The upstairs is better than the downstairs but I'm glad they have the downstairs for some occasion when they could get busy. As for the Tavern / entertainment element, I've never seen any live music but they have several TVs. The other seasonings in the slaw were excellent and unique and the addition of red onions was great, but sadly ruined by the saltiness. At the end of my meal I visited their modern and stylish restrooms. I'd arrived just after 5PM and on this weekday there were only a few patrons. So the stylish furnishing of the restroom were marred by the mess I encountered in there. Based on the number of employees compared to patrons, there wasn't an excuse for not cleaning that bathroom. On top of that, it was so aggressively spicy it was nearly inedible. It honestly felt like no one back there had ever made the dish before. The food, flat out, gets a zero from me. If I could give it a negative score, I would. That said, the front-of-house staff deserves credit.
