped by here after going to the Amicalola Waterfalls. They were out of many o the meats, but we did arrive around 5 pm. This means lots of people love it here. They did have just enough for a rib sandwich and she gave us drinks on the house and a taste of their Brunswick stew. My brother ordered the chopped pork sandwich. The sandwiches were delicious with Texas toast, perfectly toasted. The ribs had such good flavor. The chopped pork was also super tasty. They had a mild and a hot bbq sauce. This is the best rib place in the surrounding Woodstock area!! We have tried the other 3 local BBQ joints and they don't compare to Uncle C's food. All of his food is made from scratch and once it's gone for the day; it's gone. He does not serve leftovers (I had a nice chat with the pit master himself). I usually get the 3 rib plate with various sides. The ribs are always smoked, tender, and flavorful. Have you ever been to a rib joint where you can smell the delicious smoke but you cannot taste it as if the meat was really cooked in an oven? Not here. Smokey yumminess in every bite. My husband loves the jerk chicken and I have to admit it is also delicious but I never stray from the ribs. I just have a couple of bites of his. We love eating at Uncle C's!!! Great value for the money and real friendly service! First off, I'm not sure if this place has an exact address but this is the nearest that I could get. They operate out of a little trailer at the corner of Bells Ferry and Highway 92....across the street from the Waffle House. The ribs here are excellent, it's $13 for a half-rack and you get some really good-size, meaty ribs. I stopped by here last Saturday after watching this place for awhile. It's hard to miss if you're in the area....you'll see the guy with his smoker out on the side of the road cooking the ribs. The seasoning is really good and the meat has a deep smokey flavor. The service is really good also, the people that operate this stand are extremely friendly. The sauce here, while good, didn't set my world on fire but thats mostly because I compare everyone's sauce to Fatt Matt's....which is the best in the universe in my opinion and probably set a bar that nobody else can reach. This place is already very popular in this area, there was a constant stream of people in and out of here while I was eating. I can see these guys having a restaraunt somewhere soon....they're that good. When you come here, bring cash because that's all they accept and if you want to eat there, it's all outside.
