    Alfredo + classic burger

Best restaurant and the best service around! Breezy, the hospitality manager, went above and beyond for our first time eating here. Food was amazing! Highly recommend, especially 3-6 for social hour specials.

    Hanger Steak
    Andy X.

TLDR: hanger steak was very good, mashed potatoes were eh. Came here for a rehearsal dinner with a large group. We got appetizers of French loaf rosemary bread, fries, and fried green tomatoes. The bread was a bit tough, fries were standard, and fried green tomatoes were quite good. The hanger steak on the other hand was very well cooked, tender and flavorful. I thought it was a bit undercooked at first for medium rare but ended up being perfect. Mashed potatoes were a bit dry but the steak with chimichurri made up for it. I wish the chimichurri was a little more acidic? Great service, very attentive with bringing water refills and taking additional orders.

    Mac and Cheese

This was our first and likely last visit. Service wasn't very good, we never got checked on after our food came. I ordered the Mac and Cheese but it was literally noodle soup :(

    Southern Salmon

Had a great night at Riverstone corner bistro. Had one small issues and it was fixed quickly. Not even anything to make a scene about. Service was great, food was super. Will definitely back!

    Salmon BLT Sandwich* Cheese Grits

I am in love with the Salmon BLT, especially with added Avacado! It is so delicious. They are always pretty busy, but the service is always speedy. I love coming here for monthly brunch with my friends. The rooftop patio looks very nice! I have also tried the Crab Cake Sandwich and it's so good. I highly recommend!

    Shrimp and Grits

I've been ordering the Shrimp and Grits from the RCB restaurant for the past three years. I formerly gave this plate a review of five stars, but I'm now amending my review to two stars. Although it's still tasty there's hardly any grits in the plate. For $22 this plate is sorely lacking in substance. I spoke with the manager and he offered to get me more grits, but I said that's really not the point. I should've had enough grits in the first place. Regrettably, I won't be going back.

    Live music

Nice service, decent food, great live music. Came with my husband and parents and got to eat out on the balcony in the shade on a perfect warm evening. We had the pleasure of live music which was lovely. Mom and I tried the meatloaf which was quite good. My husband had the Southern Belle Burger and my dad had the pork chop. All the food was good. The free dessert for first time guests was a brownie to share - it was quite hard unfortunately. The pimento app was pretty small and the crustini were extremely hard, thought I might chip a tooth. We also thought the service was a bit slow but could be how they do things here.

We frequent here. The food is very good. The prices are good as well. The hummus is wonderful, can't go wrong with the hanger steak. Everything we've ever ordered here is very good. The atmosphere is great. You can dine in or eat out on the deck. The bar is open and good drinks are flowing. The service is wonderful as well. Very friendly

Riverstone Corner Bistro is fantastic! The fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, and southern fried chicken (steak and pork chops too!) are all amazing. Prices are fair, portions are big, and the rooftop bar is a great bonus with live music Thursday to Sunday. Service is always friendly and attentive--definitely one of my go-to spots!

Amazing service by Ryley and the bar!

Our lunch was phenomenal. We did the special half soup and half sandwich. Ryley was a sweetheart. And of course, the food was phenomenal as always.

We had reservations for 5:30 and they quickly seated us. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive and we never lacked for drink refills. The seating is comfortable and there is upstairs dining accessible by elevator. I ordered the special, a thick cut pork chop. While my wife had the Trout Almondine. For side we chose the creamed kale and risotto. Before our dishes came out I had the kitchen salad with bleu cheese dressing and their complimentary bread. The dipping sauce was nice and a real twang. It was nice and unique for a few bites, but the vinegar was too strong to enjoy it past a few tastings. The salads were nice but nothing terribly exciting and with big leafs of greenery on a flat plate to challenge your dexterity. My pork chop was perfectly cooked and the flavors were fantastic. I'm not a kale fan, but there take was very good. Although the amount of lemon used in the flavoring was a bit too strong for more than a few bites. My risotto also had a sour note, but not as strong, and they were wonderfully creamy. We sampled each other's entrees and I'm not a fish person, but I almost (but not quite) almost regretted not getting the trout. It was absolutely delicious. And the sauce on my pork chop was fantastic. At the end of our meal I visited the restroom, which was where things turned downhill. I know older buildings can be a challenge to keep nice, and there's no predicting when a previous patron can leave a mess. But when I saw the revolting detritus piled in the corner, it was obvious the dirtiness of the bathroom was due to staff neglect over an extended period.

I guess it's hard to get help these days but I digress... Our server, Macie was Ah-Macie-ng! She handled the busyness with class and in stride. She was attentive and checked on us often. My hubby got the pot roast with mashed potatoes. He enjoyed it. I ordered the lunch special of a house salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a loaded baked potato. The classic house salad has cheese, bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, and croutons. The baked potato was huge with butter, bacon, cheese, sour cream, and green onions. I also ordered a side of the garlic steak tips which were delicious also. The dining room, bathrooms and store were clean. A huge shoutout to Chris in the store who welcomed us as soon as we walked in. So nice!! I'm knocking off a star simply because of the wait in line and once we got to the register, the kitchen manager was helping out. He was grumpy and couldn't wait to get out at 2. I know we all have rough days.. but this was the end of our experience and it just didn't finish on a high note. Be it the restaurant or the store, you want to feel good about parting with your money. Had I not had a gift card, I would've paid for the meal on the app and put away the store merch due to the long wait. Hopefully they will have this rectified next time we head in.

I wasn't especially hungry but Husband was and it had been a minute since we had burgers. I said "As long as they have the sprouts..." IYKYK. The girl at the counter was adorable and super nice, she confirmed they did have sprouts so I just got that and a Coke. My husband got a cinnamon apple whiskey sour, the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings. The side patio had heaters going and it was a really pleasant experience out there now that the weather has cooled down. But y'all... Por que no gusto? I was so happy to see that little paper boat full of Brussels sprouts and they were so crispy. But I think I've said all along that "chipotle ranch" feels like a misnomer because I sense neither. (Husband confirms.) Yet they were SO good the first few times I had them, whatever they're dusted in. I stopped to think maybe my preferences have just changed that significantly in the past year or so. I absolutely did not taste Husband's drink because brown likka is diabolical. But he was a fan! He had me try an onion ring and it was just okay as well, unfortunately. They were definitely thin & crispy but I like a LITTLE somethin' to my food. I was thinking I must have the 'Rona until I tasted his burger. So they CAN still cook good burgers, okay? And that's good because...it's Community Burger. I know we don't need a flavor cage match at every meal, but I honestly think they could probably do more with salt/pepper/garlic. I cannot appreciate how tough the services industries have it right now, and I am rooting for Community Burger to succeed. No one in town charges more for a beer than this place. For example, I enjoy local IPAs and Creature Comforts (Athens) is everywhere. I can go to several other stops in town and pay less for a 16 oz can or pour of this beer. Compared to another decent stop down the street, three roses is almost 30% more. My wife says one of the wines she likes is a little less than other stops, so that's good. But other drink prices tend to be on the high side as well, but most in town have higher liquor prices. That adds up if you like to frequent a place. Hence, we stopped frequenting. Overall, I like the decor and as noted, the food is decent. The upstairs is better than the downstairs but I'm glad they have the downstairs for some occasion when they could get busy. As for the Tavern / entertainment element, I've never seen any live music but they have several TVs. Not sure this would be my top choice to watch a game but it would work in a pinch if the other places were too busy or noisy.
