    Cajun Poutine with Brisket

Cajun poutine was really good great smoke flavor on the brisket. Wings were cooked perfectly & the perfect size.

Maque choux, Mac n' cheese, pulled pork with mustard sauce, refrigerator pickled onion & cucumber
    Hap C.

I want to rate this 3.5 stars, but Yelp doesn't give you an option for partials. That said, I'll give a good & bad analysis. The Good: - Service is on point, attentive but not invasive, friendly & informative but not overly talkative - Mustard sauce has a depth of flavor that not many other varieties exhibit - Pulled pork bark is crispy without being overly jerky - The Manuel's choux has a full range of seasoning & texture, slightly sweet, very savory, creamy yet crunchy (from the corn), and even though the sauce was broken it didn't detract from the yumminess of the dish. - The refrigerator pickles have a unique profile that I haven't been able to pinpoint the particular aromatic ingredient that they season them with - The portion of pulled pork was more than enough to fill this diner's empty belly. - Bathrooms are tidy & clean, obviously checked by the staff with regularity - Numerous televisions to be able to watch sports from almost every seat in the house - Hardwood split logs that indicate the kitchen isn't trying to pass off charcoal briquettes and pellets as the smoke mechanism during the cooking process Fix the sticky tables and the mac n' cheese and this review would be 4 - 4.5 stars. The Bad: - The tables could benefit from sanding & refinishing. The one I sat at had the stickiness you usually feel when you sit down at a dive bar that has had quite a few beer spills in its lifetime. - Parts of the pulled pork were a little dried out, so the BBQ sauce was necessary to make it palatable; not all of the serving was dried out, so a little more consistency would improve the overall grade. - They were out of collards (one of my favorite Southern sides), so I had to opt for the 5 cheese Mac n' cheese, which was very underwhelming, specifically lack of savoriness, savoriness, and overall satisfaction for a dish that has the guilty pleasure one expects out of its reputation. What I was served was a dense, dry, broken amalgamation of carbs that looked like leftovers from Aunt Carol's failed Thanksgiving lunch.

Service: 9/10 she was extremely friendly. Provided good suggestion on our wings app (not pictured) and followed up at appropriate times. Food: It was so hard to decide. Everything sounded so good! We ended up with Wings dry with her suggestion to add the sauce on the table. Best sauce in our opinion was the Creole Mustard with the wings. Hint of spice and tang. Next up entrees, he went with the pulled pork, 8/10 overall. Collards are an acquired taste not your typical southern style. Pork was moist and smoked to perfection. Red beans and rice 10/10! Only thing would probably be to have toasted bread instead of just a slice. Shrimp and grits, 10/10 just like on Bourbon street... Ambiance: It's quiet but busy. Lots of TVs, good for a game day. They only serve beer and wine. It's a little hidden gem right next to Tractor Supply.

I eat here once a week and didn't think it could get any better. That is until I had brunch there today. Would give 10 stars if I could

Brisket Plate with Greens and Mac & Cheese. ORDER IT.
    Desiree H.

This is the best BBQ I've had in Georgia so far.. I'm glad I took a picture because WOW. I ordered the "Lean" cut brisket and it was still so tender. The spicy BBQ sauce gave it that kick I wanted. The GREENS have so much flavor!! That was my second favorite. The Mac & Cheese was so comforting and I kept coming back to it. I WILL BE BACK!

    House pickles
    Craig G.

I came for the Cajun and it was a bit disappointing. I ordered the Shrimp Po'Boy and it was a good serving with plump shrimp and a spicy remoulade sauce. I asked for dill pickles and they brought house pickles and pickled onions. Both had strong clove overtones and I didn't eat them. The bread is Leidenheimer, which is a softer bread and no crisp crust like the traditional French bread or baguettes used for some Po'Boys. The Maque Choux was soupy rather than creamy and it didn't have any Tasso or bacon to enhance the seasoning. The sweet corn and bell peppers were the dominant flavor with a plain hint of heat, but at least the corn was fresh tasting. It's a stingy portion served in a small ramekin and not worth the premium they charge for this dish. The dirty rice was rather boring although a better portion. Instead of sausage or Tasso to bring flavor, they use their BBQ. So there's a hint of smoky pork in the flavor. It was unfortunate that they don't offer French fries as a side item which is a de rigueur pairing with fried fish, seafood, and BBQ. Instead they give you a bag of Zapp's potato chips. I requested the Crawtator flavor, but unfortunately they were out. Service was very friendly and attentive. The owner/manager made visits to tables on this Friday night visit. The setting has hard floors and big glass windows, so it's a cold modern feel versus the homey warmth of a old style BBQ joint.

    Brunswick Stew!!
    Josh A.

Went here with my brother in law since he is always raving about the place! I ordered t a bowl of the Brunswick stew and some wings with a spicy sauce. The Brunswick stew came out and it is a strong contender for my favorite Brunswick stew. It is totally different than my other favorite, so comparing them does not make sense. I will say that this Brunswick stew was filled to the brim with meat and was amazingly satisfying with a little bit of spice. I can't wait for it to get cold out so I can just get a bowl of that to go for lunch. It is that good. The smoked wings came out and I was a tad disappointed that they did not have any smoky flavor. Don't get me wrong, they were still very good, but lacked the smokey flavor I was looking for. The service was perfect and my drink was never less than half full. Inside the restaurant is nicely appointed and comfortable and the seatings comfortable. I would whole heartedly recommend this joint for a taste of some "unconventional" bbq! 4.5 stars!

    Shrimp & grits

*Food There aren't many Cajun BBQ places around. I know of a couple in Roswell that I really enjoy, but it's nice to have one on this side of town, too. I have to admit, we didn't order much in terms of BBQ though. With things like shrimp & grits on the menu, it needs to be tried out. Turns out, it's pretty good. I had the chicken sandwich ... which probably sounds pretty boring, but in fact, it was smoked and blackened w/ Cajun spices. Really good. The only let-down was the jalapeno hushpuppies, and it wasn't that they tasted bad... just that it would have been better to call them fritters since it didn't taste or have a consistency anything close to a hushpuppy. *Service We weren't sitting long before we were greeted. We got the rundown of favorites and things to try. Attentive... but above that, it felt... appreciative. *Ambiance Haven't been to a place this friendly in a while. I thought everyone here must have been family since they all seemed genuinely into the success of the place, even the hostess gave us her rundown of the specials and how good it was. If you like sports, there's a lot of TVs. There are also a lot of booths. There's a communal high top with a lot of seats in the middle, as well. Laid back, friendly... I dig it. It's also right by TSC if you need to pick up a few bags of deer corn.

Cajun Poutine Pulled Pork Sandwich Jalapeño Coleslaw

Our host/waitress was very sweet and helped me so much with my many questions recommended the poutine that I very much enjoyed as well as the brisket that was very tender, ribs fall off the bone, sauces are very strong in flavor which is a good thing lol. Many side options except no potatoes salad which is a first and I think a must! Favorite side was the baked beans! Ambience was nice place clean overall great experience

With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.
