Local spot with great comfort food. We have become regulars enjoying B & B Freehome location at least once a week. Service is good - if there is an issue it's addressed and corrected quickly. Rustic feel to the dining room - casual dining with outdoor patio seating available plus a full bar. Live Music several nights a week which I nice but takes away from being able to have a good conversation. The dining room is small for having live music. Our go to favorites : Ahi Tuna appetizer Salmon BLT Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad Burgers Chicken Sandwich Sweet potato waffle fries Chili Cajun Pasta Meatloaf Fried Chicken - with yummy green beans! I want to be very clear up front: this review is based on one visit, and I genuinely hope what I experienced has since been fixed. I actually think this place is really cool. The space, the concept, the vibe all work. The bartender was excellent. Very professional, very kind, and clearly doing everything he could to hold the night together. I honestly felt bad for him. He was busting his ass nonstop and never seemed to catch a break. Unfortunately, the kitchen was an absolute disaster. From the start, four or five items on the menu were immediately unavailable. As the night went on, more and more dishes were 86'd. The message coming out of the kitchen was that they simply did not have the ingredients to cook what was on the menu, which is a pretty alarming thing to hear as a guest. Things got even stranger when we learned there was no chef in the kitchen. Instead, the general manager was back there trying to cook. It very clearly was not working. We ordered appetizers and waited about 45 minutes for what I believe was a seafood dip. When it finally arrived, it came out as a thin, runny soup. Not a dip. A soup. On top of that, it was so aggressively spicy it was nearly inedible. It honestly felt like no one back there had ever made the dish before. The food, flat out, gets a zero from me. If I could give it a negative score, I would. That said, the front-of-house staff deserves credit. They were polite, professional, and clearly trying to manage an impossible situation created by the kitchen. I felt for them, because they were the ones having to face guests while everything behind the scenes was falling apart. Again, this is based on a single experience, and I truly hope it was an off night that's been corrected. If not, I don't see how a place like this could survive. The staff definitely put the "social" into the B&B Social. I've been to the B&B on Sixes in Holly Springs, so I had confidence that the food would be good and wanted to give this place a try. I visited on a Thursday just before PM in mid-January and received a warm and friendly welcome. At this early our there were a few patrons about so there was no trouble getting a table. The darts, bowling, and arcade looked enticing but I was on a timeline and couldn't partake. They have a mix of 80's and later music that was very enjoyable and at just the right volume. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken. But unlike the typical serving of a flat piece of chicken these were two chicken breasts on top of chunky mashed potatoes made with peel on, and topped with a jalapeno bacon gravy. The textures and flavors were perfect and despite the visibility of jalapenos in the gravy, the heat was barely detectable. The side of green beans had a wonderful garlic seasoning and were perfectly cooked and had that nice crunch still in them. Multiple staff came by to chat and ensure everything was perfect and ensure my drink was always refilled, and even management came by to check my table. I met up with a few friends here. Definitely a good place to hang out at. They have a few games and 2 bowling lanes.. very interesting. Our waitress was super nice and attentive for them being really busy. The food came out hot and had some good flavors. I orders the bread pudding but wasn't really impressed with it, but I don't like chocolate sauce on it plus I felt it was missing something. Maybe like cinnamon or something. This location is in downtown canton so there is street parking around. Overall a decent experience. read more

We had such a great experience here tonight! We started with the mozzarella sticks which were phenomenal and handmade right down to the sauce. We followed it up with two different styles of flatbreads, both of which were some of the best we've had in any restaurant around this area AND they weren't burnt on the bottom like we're accustomed to. The waiter was SO attentive, the staff made sure we never ran out of drink, and the overall ambiance was just so much fun! We'll be back over and over again. read more

We went as a large group of 12 on a Friday night. We tried to call ahead earlier in the week and the lady on the phone wouldn't let us. We again called Friday just to give them a heads up we'd be coming at 7. We were sat a little separated (low top/ high top), but all together nonetheless! They were very crowded this night. The drinks were tasty as was the food! I tried to snap pictures of a couple of friends but everyone was digging in. It is a really cool spot and we plan to come again. read more

Just opened (08/30/24) in the Jones Building. A much needed social, and fun hangout. The B&B Social is an upbeat, high energy and cool vibe place. It's accessible from 3 different entrances. 2 street and parking lot. High tops and tables with a very nice size bar and all your favorites. With several activities to do such as roller ball bowling, darts, skee ball and some arcade games coupled with some well place TV's for sports makes this place a must try. A nice selection of appetizers and mains. Our table went with the servers recommendation and ordered the Mozzarella sticks. Just amazing! More like logs than sticks (lol) they came out hot with a very crunchy crust and nice hot melted cheese. And the basil marinara dipping sauce was fantastic. Somebody in the kitchen knows what they're doing. My Cali wrap was crazy good. the Grilled Flank Steak was so tender it melted in your mouth. And my side of Jicama Green Apple Slaw really had some pop and went well with the wrap. Excellent cocktails and service like they've been open for months not days. Environment/Entertainment: The ski ball, jet pong, and claw game were a hit with the group. Ski ball and jet pong were just a $1 per game so a few rematches were had! Drinks: The Gin Blossom, French 75, and Amaretto Stone Sour were delicious. Food: Their shrimp and grits was superb. The grain bowl, Cajun pasta, truffle shuffle flatbread, and their salmon special of the day were ordered and devoured. We didn't get dessert but regretted that choice as we headed out and saw a slice of carrot cake being delivered to another diner! Looking forward to coming back when I'm next in town. The food was delicious. We only had 3 appetizers but to our surprise all of them were on point. The service was a little on the slower side, especially considering how empty it was in side, but once our orders were placed, we got out food very quickly. My drink was sub par which is another reason they lost a star. Restaurant decor is mixed which makes it seem like it has no identity but a food wise, worth a visit. read more

B&B Social found in the Historical District of Canton on Main Street is a unique restaurant offering a full bar, a bowling alley, ski ball and other video games. If you prefer, you can grab a board game and bring it to your table. The entertainment and service is outstanding. We had the Diablo Shrimp as an appetizer and I could have ordered a second one. The crispness of the shrimp was great. The flavor was robust. I really enjoyed them! The flatbread was loaded with toppings. Truly delicious. My husband ordered a burger and onion rings. The burger was cooked to perfection and the onion rings were crisp. Our waiter Jay was so kind and attentive to our needs. Yes, it's DT Canton and it's convenient, but it's just OK *especially* given the price. The food is the same slightly more upscale bar food from the B & B "brand," but again, the pricing is askew for what you get. It's fine for a few drinks, but that's about it for us. read more

We called ahead of time to ask about making a reservation for a party of 4. We were told via phone that they don't take reservations for tables and bowling lanes unless you have a party of 10 or more. Lo and behold we finally sit down at our table for 4 after being on wait for 40 mins and put our name down on the "wait list" for the bowling lane. 2 hours into our dining experience, the short hair blonde hostess (whose name I did not catch) comes over and says "y'all were supposed to be next but another party came in with a reservation and I'm not sure how that happened". I asked her then "we called earlier about making a reservation for the bowling lane and y'all said we couldn't unless it was a party of 10 or more". She then put her hands around her cheeks like a cabbage patch doll and said "oh it's so confusing I'm not really sure how it works some can make reservations and some can't" HUH????? So she then asked if we want to wait an additional 45 minutes (in real time an hour) for the bowling lane. Well guess we have nothing better to do since we came here to bowl. Alas, we look over and the queen has arrived to her reserved lane - a whole party of 4! HOW? Did they know management? Did they pay under the table to skip the line? They don't have a party of 10 or more? Drinks were good. Servers were nice. Thumbs down for the hostesses and the odd (?) reservation system. Good thing the drinks kept me going or I would have called it a night after finishing dinner given the absurd answers given by your sweet hostess :) ! read more

Did some Christmas shopping at The Mill on Etowah, then came here for lunch. Great Choice! Service was perfect, both the host and the wait staff were friendly, conversational and fast. I had one of the best burgers I've had in a while and my wife had a Ruben sandwich along with onion rings. She loved it. It was so large she had to apologize when they came to clear the table, that as awesome as it was, she couldn't finish it. Lots of fun games for the kids as well. Lots of Tv's for sports action, bowling, skeeball, and more. We will comeback some evening just to watch the action. read more

We had the pleasure of having lunch at a new restaurant in Canton called B&B Social. It's a new sports bar/sandwich shop. I ordered the Philly cheese steak. It was the best that I've had since R&M (the original R&M) closed, there was no skimping on the meat. Glenn had a hamburger that was very good. The French fries were hot, crisp and freash. Next time I will try the salmon blt. Desserts were from Alpine Bakery and looked wonderful but we didn't try unfortunately due to generous portions we couldn't eat another bite. They also have bowling and other games. This is definitely a must try the next time you're in Canton. The service was excellent. The server offered honest opinions on wh at she liked. She was prompt in taking our orders, kept our drinks filled and so friendly. If you haven't been be sure to give it a try. You want be disappointed. read more

Had the mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. Good quantity of cheese sticks and they were very good. Good amount of chicken tenders but they were pretty bland. Needed some salt or other spices. I used the marinara sauce and some hot sauce to give them some flavor. Service ok but nothing special. Ambiance- don't go there expecting to have much of a conversation.
