Tried the Shrimp and Grits on this visit, and the dish really could've used some kind of broth or sauce to pull it together. With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. Service is consistently great, drinks are solid, and we usually leave happy. Hoping this was just an off evening, because we genuinely like coming here. Good experience today. They were packed for lunch, but we only had a short wait. The place was bustling and the servers were really working hard. We had a nice table close to the bar and even though it was noisy, we were able to carry on a conversation. I had the Crabby Patty, a very tasty crab cake sandwich with a delicious remoulade sauce. My partner had the chicken salad on a croissant and he enjoyed his as well. This is a very lively restaurant where everyone seems to have a good time. Our server was amazing and we really enjoyed ourselves. They do take reservations, so it's great if you can plan ahead. There is a nice outdoor patio on top of the restaurant which would be great in nice weather. Highly recommend! read more

TLDR: hanger steak was very good, mashed potatoes were eh. Came here for a rehearsal dinner with a large group. We got appetizers of French loaf rosemary bread, fries, and fried green tomatoes. The bread was a bit tough, fries were standard, and fried green tomatoes were quite good. The hanger steak on the other hand was very well cooked, tender and flavorful. I thought it was a bit undercooked at first for medium rare but ended up being perfect. Mashed potatoes were a bit dry but the steak with chimichurri made up for it. I wish the chimichurri was a little more acidic? Great service, very attentive with bringing water refills and taking additional orders. read more

I made reservations for 11:45 on Fri., May 1. When we arrived (party of 3) we were told that they overbooked and said "It's Reinhardt College Graduation"! Like that was supposed to trump my reservation made in advance. We felt very unwelcome and had to wait about 30 min. until we were seated. Unacceptable to me. Dinner was ok. Server was stressed out and a little surley. Probably won't be back for another $27 lunch. read more

We came here on a quiet Saturday afternoon for an early dinner since the kids love that there is salmon on the kids menu. We order some of the fried green beans and the rosemary loaf to start. The fried green beans and the spicy sauce they serve with it was the star of the entire experience. Delicious! The bread, while tasting good, was not cut all the way through and they did not provide an appropriate knife to do so. This led to mangled bread and each person got what they were able to tear off of it. Not the ideal experience. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and tried to stay somewhat healthy with a chicken Caesar salad. The entree's arrive and the shrimp and grits are woefully dry. Nearly just sauteed shrimp on a bed of grits. My chicken caesar salad came out and the runner placed a few ramekins of dressing on the table. I asked "is the salad not dressed?" and he just pointed at the ramekins and said "that's what those are for, that's your dressing". I can understand a house salad coming with dressing on the side, but never a Caesar. . . Caesars should be delicately tossed in delightful flavorful dressing coating each leaf. After applying the dressing and trying to toss it myself in the small bowl, I took my first bite. The chicken was moist but bland and the lettuce was limp. The chicken tasted like cook was allergic to seasoning. All in all, the kids all enjoyed their meals and the prices were reasonable, especially for the kids entrees. I regret to say that we will only be going back if the kids request it for a special occasion where we let them choose. Giving it three stars because the kids were happy and the price wasn't bad. read more

I've been ordering the Shrimp and Grits from the RCB restaurant for the past three years. I formerly gave this plate a review of five stars, but I'm now amending my review to two stars. Although it's still tasty there's hardly any grits in the plate. For $22 this plate is sorely lacking in substance. Used to be one of our favorites places but we won't be back. The filet was about 6 oz at best and overcooked. The shrimp and grits had TINY shrimp and only about 6 of them on an ocean of grits and onions. I've had this dish there before it didn't look anything like what I used to get and was not near the quality. I should've stuck with the scallop risotto, but I heard they put less scallops on there than they used too. Sad to see a local staple drop their quality. The service was also not up to par. We had the pleasure of live music which was lovely. Mom and I tried the meatloaf which was quite good. My husband had the Southern Belle Burger and my dad had the pork chop. All the food was good. The free dessert for first time guests was a brownie to share - it was quite hard unfortunately. The pimento app was pretty small and the crustini were extremely hard, thought I might chip a tooth. I don't make many reviews, so when I do something either went really right or really wrong. A preface this by saying we've been to Riverstone corner bistro many times and have had great experiences there. Tonight my in-laws wanted to take me out to celebrate my birthday. We were a party of 4+ our infant daughter and arrived around 5:30 PM without a reservation. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait so we proceeded to wait. 45 minutes later, we were finally seated in the patio area of the restaurant which was extremely tight. We were continuously asked to scoot in by hostesses and weight staff. At one point, a hostess asked us to scoot in, and I said I can't scoot in anymore my stomach is already touching the table. The space is so tight. I ordered the grilled chicken dish and so did my father-in-law. The chicken was tough and hard to cut. He didn't finish his. The meal was disappointing. Since it was my birthday, the waitress offered a birthday dessert and gave a list of options. I selected the peach cobbler and we waited about 15 minutes before she came back and said that there wasn't enough peach cobbler to serve me a portion and asked if I wanted something different. I was so fed up from being in the small cramped room and with the subpar dinner that I said, forget the dessert and we paid the bill and left. I'm not sure if management ever reads these reviews, but I thought this was one worth leaving. Riverstone corner bistro has outgrown its location and it's affecting the experience of the people who enjoy coming there. read more

We visited this restaurant last night with some friends. We were told the wait was 30 minutes, however we waited over an hour to be seated. Only 4 of us. When we were seated, our waitress took our order right away. She brought our drinks in great time. Then it was like she forgot about us. We all had burgers and fries. An HOUR later our burgers came out, with no fries. Our fries were another 10 minutes. We spoke to the manager and she offered us a free dessert, which was another 15 minutes, and was not that good. The only food I liked but thibk could be better was the crab bisque. It was ok needed more crab and something I can't put my finger on it. The rosemary bread great with the the oil & basomic vinegar. Now talking about big portion sizes .. I ordered the half chicken fried steak and was shocked!! I was like that's a half!! The white sage gravy is the best. My one recommendation for it is to put it on the side. Not pictures is the cream spinach hands down the best I had! One more recommendation don't sit in the covered area when it's cold out. A colleague referred this amazing restaurant to me. Came in on what seemed like a steady Wednesday and was looking for a seat at the bar. Ended up with a high top table which was equally good. My server Tera was very attentive and checked on me often. Because this was my first time here, she offered a dessert on the house! Super sweet. On to the food. I ordered the fried bone in pork chop over mash potatoes and a side of sautéed green beans. Everything was delicious, especially those beans. I went with the brownie sundae for dessert and it was what took me over the edge! I needed a nap immediately lol. RCB never disappoints! The pimento cheese appetizer was out of this world. Why haven't we thought to heat pimento cheese up before?? The new poke bowl is really tasty too. It uses rice noodles instead of rice, so it's a different take. It has tons of fresh vegetables and fresh tuna. The only thing that would have taken it over the top for me, a little sweet chili sauce. I like to mix spicy mayo with sweet chili. Other than that, everything is always on point. read more

New location is nicer than the previous. Outdoor patio is enclosed enough to avoid the pollen on a sunny spring day but bright enough to make it feel like you're outside. We were there for lunch and the food was good. The hummus was delish, the BALT was alright, the patty melt was a little too greasy and made me feel heavy afterwards. The fries were out-of-a-bag, battered freezer fries, I would guess, even though the waitress said they were "hand cut" when asked. The taps were changing and not updated on the menu yet so after a few back and forth trips to the bar to confirm what they had I was able to find a local beer that I liked. The drinks menu offered a cucumber vodka drink that was pretty good albeit sweet. read more

Honest review here, the atmosphere is OK. The food is definitely overpriced for barely average dishes. Got the hanger steak, which was honestly horrible, super tough and not much flavor. I was super disappointed . Nothing all that interesting pretty basic. Do not know how in the world they receive over four stars... I guess this comes down to people with a little more money and have no taste or don't have very many options but definitely 3 to 3 1/2 star definitely not more. This is Canton not downtown. RCB has the creative menu, the cool vibe and great service. It's the whole package which is why it's packed all the time and getting a reservation takes a few days notice. Been here a few times now. Great cocktails, decent beer list and solid nightly specials. The rooftop is a bonus come cooler weather. This past visit we started with a delish kid app special of roasted radishes with quest herbed cream cheese and bread. It was pretty awesome. Main dish I chose the hanger steak and roasted vegetables. Side of creamed spinach. Pretty amazing. Wife had the salmon which was equally awesome. First Time Guest at this lovely Restaurant! Emma L was our Server and she could not have been more welcoming. She really added to our whole experience! The food we had was so fresh, plated beautifully and tasted delicious. There were many wonderful options on the menu which made the selections difficult. I would highly suggest the Southern Salmon if you are new to this place. The Restaurant is self is large but partitioned off into different areas giving it a cozy feeling. Everything started off fine, but things took a turn when we were abruptly told our time was up and asked to leave -- right after we had finished our meal, paid, and tipped. No one mentioned any time limit when we made the reservation or when we were seated, and at this moment, there is no information about a time limit on their website. Being rushed out in the middle of a birthday celebration felt extremely rude and unnecessary. If we'd known about the time restriction, we would've chosen somewhere else. The food itself was decent, but the poor communication and lack of hospitality completely ruined the experience. Really disappointing way to treat guests celebrating a special occasion. The Good: The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. I ordered the spinach salad with filet tips, and would order it again in a heartbeat. The $7 house margaritas were solid.
