    The Painkiller was spot-on
    R. J. R.

The food and drinks were solid...the Nashville Hot Chicken sammie was awesome as were the beer-batter dipped onion rings and the Painkiller cocktail was spot-on. Our server, Morgan, was super attentive and couldn't have been sweeter. Such a chill little spot right on the lake!

Happy to have Sunset open and had a nice time relaxing on the patio. However, rethink any decision to order the $9 Chili appetizer. Chili came out in a cup and luke warm, no cheese and a cup of sour cream on top. Asked for crackers and none available, so I settled for salad croutons. After the first bite, it had the same taste and texture as an opened salty can of Hormel chili.... Really hope that wasn't the case. You may wanna tweak the recipe

Our expectations were low, it's a bar in the middle of no where, at a marina, with a great deck and awesome views. Surely they are counting on the view to keep people coming back, not the food. Well we were wrong! Blackened Mahi tacos were delicious and the beer was cold! Wait staff was friendly and attentive, great experience all around. Did I mention the great view. Word of warning, if you go at sunset you WILL be in the sun if you are on the deck. They have inside seating, but we never went inside, that isn't what this place is about. Enjoy, your welcome.

Amanda saved the day!! I have upped my rating here for the service and the food! The bathrooms still need much improvement though. This time I had the shrimp po boy and it was amazing! They also had live music which was cool! Looking forward to more summer trips there!

Whatta terrible experience! Food wasn't great, and owners were not kind with our requests. We will not be returning.

This is seriously one of the better burgers I've had. Nicely smashed double patties with savory, melty yellow American. The hand cut fries were also good. Could have been a little bit crispier but I devoured them. There is plenty of seating out on a concrete patio or in a grass field. Both with nice picnic tables to sit at. There is also cornhole set up outside. "Inside" there are a few picnic tables to sit at. It's cafeteria style so you walk up and place your order and wait for your name to be called. Food came out pretty quick. I cannot wait to get back and try more. Keep an eye out for an updated review. Follow me on Instagram! @danny_runsforbeer

Lots of fries (salty) & double smash burger if I recall. All "outdoor seating" so it's very rustic but we sat under the enclosure. The breeze helped keep away bugs but also blew away napkins! What are you gonna do? Grandson ate all his burger, which doesn't always happen at all places. The prices were fair but weren't quite as low as some reviews led us to expect. And we skipped ice cream for same reason. Curiously, a man with a large dog on leash kept coming & leaving for refills or something. No real issue but we did want to keep grandson close just not knowing the dog's nature. Give this spot a try.

I came to review B&B and my review from 2023 was still pending...! Sheesh!…read more Uh, so yea, we have been a few times and heck if I know why we don't go more. But tonight? B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.

It's Mother's Day so we tried to avoid breakfast places that seemed "celebratory" since the wait would be horrific and Einstein Bros. didn't disappoint on that count... I don't know if this is a new footprint for them; the ones I've been to were spacious and had plenty of dine-in space. It was far more like a Panera. But this location is basically like the "lobby" of a Panera, or a Panda Express. There's no warmth whatsoever, it's very clinical almost while also being a bakery. There's bar seating at the windows to the right of the door and then two two-person high-tops towards the back and a single-four person table (table-height) at the front. Here's the problem: the space is narrow. Too narrow for this. The line width is fine although a very sizable man did seem to think personal space is optional while I was ordering... And we'll get to the food, it was fine, you're here for the next part. When we got there, the window seats, four-top and forward high-top were occupied. So I got Husband's order and he sat down. We had been assessing seating availability but not its practicality... When I joined him, I realized we were truly boxed in by the line to order. The high-top in front had cleared up, so we moved to that one. Same problem, just further down the wall. People in line have their backs touching the table, which is roughly wide enough for a laptop, so that's a cramped little breakfast. Somehow, the four-top was then vacant and I said we could sit on the inside spots to avoid further close encounters. As a two-person party, I hated doing that, it shouldn't come to that...! "Take it to go next time!" you exclaim. I hear ya. And that is a further problem. There is a tremendous bottleneck in one spot because pick up orders, the coffee station, dine-in pick up, line entry and people now standing who planned to dine-in have nowhere else to go or they lack direction on where designers intended for them to go. It was a little chaotic, including a family or group with maybe 10 people and they ordered right before us, so I was relieved that our orders came up before theirs. It shows they're working on multiple orders at once and a workday morning stop wouldn't (necessarily) be upended by someone with a list from the office. Speaking of the office, let's circle back to that nova lox before heading offline! Husband and I both got nova lox and I ordered their Bros. Bay Breeze refresher and the one that's OJ, lemonade and passion fruit. The Bay Breeze was so good, I'm angry that I would have to go down to 92 just to have it. The other was good but far more like sassy orange juice. It would be dynamite with prosecco! I'm about to say something that will initially freak some people out, but the true sweet-&-salty people should understand. I got my nova lox with onion & chive cream cheese on a maple french toast bagel which is not unlike the Panera cinnamon crunch bagel at all. One of the tomatoes was sliced okay but the other had an asymmetrical cut reminiscent of a Wendy's tomato. Husband had a garlic bagel, OCCC and no tomato. We both agreed the bagels were fine. We usually stick to SoHo but being Mother's Day, I expected a crowd. In retrospect, their old coffee selection is gone and there were zero sides that I saw; no potato salad, no chips. It is so pared down, it's a real bummer.
