I came to review B&B and my review from 2023 was still pending...! Sheesh! Uh, so yea, we have been a few times and heck if I know why we don't go more. But tonight? B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. Made reservations for Mothers Day over the phone and got a confirmation call to confirm them. Both times no one mentioned that you had to do a buffet on Mother's Day. We sat down and menus were placed on our table. We all figured out what we were ordering and waitress said we couldn't order anything off menu. Buffet was not the best. Tried to order 3 chicken finger plates for pickup. Lady on the phone was rude. Took forever for anybody to even ask what I needed. Waited 20 minutes after the time it was suppose to be ready with little assistance. All for them to forget the sauces, the chicken was soggy, and they completely forgot to season any of the chicken. Solid experience on a weeknight. The place was hopping however the service was on point and not one employee seemed flustered in the slightest. We had burgers and the fried brussel sprouts, all came quickly and were hot. There's a gf bun option that I was happy to take advantage of to get the double stack in my mouth. The burgers were spot on and I will gladly go back to devour another, however I will likely pass on the sprouts. the flavor profile was a tad boring, but the main issue was that the stems weren't cut off so you either needed to trim or spit out the bottoms - rookie mistake. We had a really friendly server (young blonde w longer hair) & the cocktails were some of the best we've had recently! My carne asada salad w homemade ranch dressing was SO tasty & my friend's mac n cheese that actually had a lil seasoning mixed in w the white cheese was DELISH!! She wasn't much for her chicken sandwich - maybe have an alternate sauce when someone didn't want spicy as it had no flavor without the sauce it comes w but then too spicy when you try using some to add the flavor. First off I want to say that Abby and Pat are hands down the best in the food service industry. My fiancé and I went to B&B with the intent on trying a few cocktails to determine our signature drinks at our wedding. We ordered two rounds and Abby, the kitchen manager, suggested the Black Eye Mule, I tried it and knew immediately that was the one. Drinks and service aside, the food was amazing. I love when I give a place another chance and it completely changes my mind!! I returned to B&B tonight in hopes that the service is better and the food was just as good if not better, and I was blown away. We had the best waiter, Aidan (Aiden?), that was very attentive and polite. We tried a few new dishes for us. We started with the fried Brussel sprouts. YUM! We devoured this. I ordered the meatloaf patty melt sandwich and the pimento bacon Mac n cheese. That sandwich. WAY surpassed my expectations and even though I live about 30 minutes away, I will be returning just for that. As a Mac n cheese connoisseur I also really enjoyed that dish. I love a creamy Mac and it was exactly that! We also got the key lime pie bars and we loved those too. Overall, GREAT second experience at B&B. Great food and service. We visited the B&B at Sixes at least 3 times a month. Cheese sticks are REALLY good.

THIS WAS A TAKEOUT EXPERIENCE We have eaten here through the years from original owners to now. We have had ok experiences in the past but never been wowed except by the originals. This meal was disappointing and not just bc it was takeout. chicken tenders and fries: the chicken was shriveled and black. Really really gross and tasted horrible Jumbo pretzel: never bad. Always worth it Fried Brussels: new recipe as of this week. It's a very sharp, vinegar flavor now. I am not a fan of this new recipe. They need less vinegar and maybe some honey and some heat. The cook on the Brussels was very good, just the seasoning was off carne salad: salad was much smaller than a $19 salad should be. I honestly thought we were given a side salad We keep giving just one more chance and walking away disappointed. We were excited to eat here however for a vegetarian, you'll be surprised with your substitution and not happily. Our mushroom burger subbed with a veg patty came without cheese and dismal mushrooms. It was a sad and very disappointing experience, one that was not corrected by the staff, though they were apologetic to a degree. Yes they did add cheese but said sorry, the kitchen says you get half the burger you will be paying for. Fries were okay. We wouldn't eat here again. Their quality assurance was lacking. This place is truly amazing and has that trendy, big city sort of set up, yet approachable. So great to have access to such a great place without having to be downtown. High quality food and craft drinks all around. Our server Chloe was on point too with friendly and well timed service. Live music on the patio, which had a really great set up. This place seems to have a lot of flexibility with having a nicer dining set up than just a neighborhood bar, as well as a more sport bar and patio area, but it all fits together nicely. Update - 03/26/22. It's been about a year since I've been here so I thought a quick update was in order. Another 5 Star experience from the servers to the food and cocktails. Everything was amazing. The appetizers, Diablo Shrimp was delicious and disappeared in minutes! And the bacon onion dip on the soft crunchy bread melted in you mouth. I tried the new menu item called the Cali wrap and it was fabulous. The Ruben and big chef salad were top notch. And the Grouper Tacos were the best anywhere. I love this place! You can sit in a cute restaurant area or in a live-music, hopping bar area. Or, you can sit in the large patio area with strung lights and lawn games. I kinda want the hat too - for sale front of house. The place has a sort of warm, industrial-farmhouse feel. I want to try everything but, so far, can tell you the goat cheese flatbread is tasty - crunchy and sweet. The house-made meatloaf patty melt is insanely good and truly unique. I had a nice cider too. The service was attentive without being obnoxious. We'll definitely be back, especially when the warmer temps allow a fun outdoor experience with some other couples. read more

UPDATE: So I'll leave my original review of our experience here for people's reference, but I appreciate the owner's reply and it seems we did get the cocktails we ordered. It does feel a little odd to me to serve a take on a Manhattan that looks and tastes so much like an old fashioned, and I do believe this is a change from previous visits. But it's their prerogative to do signature cocktails their way! If you're a Manhattan lover like us and want the classic, just be specific when you order. We've been here quite a few times - it's one of our go-to places when we're visiting with my parents in the area. The food here is consistently pretty good. The service can be hit or miss. Tonight, we had a discombobulating experience that seemed worth sharing. A Tale Of Two Cocktails: The Manhattan Gaslight Project My husband and I are always happy to order the B&B Manhattan when we come here - we love that they make it with Piggyback Rye, and it's pretty much always a solid Manhattan. I will add here that we are pretty avid cocktail hobbyists and also own a shop in town focused heavily on cocktail ephemera, mixers, etc. In short, we like a good cocktail and we know our way around the bar. Tonight we ordered two manhattans as usual. After quite a long wait, a server finally arrived at our table with two drinks - which looked exactly like a classic.....old fashioned. Served in a rocks glass over a nice single cube, exactly the color and consistency you'd expect from a textbook old fashioned, served with an orange peel and cherry garnish. We tasted to be sure (and because we had waited so long already and wanted to enjoy a drink, even if it was the wrong one), and it tasted like a nice old fashioned should taste. Okay, no big deal - they gave us the wrong cocktail. We'll let them know next time our server comes back. That took awhile, but when she did come back, we ordered our food and pointed out the error in the drinks. She apologized and said she'd get it taken care of. Great! This is when things get weird. Another girl comes to the table (bartender? manager? we don't know) and asks what the issue was. We told her no big deal, we just got old fashioneds instead of the manhattans we ordered, and if we could just get a couple of manhattans to replace that would be great. She then tells us that she knows maybe it's confusing, but these drinks are, in fact, manhattans and that even the younger staff sometimes get confused between the two drinks. Um, okay. But we're not confused. We're quite clear on the difference between a Manhattan and old fashioned. The diatribe continues and to try to salvage this novel of a review, I'll summarize as best I can: - Girl asks why we think it's an old fashioned and not a Manhattan - We say just because of the taste, the glass, the ice cube, and the garnishes (so, pretty much everything) -She says oh, we don't have any fancy martini glasses but it's still a Manhattan. And oh yeah we make ours with orange peel. I made these with all the liqueurs listed on the menu. It's a Manhattan. - We say um, okay. - She says what would make it more like the Manhattan you're looking for? (Which granted, is good that she's trying to get to what we want) - We say bourbon, sweet vermouth and some bitters, served neat. (So, you know, a Manhattan) - She says oh okay, let me see what I can come up with - brb - She brings us what we're pretty sure is a glass of bourbon with some bitters in it, over ice in a rocks glass again (NOT neat as requested), and with sweet vermouth on the side. Wtf?? This time the orange peel was there but the cherry was gone. So.....really, even less like a Manhattan than before. At this point we feel we're completely in the twilight zone and we know we're not getting any manhattans tonight, so we just drank whatever it was we had at this point and let it go. There were so many things wrong with this interaction. This girl was sweet to us, but she was pretty condescending and we're also pretty sure she didn't make any of these drinks herself as she claimed. Whether she did or not, why is it that no one on staff seems to know how to make one of the simplest drinks in the world - AND one that's been on their menu for years? The icing on the cake was when, a few minutes after we accepted our fate and tucked into our mystery cocktails, the next table over from us received a beautiful looking dirty martini - in a lovely, "fancy martini glass" which supposedly was not available for our manhattans. Lastly (as if anyone is actually reading this anymore) I want to mention that this wasn't the only issue with our experience tonight. The service overall was friendly, but incredibly slow, and some items were incorrect on our check. But the cocktail gaslighting was really the nail in the coffin here this evening. Moral of the story: just don't mess with a woman's Manhattan. The End. read more

We go to B&B Tavern quite a bit, the food is so good. I don't have a favorite because I truly like everything. The burgers are really good. The ambiance is very nice for a date night or with a group. There are tv's for sports fans, a very nice bar and the staff has always been pleasant and very efficient. One of our favorite restaurants in Canton. read more

This time I ordered all of the other items I mentioned... the meatloaf melt was great. Just like a patty melt, but with meatloaf. The meatloaf was cooked great, however, it lacked seasoning. I was expecting a more well seasoned sandwich since obviously meatloaf isn't the best 'cut' however it lacked that. I still enjoyed it nevertheless, mostly because of never having a meatloaf patty melt. The green beans were awesome. Id definitely recommend. They were garlicky, cooked, and seasoned well. The Caesar salad was above average. Nice fresh cuts of lettuce, and great and 'lighter' Caesar dressing. No frills. & the onion rings were great!! Not the biggest onion ring fan but they were good. There was no option for the menu options that we were craving. $35 a head for salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, not sure if that was grits or oatmeal, waffles, muffins, croissants, chicken fingers, potatoes, and some prime rib that couldn't be cut. Mediocre! The bigger disappointment was the service. Being a buffet only, why did I have to ask for utensils, salt and pepper, please turn the fan on, and my water glass was never refilled? Oh! We had a great dinner experience here with 3 of us. We all ordered something different: a burger, grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich, fries, and wings. All of us were very pleased by our meals and the amount of friendly and attentive service received. The pricing was a little higher than expected for a tavern/bar, but the food was tasty so that helps justify the pricing a little better. Definitely will be back to try more off the menu. The inside has great vibes with nice tables, booth, the bar, and TVs. Outside has been expanded to have an awesome area as well. Driving up to the mountains from Orlando and found this gem It had a trendy tavern decor with half dining, half sports bar dining and a nice bar in between. We were met by Olivia that promptly sat us and also was our server. Started with a bowl of chili. A nice portion served with tortilla chips. It was spicy and tasty. Not as thick as I like but it is a preference. Chips were good. Pretzel was good; nothing special but good Delicious meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes and crisp asparagus. Yummy fried chicken with mashed potatoes and crisp, fresh green beans. Both of these meals were very good! Cajun pasta had a kick filled with chicken, sausage (excluded shrimp). Tasty. Stopped in for lunch and was impressed with the menu and staff. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak for lunch and found it to be very good especially considering we're very far from Philadelphia. The meat was sliced proper and the roll was better than many I've had. Too often the rolls are really dry which is just a killer for a cheesesteak. The staff was really attentive, and very friendly. They didn't mind taking a minute to chat with you which makes a visit so much more pleasant and memorable. The bar and dining area had a nice feel with dark wood furnishings but plenty of natural light so it didn't feel dank or dungeonous. I would recommend and will visit again. read more
