Tried a new item today, Lemon Ricotta pancakes. The three pancakes were huge with a generous amount of butter, blueberries, and syrup. They were so tasty you didn't need the syrup. The chicken biscuit was flavorful, the bacon added a delicious side note, and the biscuit with cheese complemented the breaded fried chicken breast. The omelet with mushrooms was so delicious and the side salad and grits perfect. Creamy and tasty. Pork belly hash with a side of eggs, perfect. Everything cooked as requested. Lest I forget to mention the deviled eggs are not only beautiful to look at but taste delicious Coffee was fresh, hot and no need to ask for a refill. Excellent service by Paulina. We had an excellent evening at Prime 120. The lemon drop martinis were good, tart and sweet, and a great start to the meal. The filet was cooked perfectly, and the broccolini was melt in your mouth good. The jalapeño mac and cheese is one menu item I would call a must have because it ended up being one of the standouts of the night. We finished with a crème brûlée and an espresso martini. We had a wonderful experience dining with friends this evening. Our waitress, Tiffany, was so personable, kind, and accommodating. She is a true foodie and is very honest with it comes to the menu and what to choose. Valet parking is a plus here and it is free and the valet works off of tips. We were seated appropriately and per our request. My only negative statement is that the white table cloth draped tables a very small. There is also ample outdoor seating. We started with the Pumpkin Soup and a delicious Prime Garden Salad. Everything was delicious ad the soup is spectacular. I had the ribeye for dinner--the wet-aged one. It was cooked well-done to my liking but we so, so tender. It was perfect. The Brussels were good but a little vinegary but still cooked nicely with a great crisp. I adored the mashed potatoes which were an excellent compliment to our meats. We didn't have dessert because frankly we didn't have the room. We had a special brunch here for my mother in laws 92nd birthday. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive and all our meals were prepared as requested. Our table had the deviled eggs and chili artichoke dip appetizer. Entrees were the lemon ricotta pancakes, smoked salmon avocado, wood fired eggs, farmers plate. Everyone raved about the food. They even gave my mother in law a small cake with a sparkler! I was very nervous about trying a place she had never been to but she was equally thrilled with the whole event. The drinks are top-notch (you must try the espresso martinis!) and everything is served with so much quality and love. Went as a party of 6 and here's everything we got: Shishito pepper and brussel sprout appetizers (amazing), Caesar salad (tad underdressed for me but still great), ribeyes (so tender and flavorful), mashed potatoes (creamy and flavorful), and ended with one of their vanilla birthday cakes with a raspberry cream (wasn't preferred for most of us). Overall, all the food was wonderful and flavorful! Service was a little lacking though. We didn't realize the gravel parking lot across the street was valet only since there was no sign and no one was standing at the cart so we had no way of knowing it was valet only. The man started honking a horn at us as we are pulling in but we had no idea what was going on. I think they should definitely have a sign at the front saying it's valet only as my husband and I got tricked by that and another couple in our party. Our waiter was very friendly and kind! It did feel as we were kind of forgotten though. Two of us needed to ask for our waters to be filled and he only came to check on us once during our main shortly after receiving them. He was approaching us much more when we still needed to order but seemed once that was done was no where to be found. However that's very minor. The steaks we had, the scallops and halibut were all so enjoyed etc. It was all prepared so well. Sides items were delightful but they were small in terms of the portion sizing. My wife and I went out for fancy dinner date night. We enjoyed ourselves at Prime 120, for sure. We also knew that it was going to be a pricy meal. Service was slow, but it was a Friday night, and it motivated us to converse face to face, so maybe that wasn't such a bad thing. The table we were seated at (mind you, we made reservations) was small. Thankfully we had a window ledge to place overflow items. Honestly, the side items (mushrooms, spinach, oysters) had a more developed flavor than the mains. My elk chop was served with a berry demi place, but the chop itself lacked seasoning (although, I will tip my cap to the chef for actually cooking it rare, as I ordered.) All in all, Prime is one of the best restaurants in downtown Woodstock, just be sure you're budgeting at least $100 per person, unless you want to fill your belly with bread & butter (also pretty tasty, so kudos on that.) I struggle to rate this restaurant. It's not that the food is not good. It is pretty good. The atmosphere gives a nice steakhouse vibe, but not stuffy at all. The fries are amazing. Huge portions too. The steaks, however, are where I feel like they are just okay. They lack flavor (seasoning) and seem to be a lower quality cut of steak. Looks great, but taste doesn't deliver. They're not bad at all, but for the prices and being a nice steakhouse, there are many better options. If you are in the area and are craving steak, by all means go! We're grandparents, so we've been to a LOT of restaurants and Prime 120 is, hands down, THE BEST RESTAURANT we have ever, ever had the JOY to dine in. EXQUISITE! We were there in November 2024 with another couple and start to finish our experience was absolutely perfect in every way. A valet greeted us at the door (and took good care of our new car!), the ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic... like a grand hotel of the south, impeccably clean and sparkling, with a comfortable layout and elegant appointments. Our hostess seated us immediately and gave us the BEST service and attention during our entire stay. Nothing was overlooked! Our water glasses were always full, all our questions on the various steaks were answered in friendly, knowledgeable detail and we wanted for nothing. Drinks to dessert, we felt like royalty! WOW! Dinner began with soup, salads, appetizers. We sat at the bar because Emma knew the bartender and we had great conversation and some fantastic food. We ordered truffle fries, pancakes (with real maple syrup), and wood-oven baked eggs. Needless to say there was ample food left over which came home as leftovers. Along with a great cup of coffee we also had mimosas. There is indoor and outdoor seating... Outdoor seating has umbrellas to keep the hottest of the sun off. The inside is very cozy, and the bar has quite a lot of seating. The staff was fantastic as we met quite a few that swung by to say "hi", and a couple of the chefs came out to let us know what was best on the brunch menu. Hostess was friendly and seated me immediately. Had the filet and cauliflower side. The cauliflower was legit excellent- perfectly cooked and a really unique flavor. The steak was cooked right, but not great quality - I'd bet it had been frozen (3/5) The service is where Prime 120 shines. From the hostess to my server (Faith) to the bussers, everyone was on point - friendly, knowledgeable, timely.... Server called me by name without an intro (passed on from the hostess). We went to Prime 120 last night for my mother-in-law's birthday. She had been before and really enjoyed it, but it was our first time. It is a really cute restaurant - nice but not uninviting. Our server was great! He was friendly and on top of everything. He even brought my mother-in-law a wonderful birthday dessert with a sparkler in it as the candle. That was fun! I ordered the June Bug cocktail, which was good. We shared a Caesar salad, which was big, and a side of Parmesan truffle fries as an appetizer, which was truly ginormous and could feed probably 6-10 people. I'm still in shock about the fries haha. We each got a filet, which were cooked perfectly as we asked for them. We shared the jalapeño mac & cheese and mashed potatoes for sides - which were both delicious. Entrees were really well executed. Whether it was the steaks we had, the scallops, etc. All cooked well and as described by Melissa. The sides were very good, but other than mashed potatoes, the sides were a little skimpy in terms of portions. Desserts... we were told that with an in-house pastry chef, they were wonderful... Well, desserts were the only real letdown of the evening. Even the coffee was great, but the desserts... wow, they just missed the mark. Chocolate cake and coconut too... Wow! Eating at Prime 120 was an absolutely incredible experience. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and very responsive to any requests. I went on a date with my boyfriend last night and absolutely loved the ambiance as well! They were playing lovely music, it wasn't too loud (granted it was a Thursday night) and the interior decor is beautiful. We ordered the chili artichoke dip and a caesar salad to start and wow! The chili artichoke dip was the right amount of spicy and the chips they served with it were delicious too. For our mains, my boyfriend ordered the steak frites and I got the French Onion Soup. The truffle fries he got with his steak were top notch -- literally so good! We also got a side of jalapeno mac and cheese and it was insane... top tier! Now for the French Onion Soup -- I consider myself to be a connoisseur of sorts because I ALWAYS order French Onion Soup when I see it on a menu. This was one of the best French Onion Soups I've ever had. The broth was so rich and delicious it was incredible! To finish up, we had the buttercream cake with raspberry inside and omg. My husband and I came here last year for our anniversary and it was impeccable, but we like to try new restaurants often so it took a full year before we returned, again for our anniversary. Although I don't mind driving into Atlanta for a good meal, both meals I've had at Prime 120 have been so good that I almost don't see the need to. This is a steakhouse, of course, but I don't really care for steak, and both time I've ordered a seafood dish and both times I thought it was one of the best I've ever had. This year the offering was halibut in "chowder broth" with fingerling potatoes and crispy leeks and it blew me away. My husband loves steak but seldom thinks steak he orders in a restaurant is as good as what we prepare at home (with our dry aging process, reverse sear and wood-burning oven), but he claimed both steaks here were better than anything he makes at home. This year he had the wagyu flatiron with a lobster tail addition. The veggie sides are also excellent, we ordered the broccolini, mushrooms, and delicata squash and I couldn't pick a favorite. We started the meal with the crispy artichokes and loved them, especially with the accompanying arugula and mustardy dressing. Drinks are good and there's also a fun selection of cocktails. We took sticky toffee pudding to go and it made for a great meal after I ate the leftover veggies for lunch the next day. My only comment is that the food definitely leans salty. Neither of us mind it, but if you are sensitive to salt, it would probably be perceived as too salty. Finally, the complimentary cake for our anniversary was the same both years, and not very good IMO. Cake is fine but the buttercream is too sweet, needs more salt, and it seemed to have absorbed savory flavors in the fridge or freezer where they store it, so I would recommend they store it in a separate area to prevent that. However, this is free and not something we paid for so I won't hold it against them in my rating, especially since everything else is excellent. My kids ate it at home and didn't complain, but next time I'd probably ask they not bring it out. read more

My server was very polite and cordial too. I enjoyed the petite filet mignon 6oz with horseradish cream sauce. The steak was delicious and the horseradish added a nice spicy kick. The jalapeño mac n cheese was creamy and delectable, although I could do with less bread crumb topping as it was heavily layered. We both got petit filets medium rare with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Asparagus was good, but the potatoes were very good, above average and better than say Ruths Chris. The filets were good, but below expectations. They were a bit overcooked and the meat quality not as good as I normally get at Ruths Chris, Flemings, or other steakhouses we visit. Again, not bad but not great. We topped off our meals with dessert, Chocolate cake which was rich, moist, chocolaty, and delightful.
