I so wanted to love this location of Three Roses Tavern. The Marietta location set the tone and so I had high expectations. The decor is modern but not sterile. I love that they kept the photos of old Canton. It wasn't very busy and the hostess approached us quickly. It was a pretty underwhelming experience though: no welcome or smile like at the Marietta location. How do hosts/hostesses not understand they set the mood for the diners experience? We were sat in a booth in the back, near the bar. A SuperTri was playing on the tv which was fun to watch between conversations. My husband ordered the gyro sans onion and although the display was appealing, it was pretty basic. A Fried Green Tomato BLT is one of my favorite sandwiches. It was pretty but I couldn't find or taste any bacon. The tomatoes were chewy and stringy. One shouldn't have to work that hard to eat a tomato. Ugh. The fries, however, were delicious- not soggy served in a cute fry basket. Yum! Bobby, our server, was attentive, friendly, and very understanding. He's a keeper! We may try this again but for a fried green tomato BLT, I'll head to 61Main in Jasper. Perhaps when Three Roses Tavern's health score comes back up, I'll give it another go.

Feels like...a quiet and classy big city neighborhood diner. Nestle yourself into the comfy booths or welcoming tables for larger parties. Menu has just enough appealing offerings. Service is welcoming and well-paced. Big screen tvs allow game viewing from many angles. Start to finish, Three Roses is a winner!

Been here 5 times. Everything on the menu has been awesome. Possibly the best place and menu in Downtown Canton. Love the small bar and the menu is awesome. Service is always on point. Bougie sports bars works for me.

These beer prices seem inflated to me

Cozy rear bar area with a smaller bar in a lounge-like atmosphere with a HUGE TV on the back wall above a few sizable booths (and a few other smaller TVs to watch sports), but even more expensive than recently opened Downtown Canton restaurants. I'm sorry, but charging $7 for a 16 oz. Michelob Ultra is wild to me. If you pay those prices that's on you, but if so, expect to continue to pay similar inflated prices if/when new restaurants pop up.

    The grouper picatta idms DELICIOUS!!

Upscale sports bar! The vibe is cool but they mix it with a sports bar so that's kinda weird. I felt like I was on a cruise ship for some reason. The place is super cute and they have a downstairs. Nice Bar! I'm not a TV Lover when I eat out but if that's your thing, they have it! We were greeted right away but the hostess seemed confused by Who's section was next and come To find out she was our server! She seemed pretty new but when asked what their seasonal DARk beer was, she was able to answer it. That was a super plus for my husband. We decided to order a salad to split, and it came out with some weird pickle relish on it, which I didn't find I liked at all. They were nice enough to take it back and put that on the side and bring me a new salad. we also ended up splitting the burger with fries, which are very good. The burger is totally big enough to split. They were going to charge us a split charge, but since we ordered drinks salad and dessert, they didn't charge us for that. That could've been a negative for sure. I ended up getting a martini which was delicious and my husband enjoyed the dark seasonal beer. The burger was great. We even got the beignets for dessert which were quite tasty. We were surprised by how cute the place was (no more sandwich shop, love the decor) and we're glad that they're an addition to the downtown Canton area. We look forward to supporting local and returning to try more of their good options on their menu. The table service was SPOT ON, they filled your water and kept the table super clean! Pet peeve of mine to clear the dirty dishes and they were ON IT!!!!

It was cool enough that the fans did not need to be on and it was nice to not have a distraction of televisions that permeates the inside dining area. I was greeted right away. Our server, Delaney was awesome. She made great recommendations and I loved the new lunch dish that she recommended to me: the Thai Chili Crunch Bowl. The dish was amazing with steamed jasmine rice, chicken, green onions, and more. I loved it! My husband got the lunch 6 pc wing combo. The wings were fresh and a good size. The fries were hot and seasoned. The bathroom was dark but clean. When we were getting ready to leave, someone came out and wished us a good day. Outstanding service!

Service. Strips. Sauce…read more I've been to Sidelines before and I'm never really disappointed in what I get, but it's also pretty simple bar food. The Chicken Tenders were exactly what I wanted, but I'm pretty sure I've had the exact same ones from other sports bars. I think the Tyson chicken breast strips are good (and I'd continue to get them), but they aren't really something special. I'd prefer wings and things. The sauce I got them tossed in was really really good. I got the Buffalo-aki wing sauce flavor and additionally requested the Lemon-Pepper seasoning... yum! The sweet potato fries were great. I really liked the way they were cut, and they weren't too greasy at all (like some fries). They were, however, not really seasoned... but it didn't matter when I paired it with the sauce. Which, by the way, the Honey Mustard sauce was especially good. I don't usually see Fried Green Beans on a menu, so I was expecting something really good and to add a lighter veggie to my meal, but they weren't great. While they were really tender, the breading was very thick and greasy. They tasted good in the first few bites, but it was hard to get through after a while. Would not recommend. The service at this location is particularly excellent. I had multiple people check in on me to see if I had been helped already. I was wearing a shirt with a small emblem on it, and multiple people pointed it out and thanked me for my military service. And they were all very personable and kept up a fun smile. Sidelines would be a great place to choose for wing night, and they've got lots of fun side options. It's pretty average bar food at a pretty average price.

The space, the concept, the vibe all work. The bartender was excellent. Very professional, very kind, and clearly doing everything he could to hold the night together. I honestly felt bad for him. He was busting his ass nonstop and never seemed to catch a break. Unfortunately, the kitchen was an absolute disaster. From the start, four or five items on the menu were immediately unavailable. As the night went on, more and more dishes were 86'd. The message coming out of the kitchen was that they simply did not have the ingredients to cook what was on the menu, which is a pretty alarming thing to hear as a guest. Things got even stranger when we learned there was no chef in the kitchen. Instead, the general manager was back there trying to cook. It very clearly was not working. We ordered appetizers and waited about 45 minutes for what I believe was a seafood dip. When it finally arrived, it came out as a thin, runny soup. Not a dip. A soup. On top of that, it was so aggressively spicy it was nearly inedible. It honestly felt like no one back there had ever made the dish before. The food, flat out, gets a zero from me. If I could give it a negative score, I would. That said, the front-of-house staff deserves credit. They were polite, professional, and clearly trying to manage an impossible situation created by the kitchen. I felt for them, because they were the ones having to face guests while everything behind the scenes was falling apart. Again, this is based on a single experience, and I truly hope it was an off night that's been corrected. If not, I don't see how a place like this could survive. The concept is good, the people up front were good, but the kitchen that night was a complete failure. The entire 2 hour + experience was comp'd.

We ordered a grilled chicken wrap with coleslaw and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with tater tots. Everything was excellent. The standout for me was their homemade coleslaw. Might sound unremarkable, however, it was outstanding. They make it fresh there and shred their own carrots. Not sure if you have recently shredded your own versus buying them pre cut or shredded. It makes a massive difference in quality, texture and flavor. It was Not lost! Hands down the best coleslaw I have had outside of being at my mom's table! The grilled chicken wrap was also done perfectly. Just enough to keep it tender and moist (I know, that word makes people cringe. What other is there to describe it though!)! I reserved a table for five here for Mother's Day because we've had mostly good experiences here,…read morehaven't been in a little while, and they had both crab cake Benedict and bottomless mimosas on the prix fixe menu, two of my wife's favorite things. They were clearly understaffed, which was apparent from checking in with the hostess. The line of people waiting to check in with her caused the waiter taking desserts downstairs to have to wait up to five minutes with that tray. Once we were seated, we thought things might go better. Crab cake Benedict was the #1 choice for my wife and BIL, but the kids' menu didn't have the chicken and waffles the guy who called to confirm my reservation had mentioned. That was no problem because my kids have learned to find something to eat wherever we take them, and I ordered chicken and waffles to share with them because I love my kids and knew I would get enough food one way or another. The mimosa came in a wine glass because they had run out of flutes, which was fine by my wife, but she said they tasted heavier on the juice than on the prosecco. My waffles came out a bit burnt, but they replaced them with no problem when we pointed it out. My kids got fresh waffles, and I enjoyed the burnt ones. The chicken was one decent piece for a person, but split between my daughter and me was less than I had hoped for. Thankfully, the salad was a decent appetizer. When the crab cakes Benedict came, we were shocked to see a mess of scrambled eggs on a thin crab cake with an English muffin under. We always ask for hollandaise on the side because that sauce can go several different ways of bad, but in this instance we were genuinely confused how a benedict could come with anything other than poached eggs! The flavor was okay, but the texture and presentation left a lot to be desired. My wife only finished half of hers and didn't touch the limp fries. You can probably figure out how I made do with food in this instance. Our kids, meanwhile, devoured their food like we had starved them their whole lives, so on the plus side we didn't have to hear kids whining about food! Service was polite but very slow. I don't know that we'll be back. With the abundance of good restaurants in our area, it's going to be hard to justify returning here.
