Came here on a Friday night with a friend to get a crafted cocktail and this place did not disappoint. It is located in a plaza so there is plenty of free parking. There was live music with a singer and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The establishment was nicely decorated and was giving speakeasy vibes. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and fries. The wings were smoked and really good. My friend had the shrimp platter and had no complaints. We sat at the bar and ordered the French kiss and lemon drop cocktails. They were made to perfection and the presentation was very nice. Definitely plan to return. read more

If you like pomposity, "do you have a reservation" kind of place by all means go here and pay inflated prices on the smallest humidor of any lounge I've been to. I've smoked all over the US, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Europe. 2 people and you can't move. The door is locked, so cigars aren't stollen. We'll get better clientele. Did not have any cigars worth buying, maybe the Aroma de Cuba. But I can get better prices at other shops. People dressed nice, think sports coats and slacks. Bar guy probably knew his business. But I left. Will not come back. 2 stars because the attendant was very nice. And was not pushy. read more

That said, the only reason I will seldomly, if at all, go back is because it's a short drive from where I live. The high pressure sales by the wait staff to continue buying drinks, or shop the humidor, interrupts what would be a good experience. It's annoying. Not to mention, the drink pours are very light for what they charge, seems like 1 ounce shots. Upon trying to find good food selection in this area, this seemed to be the best place to. I wasn't fond of the cigars but I was told that the time I was arriving, would not be busy at all and there is a room off to the side where my work meeting could take place. I arrive and this place is tiny. It's very nice but tiny so I ask for the private room and it ends up not being private at all. Lounge bucket style seats and not fit for a work meeting and eating with a group of people. We already have a cigar smoker doing his thing, no complaints of course but the guy who helped on the phone should never make these type of promises that were ridiculous. Anyways, we grabbed the only high top available and made it work. Overall this place is fantastic for a mid day lounge break with friends and most certainly the spot to go to in the evening with live music. The server was really helpful the entire time and checked on us a lot. Actually everyone ended up checking on us. The food was great. I had the Cuban sandwich and this was definitely the best I've ever had. The outside was crispy from it being pan fried. So so good! The coffee and milk was on the strong side but no biggie. Let me say the ambiance and vibe is spot on. We sat outside but I would've loved to sit inside except I have a work event later and didn't want to smell like smoke. We sat on the patio which still was very nice and inviting. We weren't very impressed with the service. Not sure if it's where we were sitting or what, but our server was gone for at least 10 minutes before we placed our order which was disappointing (read:we didn't eat breakfast so we were hangry). She mentioned she'd give us some to look at the menu as we weren't 100% ready, but we didn't expect her to be gone for 10 minutes. Our food took about 25 minutes to come out and no one came to say anything to us at all during that time. There was a table nearby and we noticed our server and restaurant management stopped to chat with them frequently. My husband mentioned that even if a manager or our server would've came to simply say "hey your food will be out soon," that would've helped. The food was really great! We enjoyed everything we ordered. I was expecting to spend at least $100+ as my husband was going to get a cigar and a drink. Unfortunately by the time the food came, we were just ready to go. Why 4 stars? Because I called and spoke to the GM afterwards and she was extremely understanding. And, although it didn't meet our expectations, I think this was an isolated event and that they probably are a very great place. We went on a Friday night and sat on the patio because, ya know, it's a pandemic. The patio is well heated with a fire pit and heaters. The fire pit, although small, was really toasty. We were warm even on a cold night. I will say that inside it was packed even during Covid. I wouldn't have been comfortable sitting inside. They even had live music to attract a crowd. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The whole vibe is cool. The only weird thing is this place is in a shopping center that doesn't match its vibe. Oh well. The only real negative I can say is the drinks here are weak. They are tasty but not at all strong. I had 4 drinks and still felt comfortable driving home. We have lived in the area for 3 years and for some reason our first time going to The Cigar Cellar was on a recent Thursday evening. This unsuspecting gem is located off of Cobb Parkway in a shopping center containing the Good Will. When we first walked in we were greeted by an amicable staff. We did not have reservations but fortunately they had tables available, we opted to sit at the inside bar. They have a small patio and on nice days the outside bar and patio are uncovered. The ambiance was intimate and classy. Neither myself nor my husband smoke cigars but everyone else seemed to be satisfied smoking their Cigar of choice. The drinks were excellent, I had the Midnight in Paris, which was a well crafted gin drink My husband had the Cellar Signature Smoked Old Fashioned, it was one of if not the best presentation of a smoked Old Fashioned I've ever seen. There was live music that went well with the ambiance. Our very friendly bartender explained that the Chef's fish menu changes weekly and this particular night the featured item was the Watermelon Sashimi. We both ordered the featured item which was surprisingly tasty and tasted nothing like watermelon. We shared the calamari appetizer, it was prepared well, crispy and had a pleasant flavor. The menu is a Tapas menu so plates were small. As an entrée my husband had the jerk chicken, it was spicy and flavorful. I had the Louisiana BBQ Shrimp, which was ok, I'm not a fan of gulf shrimp but the flavors were all on point. Overall we had an awesome experience at The Cigar Cellar. The customer service here is outstanding, the entire staff is friendly and helpful. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I just left and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It's the perfect size and also includes outdoor seating and bar. The ambiance is amazing! There was live music as well. The service was probably some of the best service I've ever received. All of the staff was incredibly nice, knowledgeable and attentive. Our drinks were always full and we were always taken care of. Bezi was our server and she was so incredibly kind and informative! She even threw in a complementary dessert since it was our first time there. My husband also purchased a couple of cigars for us and Mike the cigar sever/attendant was very knowledgeable about all of the cigars and had suggestions for a newbie like myself. Inconsistencies with the bill, felt like rules were imposed on my group at random. First the were a 'no hats,' rule that was enacted. Then it was only past a certain time even though other patrons were clearly wearing their hat with no issues right up at the bar. We came a few times before with minimal issues but this last time they charged a 'cutting fee,' though we spent a pretty penny on everything else. This wouldn't have been an issue had they told us that the first time, and actually cut our cigars. After a long day of work, the goal is to find a nice establishment to relax in. Sadly, with the high hopes I had for this place, my group and I were let down. I just hope it wasn't because more of us were minorities in the group. read more

This place is so amazing. The ambiance is perfect. It's quaint and super laid back. There are leather chairs for comfort and round tables for your cigars and drinks. The staff is always super friendly. Hanna normally greets you at the door and she is the best! She is super accomodating even if there is little room available. On our last visit we had Amelia as a server and she was extremely friendly and also very accommodating. They sell cigars if you don't have your own and the drinks are really good. There's also a live band on certain days. I'd check the website for updates. There's more than enough parking so that's not an issue. Also there is a covered patio if you'd like to sit outside. We decide to try the Cigar Cellar for dinner on Saturday night. We made the decision because both of us had read great reviews about the food. We also wanted to check it out because my brother is a cigar aficionado. My wife was apprehensive about smelling cigar smoke. They told us they have a superior ventilation system and we decided to try it. Long story short, you can smell a hint of the cigars but the ventilation system works well and we didn't notice the cigar odor after about 5 minutes in the lounge. Our server was awesome. She was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was attentive when my water glass ran low and her descriptions of the menu and adult beverages. The food was as good as the reviews we read. My wife had the CellarCuban sandwich and I had the Bison short rib & herb Gnocci. We shared the Truffle fries. Everything was served hot and was full of flavor. The only complaint I have is that the fries could have used more truffle oil for that rich and delectable truffle oil taste. I won a free cigar by knowing the answer to a musical trivia contest. The owners were very generous with the prizes they offered as a result of knowing the name of a musical artist from the 70's. Thank you! I didn't even get to go in this place because I was harassed by the staff across the parking lot from the staff after stopping by from caffine and octane car show. We were ushered off the premises from how I felt of discrimination. A gentlemen holding a cigar approached me asking about alcohol and I told him I'd share my personal consumption alcohol with him. Then he told me I was stealing the company's business. After being polite and respectful to the cigar holding staff I was bullied off the other ode of the parking lot. Maybe it's because I didnt have a Lamborghini or McLaren... either way. I wouldn't recommend this place as the man describing himself as the manager was extremely impolite and obnoxious. I'm curious of the reason of insecurities of this establishment from the other side of the parking lot... literally next to the highway. If some men with a trailer and speakers take away from your business or money... perhaps you ar lacking in delivering a desirable experience for your customers and you made me feel that you are self conscious on that. read more

To start, I lived in Europe for ten years and have yet to experience an ambiance as divine as The Cigar Cellars... We walked in and were quickly greeted by warm faces. Their exquisite selection of entertainment that night included The Burbon Brothers. The music was terrific, and the food was spectacular, bringing back childhood memories of living in Europe. However, the most beautiful part of the evening was when my Fiance got down on one knee and proposed to me. From the hostesses to the bartenders and servers, everyone made us feel so special and loved. It is hard to find a unique restaurant in Atlanta, and we are happy that we got to spend our special night at THE best place in Georgia. This is a story to share with our future children and grandchildren for years to come. Every trip we take to Las Vegas, we always end up spending most of our evenings at the Montecristo Cigar Bar at Caesars' Palace. It's an excellent place that always leaves us saying, " if only we could take this place and bring it back home with us, we'd be content." Well, now, we no longer need to say this. Because of Montecristo and our countless experiences there, all being wonderful of course, we had exceptionally high expectations for The Cigar Cellar, yet when we arrived this past week to try it for the first time, The Cigar Cellar still managed to exceed them all. Upon entering, we were greeted by an extremely friendly staff and told that we could sit anywhere we liked. The ambience of the place is perfect. It honestly, feels like a Las Vegas strip establishment, meaning it's the kind of place where you know that you are going to have a good time. We ordered the chef's Charcuterie Selection, the Crab Beignet, the Coulette Steak, the Pork Belly Cuban, and the Scallops. Christina, one of our many servers for the evening (our personal favorite, but all were fantastic and attentive), also surprised us with a plate of the Grilled Spanish Octopus. All were beyond excellent. Understand that this is not typical State of Georgia bar food. This was a gourmet experience with a nice eclectic flair. It was truly amazing. For our cocktails we had the Smoked Old Fashions (a can't miss) and the Sazerac in Heaven. Both were good representations of the cocktails they are. We might have poured them slightly stronger than they came, but this is just a personal preference and not a complaint as the strength was quite standard. I personally smoked two cigars throughout my four+ hours spent relaxing there (Liga Privada #9 and Rocky Patel Decade Box-pressed). Both as excellent as the food and drinks. The humidor has a great selection and the tobacconist who guides you through the tour was very open to obtaining personal favorites for future visits. All in all, this was a 5 star complete-night-out-experience that will keep us coming back again and again. read more

Great place to come for different types of occasions. I've now visited the Cigar cellar thrice; once solo to have a cigar while finishing the work day, once on a date night to have some drinks food and a cigar, and another time with a friend to watch some sports with a cigar and drink. The staff are welcoming, fun and engaging. This is not a cliquish spot like many cigar lounges and small bars tend to be. There is also some diversity in the patronage so this is a place where anyone should feel welcome and comfortable. The establishment is well appointed and comfortable whether you are lounging privately at a small table with leather lounger, high top, on the patio or with a group at the bar. The amount of smoke in the room will depend on the number of patrons having a cigar as well as your tolerance for smoke. This is subjective and I would rate the smokiness slightly better than most places I have been to around the country. Out on the patio you won't hardly notice the smoke at all if you are sensitive. There may be a little room for improvement on the inside if I were picky; but I am not and from a frequent cigar smoker and cigar lounge frequenter, I find the atmosphere to be non bothersome and mostly unnoticeable. In the evenings on the weekend there is live music which is typically classy, low key and enjoyable. The background music when there is no live music is also classy and great background, not overbearing. Overall the atmosphere and ambience make it a great place to either relax and unwind or engage and converse. The bar selection is fairly broad, especially if you enjoy a nice bourbon or whiskey but the cocktails are also aplenty. There's also espresso if you find that your fancy with a stick and they do stock non-alcoholic Heineken zero . Drink prices are on the higher side of normal. The cigar selection is on the small side. There are a few staples in there but you will not be overwhelmed by the selection. Don't get me wrong, there are some good sticks but this area could be improved buy adding a few more boutique brands, a few more moderate priced classic staples and some different sizes or vitolas. You will find a few Padron, Fuente, Perdomo, Tatuaje, Southern Draw, Oliva, some flavored stuff, maybe a RP, a Davidoff, and some other odds and ends. Cigar prices are a tad higher than average but not deal breakers , eg. a $10 stick runs around $13 - $14. I almost forgot to mention the food and I certainly should not forget to mention it. Everything that we have had here has been absolutely outstanding. The calamari was great with a nice spicy kick and an excellent dish to accompany a cigar. The shrimp tacos with citrus zest and avocado were as Amelia stated, "FREAKING awesome". The sliders have a sauce on them that will have you coming back for more and the short rib and mash were divine. The food is way above bar or lounge food and maybe the biggest surprise. Seriously, the food is amazing and the main reason why I will have no issues getting friends that don't smoke cigars to come back and join me.
