AG Steak House in Acworth, GA, offers a delightful dining experience for steak lovers and seafood lovers alike and is perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The has a ton of steak options from ribeye, filet mignon, wagyu, and steak flights. The seafood options are spectacular and even have a full sushi bar. Service at AG Steak House is a pleasant dining experience.

Everything here was wonderful & delicious! The interior & exterior are beautifully decorated, perfect setting for date nights and special occasions. Their cheesy bread they bring out is great & complimentary! We tried steak, sushi and the sea bass. The sea bass is AMAZING! Please get it if you like sea bass! They offer a large sushi selection as well & all the rolls/sashimis were yummy! Steaks were cooked perfect with sauces made to pair with them and they have Damascus steel knives for the steaks which was impressive. We ordered cheesecake for dessert, creamy! Our server was amazing, he knew everything & was quick. I can't wait to go back!

What an amazing little hidden gem! We were beyond impressed with both the décor and the food. The service was spectacular--our server took the time to guide us through the different menus (Brunch, Sushi, and Dinner), which we really appreciated. It's not often you find a high-end steakhouse that also serves incredible sushi, but they absolutely nailed both. We're so glad we decided to stop in and give it a try. And to top it all off, the lakefront dining makes the whole experience even better!

WOW, where do I start? This location has complimentary valet which was quick and easy. The ambiance was absolutely stunning with white flower trees, a mini Aquarium (with a little crab and puffer fish), beautiful seasonal decor a heart for Valentine's Day and many other subtle touches. The hostess' were absolutely amazing kind and quick to seat us with a reservation. Quick greeting by our server Terry, he was kind attentive, overall everything you want in a server, one whom guesses your next request. We met both managers whom were professionally dressed, kind, welcoming, and extremely in tune with the restaurant. Honestly, I have never seen such a cohesive team of staff and managers work so quickly. Almost as if the restaurant is alive and breathing with the staff ensuring every table is monitored and satisfied. Glass was never empty, plates never sat on the table long. NOW, let's talk about the food! For starters, the complimentary bread is delicious. The French onion soup -- honestly top 2 best French onion soups I ever had. The cheese was perfectly charred, broth was extremely flavorful, crouton/bread was perfect and attached to the cheese for ease of eating. Next, was our entrees I ordered the pettite Filet, mashed potatoes, and sautéed spinach. The filet was cooked perfectly with a unique flavor I have never personally tasted - paired with an Aju which was phenomenal. The mashed potatoes were served perfectly and tasted perfectly. Sautéed spinach was perfectly cooked - not too much - not too little, was extremely light with a slight taste of garlic and a welcoming flavor. My husband ordered the lobster pasta which he absolutely loved. It included scallops, shrimp and lobster. The cream sauce pasta was perfectly seasoned with the perfect flavor and thickness. Lastly, we ordered the crème brûlée which I would say is up to par with the best of steakhouses. Our experience eating the best steakhouses Ruth Chris, Bones, capital grill and many more! We will be back - and may make this our GO TO for family birthdays.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor; the food was cooked to perfection. Our server, julia was so attentive and made excellent food recommendations. The cozy, candlelit ambiance was perfect for our travels, Jonathan the manager was very attentive and friendly can't wait to return!".

AG Steakhouse is one of my favorite places to eat. The quality of their food is superb. It's a bit pricey for Acworth, but the staff and the ambiance make it totally worth it! I can drive 10 minutes, sit on the lake, watch the sunset, while having quality food and drinks (unlike the other restaurants on the lake who serve mostly fried everything)... or when it's warm enough, I can drive my boat over and part at the dock while eating. It's a win/win for me. The owners are fabulous, the manager is awesome, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous!

Absolute excellence. This is a beautiful restaurant that overlooks Lake Allatoona. It's all windows inside and out. You feel like you're outside even when you're inside. Everything we ate was extremely well done. We started with a sushi roll. My compliments to the chef. We ordered scallops and almond crusted trout with a twice baked potato. Even the buttery tasting rolls and cornbread were delicious. They are served with butter and honey. What a great combination! It's a real treat. It is hard to find a restaurant like this with such high quality.

    Small seafood tower

We went for my son in laws birthday and after some of the reviews very pleased with what we experienced. We brought the kids so a 11 month And a 4 yr old. They put us at a table in back which was great. Our server was excellent. Gave recommendations and didn't hurry us up. I saw The $25 corkage but they don't show wine list online so didn't know what they had, played it safe. Surprised To see an amazing wine selection, which included what I brought is very limited distribution which is why I brought it and surprised to see it (DK Convene). Now to food: son in law And wife ordered a small seafood tower and raved about the selections, size and according to them, a great price. I don't eat seafood. I had the wet Aged strip, cooked perfectly. Others had the ribeye, 8 oz filet and Steak au poivre. All said they were cooked perfectly. Sides were risotto , mashed potatoes, and broccolini. The last didn't match the first two but good. Dessert was the bread pudding and Creme Brule' for the birthday boy(comped). All positive reactions. As I mentioned initially, some of the reviews had Us skeptical, but what you get is an upscale dining experience, great service and good food. Yes, it's pricey, but you'd have to drive 30-40 miles for this type of place. I dropped over $125pp, but glad to do it. Well worth it. They don't advertise it On their website, but Wednesday is 8oz filet and A side for $39 and half price wine. Thursday 12oz prime rib and side $39. Why they don't advertise these amazes Me. Watch their social media, maybe it's out there. Would recommend giving it a try for a special dinner.

The ambiance is very classy--warm lighting, upscale decor, and a layout that invites you to relax and stay a while. They've got a great front porch setup for enjoying a smoke outdoors, plus a comfortable seating area inside and a well-designed bar that feels both elegant and approachable. I chose a Casa Fuente cigar, expertly recommended by Chris, the resident cigar sommelier. He knows the humidor inside and out. Paired it with a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, crafted by Bezi, who was not only skilled but super friendly and welcoming. Talked sports with some locals--Tampa Bay teams, cigars, and whiskey. The crowd was relaxed and conversational, which made the experience even better. But the standout? The steak. I ordered the ribeye after my cigar, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served with crisp broccolini and parmesan-dusted house chips. Honestly, this meal would rival a dedicated steakhouse. Highlights: Elegant front porch for outdoor smoking Classy, cozy lounge and bar interior Outstanding cigar and drink selection Staff who truly know their craft (shoutout to Chris & Bezi) Full dinner menu--do not skip the ribeye Clean, well-ventilated, and welcoming If you're in the Kennesaw area and enjoy cigars, bourbon, and great conversation in a high-end setting--this is your spot.

The atmosphere was upbeat, and I liked the wooden beams and old feel. The first 2 things we wanted to order they didn't have. We ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, I ordered smothered chicken and my husband ordered the ribeye - medium. Our shrimp cocktail never came and when the waitress brought our meals we told her to just cancel the appetizer (since it didn't come anyway). No apologies , not a blink of an eye, just said okay and walked away. His steak was well done not medium, and dry to boot. When she finally came to check on us, he politely told her that she could take it back as it was not what he ordered, again no apologies. Of course when she brought our check which they did comp for a large percentage of the steak, she then apologized for his meal, I feel at that time because she was trying to save her chance of a good tip. To me food is half of the food experience , service is the other half. They dropped the ball on both counts today. Oh and the front door constantly was left open when customers came or went and due to that we had 2 flys that bothered it the whole meal.

Definitely set up for a god time. The service is excellent. Our server, Abbie, was a gem. Super friendly and prompt. She did an incredible job upselling us as well. Lol. We went in on a Monday evening and learned they do $5 house margaritas on Mondays. Something I can absolutely get down with! The margarita was solid, especially for the price. For an addition $3 you can add an extra shot which I did and it made it all the better, still at a great price at $8. Chips and salsa came out literally as we were sat. Extremely quick. The chips were fresh, hot, and crispy. They had a nice light salting on them. The salsa tasted fresh and was garnish with fresh cilantro which gave it a nice pop. The salsa itself was a little bland, however. Definitely not spicy at all which is fine but I would have preferred a little more spice. I ordered the Quesadilla Birra. It was plated beautifully with a side of consommé. Overall they were just okay. The meat was nicely cooked, tender but it was just bland. Consommé was the same, bland. I likely wouldn't order this dish again. My partner did the shrimp fajitas and they were fantastic. The shrimp were nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sautéed onions and peppers were also cooked perfectly. I will absolutely be back. I would like to give more of the menu a chance and the daily specials are hard to beat.
