The teriyaki bowl and fried catfish

Kelsey was absolutely amazing, we got the best service and had an absolutely amazing time!!! She made our Biannual anniversary absolutely amazing. Food was perfect, vibes were amazing, and we will definitely be back. 10/10

I love this place. It feels like a different part of the country just driving a few short miles down Bells Ferry. This is not a BBQ restaurant like the other JDs down the road; this is primarily seafood. The food is really good, especially the bang bang shrimp, fried catfish fingers, and hushpuppies! The shrimp risotto is good, but I prefer other options over that. The service was great! Definitely don't sit on the back deck at sunset overlooking the water without considering the consequences: your blood pressure will drop, your stress will melt away, and your soul and stomach will be filled.

Drinks, views, & live music make for a great time after a day on the lake. Service is good even when busy.

Amazing and great drinks !!!! We were greeted by the owner JD with great hospitality and he even gave us a sample of his famous mudslide drink 10/10 ! Recommend 10000%

Such a hidden gem in Canton (15 minutes from Holly Springs)! A fun place for the entire family with a low-key atmosphere. The food is good -- fries were 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Peel & eat shrimp - 10 shrimp, $13.50 (plus the 3.5% surcharge.)

Cool spot with nice lake views. Our server was outstanding. This would be a regular hangout for us if we lived closer.

I came to review B&B and my review from 2023 was still pending...! Sheesh!…read more Uh, so yea, we have been a few times and heck if I know why we don't go more. But tonight? B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.

Waited 20 minutes after the time it was suppose to be ready with little assistance. All for them to forget the sauces, the chicken was soggy, and they completely forgot to season any of the chicken. I received it cold and void of any flavor. Wasn't able to choke it down and ended up throwing most of it away. This use to be a local fav, but they've been continuously going downhill.

The atmosphere has that rare "Cheers" vibe where everyone seems to know each other, but somehow they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. What really sets this place apart is the service. The staff genuinely cares about the customers, not in a forced corporate way, but in a real, personal way that you don't see very often anymore. You can tell there is a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. The food is just as impressive. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor, tasted homemade, and the portions were more than fair. It is the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about what you want to try next time. Add in the fun crowd, relaxed energy, and the feeling that you are part of the community while you are there, and this place becomes more than just a bar or restaurant. It feels like a local tradition. We will definitely be back, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great people, and a place that actually feels alive.

I've owned a restaurant in downtown Roswell I called this place out years ago for switching meat purveyors on the hanger steak and serving a lower grade meat. You know what happened? It got fixed. I came here years ago and had a subpar experience with a bartender who was too post counting her tips to serve me and my date on a Friday. You know what happened? They changed management. This place is what defines top tier. This place is what it means to deliver consistency in the name of public service. I had eaten here 237 times in a single year. I'm telling you: the menu is not driven by margin. It's driven by experience. I've eaten it all. You'll find a packed bar most nights because the regulars love this place. You'll discover bartenders remembering your drinks, servers remembering how you want your steak cooked, and hostesses knowing you prefer the bar. This is a 5 star experience with 3.5 star prices. It's elite in that regard, a date night spot or solo hangout that will never let you down. If Salt ever leaves Woodstock, may the bedrock beneath it burn.

I feel like the cook must've been on a break. We ordered them medium and they came out closer to rare. When I have come here in the past, I've gotten the Johnny Cash Burger; imagine the width of a Whopper but with a 10oz patty... yum! This time around, I got a plate of their jumbo wings! I got a mix of the Ya-Ya-BBQ and the Lemon-Yaki. The sauce on the wings was fantastic, but the wings themselves were a little too crispy for me. The tator tots, however, were extremely crispy in the best way! My friend enjoyed an item off the brunch menu... the City Slicker Breakfast Bowl. Now this was truly very tasty, but the price for a little breakfast bowl was a little surprising in my opinion. While the food was just average for a bar, the experience was special. The two ladies who served us were friendly and down-to-earth with that true "make yourself at home" southern hospitality. They checked in on us super frequently and ended up giving our table a whole pitcher of sweet tea for free refills (we drank the whole thing). They did a special night at this location where they played exceptional 80s Rock for hours on their stage. The live singers are always so good here... If you live near the Woodstock area and you happen to come by, I would absolutely try and time it to be here during a live music night. You won't regret this experience with some friends!

But this is a family place and a great option for the GF community. We will definitely be back! Just so you know...the chicken tenders, fried pickles and onion rings can be GF but are NOT dairy free. The fries and buns are GF and DF. MY only note we went on a Saturday and the bathroom floors were sticky and the booths needed a better wipe down.
